That is a very nice idea, Brick Miner! But I personally don't think it makes sense to open for each City subtheme a new topic. But there even have been some people in the "Ideas for new City sets" topic who wrote down ideas for powaer plants etc., too. So it would make much more sense to write down all ideas for new City sets here: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...pic=9448&st=150 Please don't take this personally - I would have told this everyone else, too.

Thank you very much for that information, sam89! So they don't belong to the EU but to episode 4-6?

Thank you very much for that great news, Hobbes! It would be very nice to have a "mail (cargo) plane". Hopefully it will not be as big as the planes which were released last year and hopefully it will be available in each toy shop (like I already mentioned). I hope that this set will include a little cargo depot, too - similar to http://www.peeron.com/scans/6377-1/1. That would be great! I don't think that 7731 will be only a "mail van". If it will nevertheless be like this then there surely will be another set which is/includes a post office because releasing a "mail van" and a "mail (cargo) plane" but no post office would make no sense!

Thank you very much for that news, stan! On the one hand (30 %) I like the two little nice new BPs 7667 and 7668 because Tantive 4 Rebel Troopers are very cool and I even like more Strormtrooper minifigs. On the other hand (70 %) I am very disappointed that none of these two BPs includes Snowtroopers and Hoth Rebel Troopers like it was foretold. That's very cumbrous because I bought a week ago the Hoth Rebel Base with the hope that I will get some more Hoth Rebel Troopers and Snowtroopers at the end of this year's December to complete the Hoth scenario. If I had known at this time that there will be no BP with Snowies and Hoth Rebels I would have thought about it twice to buy it. I've got not the money to buy two or more Hoth Rebel Bases and now there are only two Snowies and two Hoth Rebels for the whole Hoth landscape - that's abject! I hope that TLC will release one or more BPs with Snowies and Hoth Rebels in summer 2008 or in the beginning of 2009. Otherwise I would be very angry! By the way: I can't remind of having seen the vehicles of the 7667 and 7668 BPs in one of the episode 1-6 movies. Does anyone know if they belong to episode 3, episode 4-6 or to the EU? Since the pics are very cloudy: Does anyone know/see if there is a pilot in the cockpit of the Imperial Dropship?

Some additions to my last reply: I hope that the "5612 police and a dog" will be a police officer, a dog and a lead. I hope that the "7731 post cargo" will be a post office with two floors (maybe first floor: desk and little storage, second floor: office), a post car with doors, two post officers and a female citizen. I hope that the "7732 cargo airPlane" will include a little cargo plane with some cargo stuff, a pilot and an airport worker and I hope it won't be a set only available at special airlines. I hope that the "7726 Coast Watch HQ" will come with a big lifeboat, a little lifeboat, a little car with doors and some nice minifigs. But if there will be a seperate set with a big lifeboat it would be OK if the 7726 "Coast Watch HQ" would only include a little lifeboat. I hope that the "7733 truck and Fork-Lift Truck" will include a not so big truck (at the most six, but better four stuck wide and with doors), a fork-lift similar to the one in the new last year's RC cargo train, a lot of cargo stuff and two until three workers. To the other sets: No addition. I know that I'm very ambitious and have partly maybe utopian wishes - but that's how it is! By the way: I hope that this year's harbor won't be the only set for the next years which includes a cargo ship. That wouldn't be nice. How I proposed http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=9448, I'd like another cargo ship, a fuel tanker and(/or) a fishing cutter. ... And I'd like some shops, some apartments and a bank! But let's see, perhaps we've got luck?!

Thank you for this information, lucajuventio! If the General Veers minifig has the same torso like the "usual" officers TLC released until now TLC made a mistake to name this minifig General Veers because - how you can see on the photo on the link xwingyoda posted above my reply - General Veers has four red "emblems" and four blue "emblems" and not in each case three like the "usual" officer. By the way: I would like so much a Smowtrooper Commander like the one on this photo: http://theforce.net/swtc/Pix/dvd/ep5/veers3.jpg I hope that TLC will one day release a minifig like this one!

The new AT-AT is great! There is indeed no speederbike included like in the old AT-AT, but the walking function is much more interesting and perhaps there is even a speederbike included in the new Rebel Speeder Bike BP in 2008. The price (139,99 Euro) is very OK in comparison to the old AT-AT which had no walking function, I'd say. You could quarrel over if the General Veers minifig is a "real" General Veers minfig. In my opinion it is a normal imperial officer minifig because the face doesn't show any individual patterns. But nevertheless a new officer minifig (Is it a new minifig? I can't see it on the pics because they are too cloudy.) is great even if it is no "real" General Veers! By the way: Has anyone got a detailed pic of the General Veers minifig and would be so nice to post it here in order to see if this minifig has a new suit or not?

