  1. It wasn't a night action, it was a day action.
  2. Oh, please. Really, though, I had to claim my role or get lynched. That's what I figured.
  3. I actually thought he was claiming to have a guilty on me; I felt the need to claim because I would have been lynched otherwise. Apparently, though, he was just screwing with me. Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have lied, but really, if I hadn't, I could very well be dead right now. If Oscar's scum, he'd want to get rid of someone like me ASAP. And claiming to have an action and then refusing to claim to action is just asking to get shot. I already told you, I sent in my action last night, and when I woke up this morning, Oscar had brought out his "results" against me. I didn't have my results until after I saw the bandwagon, what's so hard to understand about this?
  4. Figures you should try this BS as soon as I get my result. Ah, well, I suppose this makes it all the more fun, right? I've always loved the feeling of facing off against a formidable enemy. Now, let's get started disproving you. *cracks knuckles* So, we know Bunsen's result yesterday was correct as he was a key player in yesterday's dilemma and Matilda flipped scum, but is it so correct today? No, it's not, seeing as he "found me to be scum" when I know that I'm 100% town. But how can this be? Was I framed? Probably not. Oscar's right about one thing, they'd definitely go for Katie with framing (that is, if Katie wasn't one of them ). But really, they wouldn't frame me. I've been careful enough to not be seen as a PR. Could Bunsen be paranoid/insane? Possible paranoid, but definitely not insane. But didn't Bunsen get a town result once? Rules out paranoid. Am I a miller? No, I don't think so, unless God attached a miller attribute to a PR, which is incredibly unlikely. So, that rules it all out - the result must be legit... right? No, not right. You see, I'm a member of the town and proud to be one. Why on earth would a seemingly legitimate investigator find me to be scum? Generally, in my experience, Town =/= Scum. So there must be some other explanation, right...? Well, here it is: OSCAR IS THE CULT LEADER. Shocking, yes, but it's like they say, the truth is shocking. Now, how did I come to this conclusion, you ask? "Tammy, don't tell us you're just suspecting him because he said he got a guilty on you!!" Don't worry, sweet villagers, that's not the case at all. I actually found out about Oscar being the CL right before he claimed the result on me. Hilarious that he decided to crusade against me as soon as I got the result. I suppose maybe his team role copped me or tracked me and found that I wasn't exactly what I said I was. Oscar,do you really think I was telling the truth about my role? That's hilarious. No, do you want to know what my real role is? I'm sure you're all on the edges of your seats. I am the mortician. "Tammy, what's a mortician? " I'm glad you asked, good citizen. I don't know about other games, but in this game, I'm the mortician. My action is to, once per game, during the day, after voting has started, investigate one dead player and find out their role and affiliaton. Now, what good is this, I thought to myself after receiving my role PM. What on earth could I do with this? But then it hit me. The scum must have a janitor, and I'm the only one who can challenge that janitor. Why did I lie, you ask? Simply because I didn't trust Oscar as far as I could throw him and wanted to keep my action a secret. I knew the scum would use their janitor action eventually, and when they did, it would be incredibly vital for me to be able to see through it and grab the truth. On Day 2 or so, Oscar approached me saying that an investigator had gotten a scum result on me. Thinking that I'd be lynched/killed to test the results of a paranoid/insane cop, I freaked out because the last thing I wanted was for town to lose my valuable action. In that moment of panic, I slipped up and told Oscar that I had an action. From that point on, I had to lie to Oscar to keep my action hidden from him and his scummy pals. Now, I actually make a hobby of creating and balancing setups, and frankly, it was obvious that Rowlf was the only blocker in the game. That's why I claimed to be the blocker who blocked Jimmy; that was obviously the work of the scum blocker and a claim I could hide behind while I waited for some confirmation on things. I suppose that Oscar could be scum, and I was claiming the action of one of his scummates, so that's why he's leading the crusade on me: he knew I was lying and had something much more powerful up my sleeve. Well, this morning, I'm sure we all saw what Shadell flipped. Unknown, right? Obviously the work of a janitor. Since there was so much controversy about the Shadell thing, I