Merry Christmas to you as well, Sandy! I just want to say thank you so much for creating this incredible game for us all to enjoy! Have a wonderfully festive day filled with family and LEGO! And Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to everybody else as well!

Bit of a strange mix at the moment; I'm listening to Party With Pinkie by DJ Alex S and Indestructible by Disturbed. That's always a plus.

Aw, that's adorable! Thanks for sharing this, CopMike! Merry Christmas, everybody!

Heroica RPG - Quest #16: The Paladin Conquest

"Well, I hate to say it guys, but I'm fresh out of potions. Should I try my luck with the Healing Staff?" -
I've been listening to So Cold by Breaking Benjamin quite a bit today. It's got quite a dark and depressing vibe to it, but it goes almost perfectly with some of the Western LDD MOCs I've been creating lately. As a matter of fact, no, I had not! Thanks for sharing the link, though, it's a great song. Wow, that's awesome! For some reason, the electric violin fits the song extremely well!

REVIEW: 8827 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6
Tamamono replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Another great review, Fangy! In my opinion, Series 6 is the best minifigure series so far. In fact, I might have to actually complete the series this time! My favorites are the Butcher, the Intergalactic Girl, the Flamenco Dancer, and the Surgeon, but they're all very nice 'figs! Thanks for sharing this with us! -

"I will use a potion from the back row! This is my last potion, so let's hope we get a Sentinel position this round." -

"Whoops, I completely forgot about the shields! Thanks, for reminding me, Sir Glorfindel! Yeah, I think we should porbably go with Cronk's plan, then. Glorfindel and I will fire the ballista at F1." -

"That's a good plan, Cronk, but even if you're in the back row, you and Leo are going to take a lot of damage. I say we think of something else." -

"Damn, they just keep coming!" "Should I heal myself, use a potion, or attack this time around? Or maybe we can all throw our bombs (fire or ice) and do as much damage as we can." -

"Whoops, I had completely forgotten about that!" "I will use the healing staff on myself from the back row!" "That's a good point, Leo. I think we'll have a much better chance once Kapriel gets here." -

OOC: Okay, thank you for clarifying. I guess that means there's no reason not to fight to the 'death'. "Okay, I'll use the healing staff on myself." -

"The free hits are the real problem. I'm at less than half health, and I have no armor, so those free hits will take care of me in no time (although we do still have one round before I get knocked out). Luckily, I bought a smoke bomb before we began our quest, so we can use it if things start to get bad." OOC: Etzel, am I allowed to use my smoke bomb and flee, or would that not work in a siege battle? -
Hey, thanks for the additional pictures, Clone gunner commander jedi! Did you find those on Brickipedia? Peppermint M is right that it's hard to make anything out from the preliminary pictures (especially the Werewolf, who's mostly covered by the 'Confidential' watermark, but he actually looks pretty good to me. He gets the new Wolverine claws in tan with prints, and, from what I can make out, a head/helmet similar to the one from the original Studios line. Anyway, I'm sure he'll look better once we have hi-res pictures of the sets.

"I'll have to agree with you there. We've done quite a bit of damage to the infantry units by now, so I think we should probably move on to the cavalry that's scaling the walls. I think I'll probably use the healing staff on Elgar, but if Cronk has other plans for me, then I'm willing to listen." -
Oh, that's right! I had completely forgotten about that guy. Well, seeing such a nice picture of him again makes me want swamp creature set even more! Although I'm pretty sure he was holding a brown spear in the set, not an Atlantis trident. Oooh, sounds good! I look forward to seeing pictures of it! You've got a point; there's no reason for them to be redesigning the figures (especially the mad scientist and the vampire) since they've got recent ones, but I just can't see LEGO putting a full collectible minifigure in a set. A musketeer hat in PotC or a potion vial in a Friends set, but a whole figure? Another reason why I doubt that is because the Vampiress figure has the same face as Dracula from the original Studios line, and I think there's a very low chance of them reusing a face after about 10 years. One more thing I noticed about 9468 (Vampire Castle) is that it includes some of those brick-faced bricks in light gray! I believe it's supposed to be Igor, but it looks kind of like a zombie to me. Also, does he have the same face as the Neomodian Viceroy from the Separatist Shuttle set?

System of a Down today! Right now I'm listening to BYOB, but I've been listening to Soldier Side, Chop Suey, Toxicity, and Ariels on and off all day.

Well, I don't know about everybody else, but I personally love this line! It seems very reminiscent of the Studios Horror line, and it definitely looks like something LEGO would have released int he 90's. Here are my thoughts on each set: 9461 (Creature from the Black Lagoon): Finally, a swamp monster! I'll definitely be picking this set up, if only to get him! 9462 (Mummy): I think this set gets a 'meh' at best. It's a fine set, but there's nothing really spectacular about it. Hopefully what will change after these are finalized. 9463 (Werewolf): I love the vintage feel of the car - it keeps with the old Studios line very well! That werewolf is beauty as well; a new molded head (mask?) and printed Wolverine claws! 9464 (Vampire): A hearse! I love it! By the looks of the car, it's very well made, even in the preliminary stages! That's always a good sign. I also like the look they gave that monster hunter with the bowler hat and the foil (I've been hoping for a plain gray bowler hat since the Short Clown came out). 9466 (Mad Scientist): This is a pretty nice set, too. Not a fan of the vehicle (although it doesn't seem to be at a very flattering angle in the picture), but the lab looks great! I'm sure these sets will be even more appealing once the Collectible Minifigure placeholders are removed. 9467 (Ghosts): Very interesting looking vintage-train there! I'm not the biggest train fan (although this isn't a conventional train), I might still have to pick this one up. 9468 (Vampiress): Without a doubt my favorite set from the theme. The car and castle are both really nice-looking (I can't wait to see an interior for the castle!), and that Vampiress figure looks incredible. All in all, this is an amazing theme! I might even have to do the unthinkable and miss out on a few LotR sets so I can pick these up! 'Tis a good day for LEGO enthusiasts!