Thank you very much for that great news, legomilk! 5610 Includes worker minifigure and accessories, 5611 Includes worker minifigure and accessories: I'll hope that one of these workers is a harbor worker. Since these are Impulse sets I'll surely buy them because they won't be very expensive. 5612 police and a dog: I think that this will be another Impulse set: A police officer with a dog - very nice! I'll buy this one, too. 5613 the fire chief: I don't think that I'll buy this one because I like the old fire men until 2005 much more than the ones after 2005 7726 Coast Watch HQ: That sounds awesome! I hope it will be nicer than the one from 200? - than I'll buy it! 7741 police helicopter, 7743 police truck: I don't think that I'll buy these sets because they surely willbe very big vehicles and I prefer little vehicles. 7731 post cargo: If it is a post office I'll surely buy it. I've got the old post office indeed, but it is very little. 7732 cargo airPlane: If it's a little plane I'll perhaps buy it - otherwise not. 7734 big cargo airplane: I surely won't buy this set because it will be at least as big as the passenger planes from last year and I don't like big vehicles like them because they don't go with my older sets (and I've got not the place to put them anywhere). 7733 truck and Fork-Lift Truck: If it is a nice set with not too big vehicles I'll perhaps buy it. Jeepers creepers! From where shall I get all the money for these many nice sets?! (There will surely be some nice SW episode 4-6 sets in 2008, too and I want to buy them, too! And I haven't got yet the new harbor and all of this year's and last year's SW episode 4-6 sets!)

Very nice MOC, Graynar! I like the Inn very much - thar's something without action and violence, but something which would perfectly go with Castle sets. The Barracks present the "action aspect". So both things - action and "non-action" are combined in one set - that's what I would call a succesfull set! The only thing which I do really not like are these ugly undeads. In my opinion there could be even bad knights who don't look as horibke as these undeads! But all in all: Very well done! You and Lost Viking should be Lego set inventors - then we would finally get our so desired medieval town/medieval market sets! I hope TLC will release something like your MOC or Lost Viking's MOC in the near future!

Here are two new ideas: Christmas Trees' Selling Stall a little cottage (with a little stove, a table, a chair, a lamp and a cash) and a big fence around the area where the conifers are sold including a lot of conifers (big and small ones), an axe, a saw, a motor saw, a shovel, a brush, a dustbin and the little apparat where you can put in the conifers to put a net around them in order for better transportation after having bought them minifigs: Christmas trees' selling stall owner (old man with pipe), woman and child Chritmas Family including a Christmas tree, a sled and a snowman minifigs: father, mother, little son and little daughter What do you think? In my opinion these would be very nice sets, don't you think?!

What about a new post office, a packet service car and a post officer on a bycicle? http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=11265

2008 Exclusives turn up on "Replacement parts" page
Klaus-Dieter replied to sam89's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Since I (and certainly somne of you, too) would like to know in which time these sets will be released next year, I thought a bit about it and reasoned by comparing with this year's Exclusives. Perhaps you might be interested in it: 10184 Town Plan: if it will be a "normal" City Exlusive (like for example the Main Street some years ago) => fall/winter (mainly for Christmas sales) if it will be a Caf -
It would be only consistant to release a post office if TLC would continue to release more classic products - and it would be great! The two post offices TLC released in the early 80th were nice but much to small and with very few accessories. A new post office with a car (With doors, please and only four stuck bright!), two post officers, a female civilian and a lot of stuff like letters and packets - similar to the already mentioned Playmobil post office - would be very nice! If this would become true, I could even imagine other sets base on this theme: -packet service car with driver, a barrow and a lot of packets -post officer with bicycle and mailbox (e. g. as a may/june/july Impulse set)

Very, very well done, Lost Viking! That are great Castle MOCs! You seem to be a very talented Castle builder! You must know that I'm a Classic Castle fan and don't like the Castle sets since Knights' Kingdom. Lego goes more and more into the direction of fantasy and video games than making realistic and nice Castle sets. That's a pity because not all new sets are bad but there are some elements (like these undeads in the new Castle sets) which degrade the other nice things which are in the set. Especially because of this I really like your Castle MOCs because they use classic material and put it into a new face. That's brilliant! In my opinion there should be Lego set invemtors like you - then we would get nicer Castle sets again! Most of all I like the the Market Cart, the Market Wall and the Blacksmith. The reason for this is that I don't like it to have only Castle sets which include a lot of action and only knights, soldiers, catapults, ... There should even be civilian because the Middle Age did not only consist of knights and wars! I like castle with the spring, the stable, the little timbered house, the donjon and the well chosen minifigs (with menials and damsel of the castle - Great!), too and the castle courtyard is very nice, too. The only thing which I have to review is that the nice house is a bit empty. To summarize: Very, very well done!