figured it'd be best to use my one-shot now, although it was likely that the scum had other janitor actions due to my action being there and being one shot (what's the point of a janitor if a mortician can combat it immediately?), so when voting started I sent out my action to investigate Shadell and went to bed. This morning, when I woke up, I found that Shadell was the Town Cult Hunter. There can not be two town vests. Honestly, I must admit, I'm not entirely sure if Oscar's scum or cult, but either way, the jig is up. "But wait, Tammy, how does this make you any less guilty? " Isn't it obvious, loyal townie? Bunsen is on the same team as Oscar, whether it be scum, cult, third party scum, whatever. Actually, third party scum seems pretty likely. Anyways... This could mean one of two things: 1. Bunsen/Oscar are on a team and have another shot with their janitor, so they figure it'd be best to get rid of a potential threat (a.k.a. me). In fact, Bunsen might not actually be real. 2. Oscar is the CL and culted Bunsen last night after Shadell cleared him and is getting one last person lynched for a cult victory. If this is the case, then I'm sorry, but I can't allow myself to be lynched. Vote: Oscar (Hinckley) If Oscar is scum, then yeah, I can be lynched, that's fine. I've served my purpose and caught Oscar red-handed. However, if he's cult, there's no way in hell I'm letting myself die for a cult victory. I realize how many of you are going to believe him on this matter, and that's realy a shame, but I suppose I've earned it by lying. Whatever. I just have to hope that Oscar's scum and not cult, or if he's cult, he's playing a weird-megablocks gambit. In any case, I have a busy day ahead of me, so I won't be back for a few hours. Good luck, sweet village.
  5. Alright, cool, that's one thing taken care of. Honestly, Penny hasn't done jack shit at all this game, but I'm a bit wary of lynching her due to the fact that Matilda called her out D1. I mean, sure, it's possible that Matilda saw that a Penny lynch wasn't going to happen and voted accordingly just to distance, but I really have a hard time seeing it. Still, she's literally sitting around doing nothing, not even sheeping blindly. Same with Katie, although more intense. Would scum really defy each other like that? It's true that, if one of them was lynched, it would "clear" the other one, but still, it's an incredibly risky plan, especially with someone like Oscar who likes to verify everything. Either way, I think we should do just that - verify her. Can't hurt, right? And plus, it'll clear two townies, right? At the moment, I'd probably be inclined to lynch any of these: Patty: Not for the asterisks, for the record. However, her participation has been subpar; she should be investigated at least. Dave: This one's self-explanatory. He's been super scummy all game from all his overreactions. IIRC, he did use his lunch for the town, but that still means nothing; I have no doubt that scum would do that to appear town. Ginny: Same as Patty; she's done nothing, yet hasn't been FoS'd by a known scum like Penny has (has she...?) Billie: I actually forgot she was here for a second. She was voted by Fred D1, right? Since then she's been incredibly under the radar, though, and she's not usually like this so much. She's another good target for kill/lynch/investigation. Sara: Although she's always like this (), I think Sara is probably scum. Like with Dave, the fact that she used her lunch for the town means nothing - lunches are minor things. Cece and Carl are up there too, but less so due to their participation being a bit more in-depth.
  6. Have to agree with you there, Mello and Near just didn't have it. And yeah, Mikami's my favorite. I've been meaning to watch FAB at some point; never really got around to it I guess. Is it any good, despite being childish? And yeah, there's a lot in the anime world; I only really got into it a few months back, so even I don't know all that much.
  7. This guy. It's hilarious how you think I'm scum with Katie when I've been one of the ones pushing hardest for her lynch almost all game. Keep flailing, scumbag.
  8. Mmm, I agree. The only thing about this case that seemed a bit weird to me is that, at least according to Daisy, it's Katie vs. Daisy. I was pretty convinced of Katie's guilt before, but the fact that she also turned out to be Dr. Teeth makes me want to lynch her that much more. Although, tbh, one of them is probably innocent, and since we know Daisy's scum, we can deduce that Katie and her sibling are probably both town. Still, I'd like to see what each of them flip. And Oscar, it's Appeal to Emotion. Sorry, I forgot how much you hated acronyms. In short, it's an excuse to not give a real defense, an excuse I've used frequently in the past.
