  1. He's good, but definitely not better than Gladiator Hulk.
  2. Maybe lego could could make a 3-holed cape piece like the lego Ringwraiths had where it drapes over the shoulders a bit more? And then do the "down" hood piece in black that just sits on their back. Could that work? Probably. It was really just wishful thinking. I'm guessing the Tree will just be a pretty good sized build with a lot of ball joints to mimic its flexibility. I'd also expect some function where the top half rotates with a gear so you can spin it around and wack things. What I'm really interested in about this set is if it has a hole for you to slide the characters into the tree like it's supposed to have. That might indicate the longevity of the theme and if they're leaving the door open for future sets (like a shrieking shack)
  3. Is it possible the Whomping Willow set comes with the Shrieking Shack or something since they're linked? That's so many pieces for a tree and a car.
  4. If the figs we've seen are anything to go off of, I'm trying not to get my hopes up for the builds. The Sanctum sounds really cool, but I don't want to be super disappointed. I'm also excited about the D2C though. Hopefully we'll be getting some info on that soon. But are we sure that it's a D2C? I'm worried it'll be something stupid like a UCS Quinjet since there isn't one in this wave
  5. They’ve got to give us ravenclaw and hufflepuff torsos this time around, right? ...Right? Either way I’m hyped for Hogwarts. I’ll scream if it’s microfig scale though. That’s unacceptable. Nice to finally get a licensed theme that is location focused and not vehicle focused like marvel, dc, and star wars tend to be. I always liked that about the harry potter theme
  6. This is exciting! I was hoping for more than 5, but if this kicks off more than 2 waves like we got last time, I'm all for it! Just please give us Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff torsos I also am really hoping we get Queenie in some form as well as some really nice brickbuilt or molded fantastic beasts.
  7. Well if you look on the right side of the glove it looks like another slot for a stone. It won't be too accurate, but it's looking like some stones will fit on the sides as well.
  8. You're crazy if you think they're just not going to use the x-men...lol. And people do have a problem with supers, hence the whole sokovia accords thing..
  9. So I loved the movie, but can we talk about how horrible Finn is? He sucks! Phasma kicks his butt and then he hits Phasma when she's not prepared and she gets punished by falling to her death (though I believe she's still alive. She's too marketable). He really is scum as she said! Not to mention his arc in TFA is crap. He has a problem with the First Order killing a bunch of people and his stormtrooper buddies dying and then turns around and blows them all up in starkiller base. I was quite upset that Rose saved him and he didn't die.
  10. I was/am really hoping they make a new mold altogether for Thanos. The big fig mold being hunched over just does not suit him very well. Nor is it much fun to play with due to its lack of posability.
  11. Hm, looks fake to me.
  12. This anti-leg-printing campaign from Lego is really killing all hype I have for these sets. Let's go back to comic sets now. Super disappointed. These sets must have a huge budget and they can't do better than this? Consistent leg printing cannot be that difficult for them. I don't get it. I just don't.
  13. It just occurred to me that we actually see two shots of the Vibranium mine in the trailer, including what appears to be the mine carts.
  14. Wow...this is so inaccurate. There are definitely no Heroes vs Villains matches without Darth Maul Typically not-pressed-down bricks bother me, but the technique works for Yavin! Nice work! Your foliage is really good too.
  15. I still can't believe they didn't make a claw piece for Black Panther....seriously that's the most integral part of his fighting.
  16. The lack of leg, arm, and β€œear” printing really bring these sets down....pretty disappointed. And why is Klawes torso white? Why wouldnt they make it navy blue and print the white collar onto that?
  17. You're going to want to use light gray or even white for the hair. Dark gray doesn't look good.
  18. That girl is Lupita's character Nakia. It's nice to see more hairpieces for POC, but if you look at her character from the movie (below on the left), they really half-bricked it. She really needed arm and leg printing. Wth, Lego? Not even a mid skirt piece? Maybe it's just an incomplete figure, because black legs make no sense based on what we've seen, but Lego has also become so lazy with licensed printing lately, that I wouldn't be surprised at all if this is all that there is.
  19. Even worse than no leg printing is not printing on the ear piece. It looks like the have black donuts on their heads..
  20. That's good at least. Though he's pretty out of place in the set. Don't quite understand his inclusion. They could've made anything that's actually relevant to Mace and they shove him into some dingy speeder set he has nothing to do with. There could've been weekquays/Hondo, the jedi padawans, Ahsoka...heck, even some droids. And yeah, I'm months late complaining about the set, but it's just a bit disappointing.
  21. Wow, that Grievous speeder set is so lame. Just two figures? Do either of them even have exclusive prints? This would've been a perfect opportunity to give us a Clone Wars non-cartoon eyes Ahsoka fig considering she was actually in that episode with Grievous and the one he fought. Ugh.
  22. Why would even think up such a horror, let alone say it out loud...?
  23. Well the first one made over $800 million, which is good. Lego has made sets of franchises that grossed far less at the box office.
  24. I think the feature is that you shoot it and the snake comes out.
  25. Ragnarok was indeed pretty awesome. Loved Korg and Miek.
