  1. Thanks a lot! Yeah, fun to try some new things every now and then, glad you liked it
  2. Are there any Kali-builds being produced boys and girls? Feels like the other guilds are running circles around us, haha!
  3. The oversized sheep-race of El'yah, bred for decades just south of Mophet, have proven to be a real asset as cavalry in the desert regions. Although not the fastest animal around, their weight and aggressive demeanor makes them ideal for battle. So basically I found a big duplo sheep and just felt I had to use it, haha! Love the bulky look of those duplo-animals
  4. As planned, the settlement north of Mophet had grown rapidly. Proximity to the river made it fairly easy to secure building materials and given the strong trade-routes that had been established with Mophet, trade was abundant. Tabib had made the journey north and was very pleased to see the developments that had taken place in a very short period of time. The hope was to continue strengthening the ties to Barqa, while also establishing relationships with cities in other parts of Historica. Still need to flesh out the back-story a bit but happy to be building a bit more with water, haha! I hope to make a few more builds exploring the Arkbri just north of Mophet and I hope you guys like it so far. Thanks for watching
  5. Got a feel for some bionicle
  6. Thanks! Yeah, like Grover said, the PaB-wall really helped when gathering that quantity, haha! Cheers man! PaB-wall for the win
  7. Historica is filled with myths and legends. One of which, tells the story of an ancient portal hidden away in the depths of the more dense forrest in Kaliphlin (contrary to popular opinion, Kaliphlin does have a few trees here and there...). Tabib D'Odo was told this story when he was a young man travelling the land and had always been fascinated by it. It described a man who one day supposedly had stumbled across an ancient stone structure, and as he approached it, a glowing blue light started radiating from the center of it. No one really knows what happened next as the story has quite a few different endings. Some say he ran away and the portal was never again found. Some claim he entered it and was taken to a distant land filled with treasures. Others claim evil spirits came pouring out of the portal and was the reason Historica could never seem to find lasting peace...Most however simply believed that the whole thing was just a story someone made up to keep their kids from wandering to far into the wild. Whatever the case, the story lives on, and perhaps one day someone will again stumble across this mythical place... Hope you enjoyed the build, as well as my little story. This build basically started with me buying way to many lightsabers and the rest pretty much grew from that. Thanks fpr looking!
  8. Thanks man! It did take a bit of patience . Glad you liked the trees, I came up with that technique when i noticed I had gotten a hold of a bunch of those lassos and didn't really know what to do with them, haha! Looking forward to seeing you have a go at them!
  9. Thanks man, starting to build up a decent amount of Kali-figs now
  10. Thanks! Haha, it took a bit of patience... . Glad you liked it, thanks! Thank you very much! Thanks! Glad you liked all the details. Haha, I had to write something about the goats Thanks a lot, appreciate it! Thank you, the architects are feeling a bit inspired, haha! Yeah, the banana-effect when building this type of water is brutal...I thought about adding a base to level it, but felt it made it a bit too clunky compared to the rest of the build. But I definately see your point. Thank you so much! The bridge is pretty delicate, my kids accidentaly landed a ball on top of it which proved that theory...It does hold up quite well if left alone though, it's basically just wedged in from each side a bit to keep its shape. Thanks! Goats are truly hard to come by in Historica...
  11. Lovely build buddy, great colourscheme and some very lush vegetation. Really like the overall composition and that roof works really well. Great job!
  12. Although mostly known as a sandpit (glad to be a part of it, haha!), some parts of Kaliphlin actually does contain water and some rather lush vegetation. The Arkbri river has quite a few smaller rivers and creeks running from it that are essential in supplying the otherwise barren landscape with water. Goats are well equipped in dealing with the harsh climate and although not too common (mainly because of the insane prices of goats in all of historica...), there are quite a few goat herders that call Kaliphlin their home. Some of them live a nomadic life, covering large distances while maintaining the well-being of their livestock. One of them is Mae'Iz, a somewhat grumpy man that prefers the company of goats over men any day of the week. He was particularly grumpy on this day as he had heard rumours about the current rise in population along some parts of the Arkbri river...Buildings had began to sprung up and a small community had even began to take shape as trade had increased in the region. So this is a little scene that I made to illustrate a bit of the surroundings north of Mophet, where the expansion is beginning to take shape... The bridge is made from a bunch of 4L bars with 1x1 plate with clips on each side. The whole thing is slightly bent to match the curve of the fence-pieces. Hope you like it
  13. Lovely colourscheme and some really nice shapes and details. Great job!
  14. Thank you, always fun to work a bit on some smaller vigs every now and then Thanks a lot! Went a little back and forth in the level of detail with the fireplace so I'm glad you liked it! Old style books is the way to go, haha! Was a bit suprised actually that they fit so well with a 2x3 plate. You are correct about the hairpiece Cheers man! Very much appreciated. Glad to hear, thanks! More water will follow...
  15. Thank you, a pretty time-consuming technique, haha! Glad you liked the camels as well.
  16. Cheers man, glad you liked it!
  17. Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it! Haha, thank you! Glad you liked the little details. Cheers, gotta love them elephants! Haha, thanks to LUG-bulk! Glad you liked it! Cheers dude, glad to hear! Thank you very much! The rounded plates really allow for a lot of fun shapes. Thanks a lot! Haha, thanks! Glad to hear, had a lot of fun making the ground so glad you liked it! Thank you! Appreciate it!
  18. As the city of Mophet had continued to expand, some would even say flourish, discussions began to take place regarding an expansion. The natural direction was north, towards the Arkbri river which was barely a days ride away. Although a great deal of trade was still being conducted along the oilroad, more and more people in the city had realized that the lifeblood of Historica was still the Arkbri river. On it, goods and resources could travel as far away as Mitgardia, with a significant reduction in risk that otherwise came with transport in the badlands. Tabib D'Odo had recieved an invitation from one of the more prominent merchants in the city to discuss this matter further...
  19. The legendary fighting elephants of Mophet have become a cornerstone of the army that protects the city. Large in size, and with thick skin, they are well equipped to handle the harsh climate and instill fear in anyone considering an attack on the now prosperous city.
  20. Cheers dude, glad to hear
  21. Stunning work guys! The rock-work is superb and the colourscheme works perfectly. The snow steals the show though, just awesome.
  22. Thank you man, glad you like some of the details as well
  23. Thanks! I figured it would be fun to go rather big with the hall so I'm glad you liked it. The only concern I had was to make sure it didn't look too abandoned given the scale, haha! Much appreciated buddy, thanks! More ships will follow, haha! Thank you! The floor-pattern was actually what started the whole build so I'm glad you liked it Glad to hear man, thank you! Always fun to dabble a bit with microscale Thank you very much, glad to hear! Haha, thanks! Glad you liked the interior as well Thank you very much! Haha, yeah it is a pretty big hall . Glad to hear you liked it! Thanks! Yeah I went a bit back and forth in adding more details in the great hall. Finally settled on this look to keep the focus on the table and the disussion that they are having, but I definately see your point
  24. Thanks buddy! Hopefully I'll be able to include those shields in some more builds later on