  9. Daisy, I understand you're angry, but being a complete megablock isn't going to help your case. Although it's not like you have any case at all. Your only defense to the accusations is blatantly bad AtE and insistence against his results. You're not even trying to claim a role that corresponds with a mustache and glasses. How have you "worked so hard"? What have you done for the town? Because unless you back that up with actual instances where you've helped, it's just more bad AtE. You say Oscar has either "intentionally or unintentionally set you up" - how the hell would he "unintentionally" set you up? "Oh dear, I've used my last lunch on Daisy and I found the wrong items! Whatever shall we do!?" I see no reason for the day vig not to shoot Scuba today. And my Scuba I of course mean Daisy. Sorry, God.
  10. Double post: Could this be what was in Shadell's chest? Free as a bird? Yes? No? More importantly, who on earth would keep a canary in a chest?
  11. Unfortunately, it's not that easy. If there's a cult, that cult can convert every night, unless God did something screwy with their conversion. There have been 3 nights, and of course there was one CL (who may have been Shadell, tbh...), so that makes them roughly 4 strong at the moment, and they'll keep getting stronger. But then again, maybe Shadell was scum and she came up with the cult claim to scare us before having herself be janitored? God, we really need someone to verify these things.
  12. Ah, yes, good point, Amy. I've always been bad with colors. In a little bit I'll go through the directories of everything in that orangeish color (let's hope I got it right. ) and see if anything matches
  13. Awesome. Even if we don't know Shadell's affiliation, we're still able to chase down scum piggies. Shall the day killer do his work, then? Yeah, there was definitely something in Shadell's chest. There was also a nice looking poster on the bed. I see a 1x2 pink tile? Can anyone make out what the rest is?
  14. What the hell? Did the scum janitor Shadell? Or is she the cult leader and her affiliation can't be revealed? I personally find the former a lot more likely, although it doesn't help us at all. So, this presents several possibilities: 1. Shadell is scum, she was janitored to incrinimante Oscar 2. Shadell is of a second scum team who want to keep their presence unkown 3. Shadell is the cult leader and her affiliation can't be revealed/the cult has a janitor ( ) 4. Shadell is town/indepedent and was janitored to make her look like scum (that's how janitors are used most, tbh) Is there a mortician or anything around? It'd be really cool if we could get a mort to verify through the janitor.
  15. Ahahaha This is golden. Theory: There aren't actually any siblings; Dr. Teeth and Statler are scumbuddies who made up the story to try to get confirmed as town. Looks like they blew that, though. Oink oink, piggies!
  16. Honestly, I don't know. In that case it'd be big 4, but that's too much. This setup is confusing as hell. I generally find those sorts of things to be huge towntells. But then again, I've been practicing these situations in an environment much different from ours, so it makes sense that I would. I have to admit, the regular investigators getting town on the CL seems a bit far-fetched, and that thing about the daykiller reeks as well. Both of these are big scumtells, although the second is worse. If she's scum, she does need you to stay a scapegoat, and killing you would prevent that. That's a really, really good point. Yeah, you know what, it's between Oscar and Shadell today, and there's no way I'm going to vote for Oscar, so Vote: Shadell (Shadows) A majority's been reached anyway.
