Well we at least know the suitcase exists, so I think it's possible Aragog is out there. I've said this a couple times, but they seem to be pushing "fantastic beasts" across all of the sets, both HP and FB, and Aragog fits that theme. We'll see, I'm hoping it exists

I imagine Ollivander will come with the Lego HP book that supposedly comes with a minifig rather than him being a CMF

So, let's get this straight: Antman gets a new face print, his own molded helmet, and leg printing. While Wasp, who is equally leading the movie gets: no leg printing, no power blasts, no unique helmet mold, reused face print, and inaccurate wings. I had hope at least the face print might save the figure, but it's deafeningly clear Lego just doesn't care. I really thought they might start delivering with the female figures, but Lego still just won't give them the care they deserve. I mean Scarlet Witch wasn't even in the IW sets and she had a bigger role than 90% of the other Avengers. I'm just so disappointed.

A 1/260 chance for a fig would be pretty crap. Unless it’s something like a chromed version of a character. Something few care about

If Lego is smart they'll put a dementor in there. Easy money Thought of that possibility myself, but then decided against it! Would be awesome though! Would love to have her at Hogwarts

I think the biggest problem with LotR was not that it straight up "flopped," but that Lego seriously mismanaged the theme in the second wave and made sets people didn't ask for and didn't want to buy. Why would you make a forgettable ghost pirate ship over iconic moments like the Balrog, Fellbeast, etc? It's pretty much on them. And then $200 big black tower over the Minas Tirith people wanted? Hm. Poor handling. Here's hoping Lego doesn't make a similar mistake with Harry Potter! Looks like they're pumping out some iconic sets in this first wave and saving some good stuff for the future as well.

I think Boycotting HP over no separate Castle theme would actually be super counterintuitive to wanting a Castle theme revival.. I don't know if I believe that. Movies 1, 2, and 3 of HP all had really big waves. The theme even continued on for movies 4 and 5, though they definitely downsized the theme for those two movies.

I specifically said "went on to make." Black Panther was projected to make a lot of money from the start. Maybe not 1.3 billion, but at least as much as Ragnarok. And I'm sorry, but the figures from the BP sets were SO lackluster. Look at how detailed the Dora Milaje costumes are and then look at Okoye and Nakia. Might as well not even be them. The lack of leg and arm printing is noticeable to me because I pay a lot of attention to costuming and design. Not every figure needs the same amount of detail, but some just do, and it's just frustrating that they unarguably cut corners with Wasp. I am aware we have awesome sets coming out this year (they seem to be putting a lot of effort into HP, which is fantastic) but I have not felt that same level of dedication to Marvel for this year.

I saw a review of the *reveal* of the Antman and the Wasp set on youtube and they pointed out that side characters in Star Wars get more attention to detail and new molds over lead characters in the MCU like Wasp. Now I know Marvel sets may not have the same budget as Star Wars (though who's to say?) but I found that comparison particularly eye-opening considering many of those molds for Star Wars will never be used again. And Antman in the Wasp is probably on the same level of blockbuster as a movie like Solo is (though both Antman and the Wasp trailers have slightly more views than either Solo trailer, just saying). Even crazier when you look back at the lazy figure printing on the Black Panther sets and realize that movie went on to make $1.3 Billion! You would think merchandise for movie/s like that would be high quality.

For the record, I think it's better if we get points for what the accessories are rather than specific outfits. Also, I think we need to bear in mind that Lego will probably be trying to keep a fair amount of female figures. I think a lot of people forget that in CMF predictions. I've seen some non-HP ones that suggest like 2 females and I just find that unrealistic 1. Harry (Generic Hogwarts Robes)-Wand and Hedwig 2. Ron (Weasley Sweater)-Wand and Scabbers 3. Jacob Kowalski (FB 1 Appearance)- Printed Pastry I will say this was very difficult though! 22 is a lot of figures especially when you have to weigh desirability and potential in future sets! Also, I tried really hard to add those females to the line up like I said, but it was hard because I'm aiming for pre book 4 like the sets seem to be. Lastly, I know Padma is only a Ravenclaw in the books, but there aren't many notable Ravenclaws in the movies other than Luna and I don't think they'll have her in just yet and I felt a robe from each house would be a good army building potential in TLG's eyes.

I second feeling the bags. It's not too hard to do as long as you know the accessories that the figs have. Buying them online you have to pay shipping. I don't even know how I got to this thread when I posted it, I swear I was on the other one!

If Lego had just made a new helmet mold for Wasp, they could've used it for both MCU Hope and Janet and get some money out of it

Hope basically has her mom's hairstyle in the first Antman. It's not a stretch to use it. And you could always just pretend this Wasp is Janet anyway.
