  1. Okay then. I guess the investigator just got inverted results.
  2. I'm confused as hell about this whole mirror cloak business. I'm just going to spell it all out again here to clarify it for myself and others. Goofy put a mirror cloak over Mehmet last night to protect him. The mirror cloak inverses all actions. When Inspector Gadget targeted him, his track action turned into a watch action, thus why Mehmet was seen targeting Fitzdef. However, then why didn't Inspector Gadget see Mehmet also 'targeting' Papa Smurf, Goofy, and Fitzdef's investigator? Maybe, since the tracker action can only see one player being targeted (except in the case of hijacker actions and such), one is picked at random, or, more likely, whoever is listed as first in the night turns. For example, blocker goes before killer, watcher before protector, etc. So, if Papa Smurf, Fitzdef's investigator, and Goofy were listed on the night list after Fitzdef, then they wouldn't show up to the tracker. Get it? Now, if Goofy was the one who put the cloak on Mehmet, then it makes sense that his action wouldn't be messed with. However, what happened to Papa Smurf's protection action? Did it turn into a killing action that failed because of protection? Did it turn into a blocking action? Did Papa Smurf end up protecting himself? Does the cloak only mess up informative actions? I have a hunch that if the cloak inverses actions, then each action has a specified inverse. For example: Protector (targets self) Tracker (turns into watcher but only sees first person on list) Investigator (gets insane results) etc. etc. Fitzdef's investigator targeted Mehmet last night, and got a Cultist result. Is this true? Fitzdef, are you completely sure your investigator said it was Cultist and not Not Town? It's easy to mix the two up. If the investigator gets Cultist and Not Cultist readings, then the cloak simply inversed his result, making him see that Mehmet is Cultist instead of Not Cultist. That's pretty straightforward. However, there's still the issue of Mr. Fitzdef targeting Mehmet. How can this be!? Fitzdef completely denies targeting Mehmet. So either A. the whole cloak things is megablocking nuts and it fucks up all the results it gets makes them all random B. Mehmet is a cultist, and Fitzdef has an action he doesn't want outed, or C. Mehmet is town, and Fitzdef is scum and was framing him last night. Ugh, my brains are melting out my ears. While lynching another virgin would be very bad, lynching an important power role is pretty bad too. Why would the tracker or protector lie this early in the situation? It would just backfire on them. This cloak is obviously to blame here. Did Fitzdef's investigator say he 'thinks' he you are a Cultist? If that's the case, then the cloak must confuse everyone.
  3. You silly filly! Wait, the Hub has B:TAS? I can't believe I didn't notice that before! Methinks my mind has been on ponies for a bit too long.
  4. Mellifluous, Captain Roger has claimed a role that can be very useful to the camp. And you want to lynch him for that!? Sure, I was suspicious of him at first because of his stupid idea about random voting as well, but I'm willing to listen to him if his role claim is for real. Also, you're the only person who seems to still have any problem with Captain Roger. If he was scum, there's a very good chance that the people who are organizing things behind the scenes would have brought up his name already today. Use your head, Mellifluous! Mehmet is right - his story sounds pretty convoluted. I just don't feel comfortable with voting him out. Maybe it's gut feeling, and we all know how those always turn out, but I think he's innocent. I just can't see any other options for today.
  5. Maybe Derpy's a good luck charm? (although she was in Hearth's Warming Eve as well, and that episode was 'meh' at best.)
  6. I suppose that's true. Hell, if CPR Doctors exist in other holes in the desert, then I guess it isn't too much of a stretch for there to be a framer/protector mashup out there. Especially, like you said, if there's a perfectly fine protector (or two) out there. I'm wracking my brain, but I can't seem to come up with an idea of why you were seen targeting Fitzdef. Maybe he was really seen targeting you? But how can that be? He's a virgin, and the virgins are vanilla. I think I need to take a break. This game situation is driving me insane.
  7. That's true, I had forgotten about when they said that early on in the episode. Anyways, levitating unicorns are now canon!
  8. Your title needs to be K-Nut. XD