  17. Alright, here I am, now let's see if I can sift through all this chatter. Actually, that sounds rather plausible, as we do seem to have a lot of actions. I seem to remember an egyptian dream in which the godfather was untouchable as well... I don't get where Beeker comes in, though. Since he's the hider, he can't be targeted, right? Did Shadell target Beeker or am I mixed up here? Tbh, I'm still really lost. Just for clarification, is this how it went down: 1. Shadell investigates Beeker and gets "not cult" but gets that Beeker was hiding behind someone 2. Shadell investigates Bunsen and gets "not cult" yet somehow finds Matilda? 3. Matilda claims to be a watcher who watched Bunsen 4. Bunsen checks out Matilda and gets a scum result ? Wait, there's a governer? Since when? This is what makes me most uneasy about this situation. Oscar, I've made it pretty clear that Shadell is as obviously independent as it gets; why can't there be a townie with a vest, an independent with a vest, and a cult leader with a vest? I've experimented with dream setups and foun that "big three" vests seem to work fairly well. Why would you offer to be lynched? If you're town, you know you're town and should not be offering to be lynched, especially when there is nothing to 'confirm' you as CL other than the claim that there can't be more than two vests. Now, admittedly, if Shadell flips town, then yeah, there's a fairly good chance that you're the CL, but why would you offer to be lynched still? However, at the same time, yeah, why wouldn't Shadell bring forward Matilda earlier? He did get some sort of damning result on her, yes? Did he tell any of you? Shadell, did you tell anyone about your result on Matilda early on in the day? This is one thing that makes me wary of Shadell - she never seems to be on the defensive, even when she is, and every time she replies to you (or anyone else, for that matter), she seems to make perfect sense... even when she doesn't. I'm the one not making sense at this point.
  18. Ok, this is a lot to catch up on, and I have to get going to groom Danny in a few, so I'll make this quick. Right now I most want to lynch Dave for his constant overreactions and his admittance of writing up his post in a word processor. Not a town move at all. But since there seems to be a lot of controversy over votes and unvotes, I think I'll save my vote until I'm sure of who I'm voting for. I still think Shadell is legitimate and independent. The jailkeeper thing guarantees that she's unblockable, so she's cult leader or cult hunter. I do realize how likely Shadell is to claim cult hunter as cult leader, but a cult is generally a completely unbalancing role to put in these situations - having a badass cult hunter go after them makes perfect sense. I don't really get why everyone seems to think that Oscar is the cult leader just because he has the vest - surely if he were cult he wouldn't admit that he had the vest? But still it's unnerving how much he's putting into Shadell being scum - Oscar, I've already made it clear that she can't be scum. Why insist on it? If Oscar's cult, then he's sure as hell going to want to get rid of his arch enemy, the cult hunter. Plus, this I just don't know what to make of this. Oscar's not one to give up as nontown, but I have to admit, there's something definitely fishy going on here... Gah, I can't make sense of anything. I'll be back later.
  19. Wasn't it one of the horses who used the asterisks? I have no objections to lynching Sara, though, or Dave or Katie for that matter. I don't see the asterisks as damning, though.
  20. Alrighty, cool, Janice is taken care of; now the question is whether or not to trust Shadell. Her claim is pretty ridiculous, yet somehow makes sense - if the jailkeeper jailkept her, she would have no doubt had her action blocked if she was some sort of sick scummo; why would she claim that her action worke perfectly? I see no reason for any action to be unblockable, but that seems like the inevitable to me. Or am I missing something? Another thing to note - since Oscar claims to be a bulletproof too, there's a high chance that, if Shadell really is the cult investigator, she's independent and her only win condition is to kill the cult leader. Still, a cult is a big problem since there are no limits to its conversion power (not usually, at least), so I think we should at least give her a chance. Maybe verify her via investigation? Can she even be investigated?
  21. I think he's saying that he doesn't suspect those who voted outside the bandwagon yesterday.
  22. Honestly, I think the chance of Jimmy being scum is pretty high. It's not just that he was blocked, his behavior has been incredibly jumpy lately, especially yesterday after there was no kill. My theory is that he's scum and his team's bad luck shook him up. Well then, that makes this easier. Who's Janice, then?
  23. While I haven't yet seen Baccano!, I'm currently a little over halfway through DRR and loving it. Although, I must admit, I'm more of a Celty fan (Shizuo too). Other good animes are Kuroko no Basuke, Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (although it's very shoujo), Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night, and Mirai Nikki (although it's absolutely horrible, there's still a lot of watchablitity to it.
  24. I'm lost. So, let me get this straight, Scooter is a cult-hunting-snake-wielding-psychologist who claims to be untouchable... Why is it that I have a hard time believing that? And then there's also Janice, who has some sort of watching action or something who was guiltied by a day investigator who also got an innocent report on the hider? I don't get it at all. If, by some miracle, I'm not bumbling nonsense at this point, then both of these people should be killed/lynched today.
