My first ever BrickLink order arrived today and confused the heck out of me as it was packaged in a Belville box However it was a smooth and speedy transaction from start to finish from Matteo at "A Wonderfull World" (sic), and I got exactly what I ordered!

MOC: A mosaic birthday gift which I have received
Pandora replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Awwww! That is just adorable! You look so happy in the mosaic! What a lovely, kind and heartfelt gift. You are both clearly very lucky people. -
Great review with fabulous pictures! And that poor old abused part Lucky you for getting such a bargain!
-
Those are great photos designholic, and "Bad Timing" really made me laugh, especially the picture with the thief hiding behind the bush! Very cheeky! Looking forward to seeing more and I'm inspired to try to find time to take some pics myself.

To echo the above posters, all best thoughts and wishes to those affected, and their friends and family. Good luck on the long road to rebuilding after such a horrific event.

Happy Birthday WhiteFang! Have a great day; lots of beer and lots of LEGO!
-
I really like this scene, especially the pier and the way you've done the rocks. I don't quite get the trees either I'm afraid, but I still think this is really nicely built with a good story behind it and some great features.

Yay!! I love seeing scenes like this You must have hours of fun with your town! Thank you for sharing.

I'm glad you got carried away, this is a great fishing boat! All you need now are some more fish and crabs and a bit of sea. I really like the staggered effect of the prow, it gives a nice sense of movement. Plus it's nice to see a boat here.

What a fabulously dark, imaginative mind you have! The grainy-ness of the pics make them seem as if we are remembering them. I love it/ hate it - whatever makes you happy; it's just for our imaginations to fill in the gaps and complete the story.....
-
That's a really good idea for a vignette, and you've done it really well too. I like that the pictures are nice and clear so we can really appreciate it, and the choice of purple and light blue still give the feel of "heady intoxication" in the way the room was described in the books. Liked the funny at the end too!

Hi Ras74, I'm Rufus' plus one (for your list!) and we should be able to make it, but we're still not sure which days yet. Can I repeat Rufus' request that you let us know where you'll all be staying (when you know), and we can try to co-ordinate. Looking forward to June

Werewolf Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
Pandora replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What a coincidence! There seems to be a ready supply of that too! -
What a great idea! It looks very smooth with the SNOTwork, and the fact that you can use it to play table-football with your kids is great as well. I also wondered about the minifig attachment - do they end up flying all over the place? Nice pictures too

I hope you don't mind a non-playing interloper (there have been others); Walter I'd love to share some popcorn, if I may. Don't worry about the applesauce, though, I can get my hands on a ready supply -
That is truly incredible. I looked through all the pictures, and if I were to comment on how great I think everything is... I'd be here for a fortnight; so suffice it to say: incredible work from both you and your girlfriend - I find the interiors very interesting and, I really look forward to seeing how this grows. And I'm jealous as hell of your talent and collection! Can I echo the earlier request for another shot of the city as a whole? Thanks, and thanks for sharing!

Love this! I'm a huge final fantasy fan, and this is a fabulously shot comic from that world. Really like the creations you've built in order to tell the story, the scenery is really reminiscent of the games. I also really like the skeleton army and the reference to Shiva and Diamond Dust. I'll have to read the earlier editions, but a cool MOC would be Bahamut with his multi-coloured wings. Maybe he'll turn up later?

That's HUGE, and amazing. So much detail; I too love the helicopter. I can see why it's on display, I honestly have no idea how you did this but it's great to look at. Thanks.

She's just the cutest! Will she be allowed to play with Daddy's LEGO when she grows up??

I was going to say how high Caesarian section rates are, and that it's very much an everyday operation these days, but that doesn't matter much if it's happening to you, and it's understandably worrying. There's already been some good advice, and I would just add - go with the flow. It sounds flippant, but it's not. The more you expect or hope for one outcome or another, the more stressful it becomes for you both if something different happens. Again, all our best wishes for a happy and healthy Mum and baby, however it happens, and for a happy and relieved Daddy too. Fingers and toes crossed.

Ooooh! That is such an amazing build!! It's so detailed, inside and out, and I love the architecture of the building itself. The display windows are beautifully recreated with the minifigs and the columns on either side. I really do think this is absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing it with us.