  9. What kind of a tracker/investigator gets results like 'I think'!? I think you were probably framed, Mehmet. Either that or somebody messed with Inspector Gadget's results. That makes sense. I don't think it's a particularly fair role, but it makes sense. I can understand if the cloak made you come up as scum, but why would the cloak show that you targeted Fitzdef? I'm very confused. So, where does this leave us? Should we lynch Mehmet to test the investigator (or the cloak, or whatever), or should we let him live even though there's a guilty result on him? I think there's a very good chance that he was framed, but then again, this is Mehmet we're talking about here, and like many others have said, he's a crafty one. What does everybody else think?
  10. Wait, what? I hope I'm not the only one who's completely and utterly confused here? I don't think you're allowed to investigate a dead person.
  11. That's true. I really hope that's the case, because if it's not, then the town blocker, vigilante, Superman (whatever the hell that is ), and plenty of other roles are useless, because they're all known by the scum. That's for sure. I think we're in for another pissing match.
  12. Of course I read it. I'm not Pie. I was just explaining why I said what I said in the first place. That's all.
  13. I agree, the episode was great!
  14. I never suspected that you were scum trying to reveal the scum winning condition to everybody on Day 1, I was just commenting on the fact that it's actually confirmed now. Chill. What the hell have you been smoking, Mellifluous!? If he gives us his results, then it will only benefit the cultists! Judging by the wording of his reply to you, he's found a virgin, and if that's true, then outing that virgin in the day thread will get him/her killed! Think, Mellifluous, think! His role claim doesn't make him town, but it does make it worthwhile to give him the benefit of the doubt. WHAT!? Damn it, I really hope that investigator is insane/paranoid (or Mehmet was framed - after all the attention he attracted in the day thread yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if he was), because if Mehmet is really a cultist, then our power roles are in trouble. Of course. If this investigator is for real (and even more so if he's not), then he would have no reason to lie to you. I'm just having a hard time believing that Mehmet is actually scum.
  15. Chris Owen here and ready to begin!
  16. Oh, hey I'm the first reserve here! I guess this thread got buried under all the Heroica and Curse of IMHOTEP threads. This looks great already, Hinck! I look forward to watching it unfold.
  17. I don't think the cultists would risk that, unless of course they could win by lynching one more virgin. So I guess that means that we absolutely need to vote on the later days to prevent the cultists from pulling something tricky at the end of the day. Although, we certainly do not want to be on the defensive, because that just makes it easier for the cultists to roll over us. Oh my God. Bizarro is an 'evil' superman. William probably meant that Superman could very well be lying. Seriously!? It's an easy enough mistake to make, but still, that kind of stupidity is exactly what the town (camp?) doesn't need. Hold your horses, Jen. Superman may be an idiot, but that doesn't automatically make him scum. Yes, Tomato was lynched for much less than that, but remember, Tomato didn't didn't claim an action (as far as I know). If he had, there would have been a lot more to consider before we voted him off.
  18. Well, like Mehmet said, it was certainly better than lynching someone who could be helpful to us (like Captain Goodenharde). Although I do wonder just how many virgins the cultists have to sacrifice to win. Do they just need to kill all virgins, or is there a specific number or something? You've got a point, Johnny. Normally in situations like these the quiet vanillas are the useless and generally expendable ones, but we're going to have to be extra careful to keep both virgins and Nocturnal Skillers alive. I suppose that's why Ossie and Is aren't forcing a lynch every day.
  19. Damn it, Tomato was not only an innocent, but a virgin, too! And poor Percy! Well, now at least we know that Mr. Fitzdef was right about the cultists' win condition. I agree with Mellifluous, that was probably the cultists' kill.
  20. I think I have to agree with Batbrick on this one; it's definitely the sonic rainbooms. Great points, Batbrick! I think the Flash animation style fits the show's attitude perfectly, and makes it so much more adorable than it would have been with 3D animation. The animators pay very close attention to detail, and their hard work shows. The episodes are always so colorful and fun, and every aspect of the animation is very unique (apart from all the Lyra clones! ). Plus, all the musical numbers are absolutely amazing, thanks to Daniel Ingram, the show's musical composer. My personal favorites are Becoming Popular (The Pony Everypony Should Know), Winter Wrap Up, Art of the Dress, and At the Gala. Also, the whole team is very in-touch with the brony fanbase. Like you said, they add lots of great references (Apart from The Big Lebowski ponies in 'The Cutie Pox', there's also been the "The punch has been Spiked!" in 'Owl's Well that Ends Well' and the BTAS type posters for Mare-Do-Well in 'The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well'), and Lauren Faust herself answers the fans' questions on her DeviantArt page (although she's no longer technically part of the team). I'm sure nobody expected the brony fanbase to exist, or for it to be this large, but the FiM team has really embraced the community. Yes, but sonic rainbooms cause 20% less property damage. I guess it's a trade-off... Meh, there will always be haters. We'll just have to love and tolerate them.
  21. I have to agree with Scorpiox here. XD (Although it isn't much easier for me to take myself seriously with a pony avatar!)

  22. "I will attack Mercenary Captain from the front row!" OOC: I don't think I have any potions left.
  23. Hey, good to see you back, Etzel! I'm glad you're alright!
  24. Love the Dashie "Deal with it" avatar! XD (The Twilight hoofpalm was great too).

  25. Wow, that thing is gorgeous! Thank you so much for the pics, Mikey26! It would make sense. I hope it only goes to 180 USD instead of 200, but I suspect it'll be 200.