Nothing rather than that! I'm really looking forward to buy the DS. I hope that it will be no UCS set, that it will come with a lot of new minifigs and that it won't cost as much as the Millenium Falson UCS set. Otherwise I won't be able to buy it (regrettably I've got not enough money to buy 550 Euros sets)! Do you know/Have you seen that the DS will come with a hangar and a TIE fighter or are you only speculating? If you know/have seen it: Is it Vader's TIE Advanced? If you are only speculating: I think - if the DS is only a playset and no UCS set - it wouldn't be as big as it's possiblethat it would include a TIE hangar. I think there only will be 3-4 rooms. Or did you only want to make a joke? -
Stage Coach Ambush: Wild West MOC by Sir Nadroj

Very, very nice MOC, Sir Nadroj! THe colours and the design of the Stage Coach are 10000% perfect! -
The "Broken Spoke" Gold Mine: A Wild West MOC
Klaus-Dieter replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's a brilliant MOC, Sir Nadroj! It's very well designed with the big cactus in the front, the watergutter on the left side, the crane on the right side and - the nice gold lorry. The gold lorry was the thing which I missed very much in the official Lego WW Gold Mine from 1996. There was a canon, ok, but a gold lorry would have applied much more! Very, very nice! -

I even agree with you, imperialshadows! The Cloud City was well-designed but not that set I would have liked to see(by the way: I didn't buy it because of this case). A new, bigger and more precise Cloud City with these little creatures which run the carbonite machine would be nice. Of course Lando Calrissian and one or two Bespin Guars shouldn't miss. I'd like the big glass cupola (out of plexiglass like in the old Paradisa sets) of the room in which Han and Leia wait before Han is freezed. An Endor Battle Pck with two Endor Rebel Troopers, a Strom Trooper, a Scout Trooper and a speeder bike would be great. A black C-3PO in the 10188 Death Star set? - That would be great. I'm really sure that they will include a Grand Moff Tarkin minifig in this set if they - I hope - make the meeting room (where Tarkin meets Vader and all these other high.ranking officers). And I hope so much for Imperial Navy Toopers and new Imperial Officers! -

Oh yes! I hope that TLC will release some Endor sets. There have only been two Endor sets in the whole LSW time (Speeder Bikes and Ewok Attack) until now (if you don't count the AT-STs, but they can be used for Tatooine and Hoth, too, so they aren't special Endor sets). Consequently I think - and hope - that TLC will release some Endor sets soon, too. And what about Tatooine sets?! I'd like to see some Tusken Raiders, more different Sand Troopers (with rucksacks, please!) and a Bantha. Like with the Endor sets there haven't been many Tatooine sets before, too: Landspeeder, Mos Eisley Cantina (I bought it but the Cantina itself was very spartan!), Dessert Skiff, Jabba's Palace-Jabba's Message-Jabba's Prize, Jabba's Sail Barge and Imperial Landing Craft. OK, ok, ok! That aren't few sets - but nevertheless there is much more potential. And I agree with you that more different minifigs should be produced. It's how you wrote: If there are new minifigs in a new set (or perhaps even only one) people buy the set even if they already have an older set of this type. But they only buy it because of a new, cool minifig. If I look at myself: THe new 7666 Hoth Rebel Base is well designed but spartanic. I'm very disappointed of it because I expected a bigger set with some rooms, a Tauntaun, a Rebel Commander and Luke in Hoth outfit. But like there is this pretty nice K-3PO minifig, I'll nevertheless buy the set. That's evidence, I'd say! -
I didn't want to hurt, to discriminate or to make fun of someone with my statement - in my oppinion I even showed this by writing down two different possible solutions which should have only ensured that we Lego fans would be able to buy nice Christmas sets. But since I be struck that not every person here will understand what I want to say with what I wrote down and in order to prevent misunderstanding I did erasure this part of my last post and will never make statments like this. But now a new idea: Winter House a winter house (first floor: entrance with little kitchen (with cooker and sink) and living room (with chimney, big sofa, little table with lamp, seat and TV set), second floor: bath room (with shower, toilet and washbasin) and sleeping room (with a big bed and two bedstands with lamps on them)), a snowy garden with some trees and an igloo including a little car (With doors!), a suitcase, a shovel and a dustbin minifigs: father, mother, little daughter and little son What do you think? Any other ideas?!

I agree in both points with you, Mr Hobbes! To the 10185 Green Grocer set: On the one hand I think (and even hope) that it'll be no Modular building set. the reason for this is that in the Market Street set there isalready included a veg stall. So it would be absurd to release another Modular building set which includes a grocer's shop. On the other hand I think that it'll be a Modular building set. The reasons for that are that at first TLC released two Modular building sets this year. Not releasing more sets of this kind in the future would - in my opinion - make no sense. Secondly there is - in my opinion - missing another corner house (look at the picture in the left middle of the bottom of the page http://shop.lego.com/ByCatalog/onlinecat.aspx?c=de6) at the left side to conclude the front of the Caf -

I totally agree with you, xwingyoda! The Trash Compactor, a cell bloke and an imperial command center should really be included in this set - and I think that they even will be! I'd like Grand Moff Tarkin's meeting room with the small window to look out of the Death Star, the round big table with the seats for the officers, too and I hope it'll be included, too! By the way: I thought about it once more and now I'm sure that the 10188 SW Death Star can only be the Death Star 1 from Episode 3-4. Otherwise TLC would have named the set "10188 SW Death Star 2". So I'm a bit disappointed because I'd have liked Emperor Palpatine's throne room (with the elevator) so much. But nevertheless I'm looking forward to see (and even buy - I hope it won't cost more than 150-200 Euros) it and I think it'll be a great set.
