  1. Wouldn't be the first time Lego planned ahead for future sets to fill in previous gaps
  2. *cough* I already said this *cough* That hair and head does work really well though.
  3. I was thinking you could make a really solid Black Cat out of that torso and legs
  4. Exactly what I thought when I saw it
  5. Honestly I love the sand green. I mean, it has sand green roofing in the models they used for shots of the castle. But if they went to dark gray it wouldn't be the end of the world. I don't see them doing that though.
  6. What do you mean? She only has one costume
  7. Where exactly did it leak? Don’t see it on instagram or discord
  8. Why not both? If they made an antman and the wasp set they could use part of the budget for that set for the Wasp helmet mold rather than waste some of the Avengers budget on her. And then that way we would have two variants of the character as well.
  9. Amazing. You answered your own question. Of course people want it for the Wasp. Why get Wasp this summer when we can potentially wait till next year since she's in Avengers 4. Sooner the better
  10. Honestly I'm surprised people are saying they don't want the house ghosts. We'd likely never see them in any other set, save maybe Sir Nicholas, and they're great additions to flesh out the castle...They're really the ones from the list I'm most excited for. I want more unique characters and less rehash. I could do without Fred and George taking up two whole slots.
  11. The little girl is holding a tiny dinosaur in the Mansion set, is that it?
  12. No. Supposedly it's a later release. November or something I thought? Could be why it's not in there
  13. But that's the Great Hall, not the D2C Hogwarts. The Great Hall is supposedly only $80 compared to the Diagon Alley D2C that was $150
  14. Idk, something's off about the mansion to me. It's really well built and everything, but the outside is weird. Maybe it's the huge windows. Still like it a lot. Do we know the price?
  15. So does that mean they're not making them at all? Do we seriously have to wait till next year for a *chance* at Wasp? The only founding avenger we still don't have. Ugh.
  16. I'm hoping they make the girls have skirt prints ala Velma. Pretty spot on if you alter the colors.
  17. Nice, I think you captured the essentials quite nicely. I'd probably only add the Triwizard Champions, Crabbe and Goyle, a Dementor, Hagrid, and Percy. (And although they're not human, I simply insist that they give us Fang, Fawkes, and Buckbeak this time around) Though if I may ask, who are the two characters between Peter and Lucius? Is that Crabbe and Goyle? Or Fenrir and someone else?
  18. My main problem is the face. It's generic and so not...Emma Watson.
  19. Well, I mean, he doesn't have purple eyes. It was excusable during the first appearance since it's based on concept art, but they went to the trouble of updating his stone color so I don't understand the laziness behind not easily changing the eyes at the same time.
  20. In terms of desirability for casual fans though, Lockhart isn't at the top of the "definitely need to be included" list. Madeye I could maybe see an argument for.
  21. It's a shame that after 3 years they still refuse to update correct Vision's eyes. Just kind of waiting for a comic version at this point.
  22. The idea behind so many figs is so that people who can't afford the D2C can still get the important figures.
  23. If we're agreeing that the castle will be more of a play set than a display piece, why shouldn't it have a good amount of figs? -The Death Star was clearly meant to be for play and had a TON of figs. The Hogwarts Castle will even be comparable in price and piece count. Conversely: The Super Star Destroyer was meant for display and only had 5 figs. -The Disney Castle is somewhere in between. It's got play features, but the inside is not as iconic as the outside, which is why a lot of attention was put on how it looked as a model. Hogwarts has an iconic inside and out as it's been featured in 7 books and 8 movies. Basically the Lego Disney Castle serves as a glorified dollhouse. Most effort put into the exterior for display purposes while the inside is given some play features for those who buy it for that. No one buys a Super Star Destroyer to play with it. I'm thinking Hogwarts will be somewhere in between as well. But, like I said, it's iconic inside and out. The Harry Potter sets have always been about locations, let's not forget that. They take these locations from the movies and make them playable. Look no further than Diagon Alley. While it was honestly more display heavy it still had a ton of figs and added play features like hat stands and magical creatures and such. So I'd say definitely expect more than 5 figs. No less than 10 for sure. There will no doubt be repeats, (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy, Dumbledore, Snape, Hagrid for sure) but expect some unique ones that aren't super important to kids, Trewlaney, Lockhart, Quirrell, maybe Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students, though I doubt them honestly. They seem like perfect army building potential. The real enigmas to me are Ginny and Luna. They're big enough characters for kids to probably want them, so I'm not entirely convinced they'd be exclusives to the castle. So where are they?! Hoping Lego is planning for the long run..
  24. Unless they’re variants or something, I think it’s alright if they just stay in the sets personally
  25. Yes, I am aware. The difference is that the ghosts are displayable within the castle, Lily and James are unusable other than in what, the mirror of Erised and a Resurrection stone scene? I'm still looking forward to them, but they're the least useful, imo. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students would have been good army builders, not sure why Lego wouldn't be interested in that money. All well.
