Players only, please! August 25th, 2005 New Brickland, Florida 10:38 P.M. As the sun goes down on another bloody Day, the Malone family gathers once again to listen to their patriarch... It had been over 72 hours since the incident had been introduced by Tam Malone, and already the family was down 4 members, leaving only 14 at the nightly meeting... However, this didn't stop them from their usual antics. Cap'n Rolfe and Cebastian Lillium both hit off the night by hitting on Candy. "Yo, babe, the Cap'n knows you's an in-de-pen-dant broad, but don' yous want a manager? Dial my digits, a'ight babe??" Rofle attempts to pick up Candy - albeit as more of a product than of a companion. "Woah-hoh, there, baby doll!" Cebastian follows up, "Are you a parking ticket, 'cause you got fi~ine written all over you! Literally, your lower back says "fine". Is that like a way of keeping track of the people in your line of work? Like, with those little tags on ducks?" "I'm going to break both of your megablocking necks." Candy answers back at them. To be honest, though, it's not really clear why Cebastian is hitting on her. He'd have much better luck with a $100 bill. Seriously proud of himself for some reason, Doğukan is celebrating the occasion by dressing up as some sort of British admiral. Or something like that. He looks ridiculous either way. "What's going on!?? Am I dead!?!?! Help me!!" Bernard screams at the crowd. He seems to have just woken up from a really long nap. Addressing the crowd now, Tam once again begins to speak. "I have had just about enough of your daily idiocy. Because of your incompetence, another family member is dead. When I told you to lynch people, I didn't mean Malones, because that's what Byron was. Shane Donalds and Jamie Neville also met unfortunate ends over the last 24 hours. Both were also Malones. Things are not looking good for us." "Now, allow me to demonstrate what happens when you cross this family. This bus driver is the one who hit Jamie Neville early today - leading to her unfortunate death." Tam says, turning to the bruised bus driver. "Wait, no! I didn't mean to! Someone cut the brake line while I was getting lunch - I tried to stop when I saw the woman, but I couldn't!!" the bus driver protests wildly, knowing that he's fighting for his life here. "What do I care?" Tam demands, "You killed one of my people, and the rest of the family is too busy twiddling their thumbs to catch the people who are actually out to kill them. I need to blow your head off to scare them." Tam wasn't joking about that. The poor bus driver falls to the ground, his head a pile of blood on the ground. Tam's poor assistant drops the headless corpse, screaming in terror. In hindsight, this guy was a terrible choice for a hitman. "I hope this experience has been educational for everyone." Tam says, turning his head to the crowd once again. "I expect a Ferrari's head on my desk by tomorrow." Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Malones or the Ferraris. To win the game, theMalones must eradicate all threats to the family, while the Ferraris needs to outnumber all other players. Third Parties have their own win conditions, which are outlined in their role PMs. 2. Each night you will be able to vote to execute a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. 3. A game Night (equivalent of a Day) will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The Night will end after the full 72 hours, even if a unanimous vote has been reached beforehand. After the Night has concluded, a Day (equivalent of Night) Phase will commence, which will last 48 hours. A day thread will be posted, and will be closed once the Day phase is over. If you receive a night action, please send it to me during the timeframe which I specify for you. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the Day/Night, will be revealed at the beginning of the following Night (e.g., someone who is lynched on Night 1's affiliation will be revealed on Night 2, while someone who was killed during Day 2's affiliation will also be revealed at the start of Night 2 - even if they died in the middle of the Day.) 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to or from you in PM with the game host. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Coming back from her lunch break, Jamie Neville (jamesn) stands on the curb, waiting to cross the street, where she's going to be conducting another interview. She's brought along her trusty microphone - for luck! Suddenly, a dark figure in a tuxedo addresses her, "Hey, aren't you Jamie Neville??" it asks, "Woah, I'm one of your biggest fans!" "Ahaha, of course, my loyal peasant." Jamie says, brushing herself off, "I do get that a lot from your kind." "Here, I have an extra Financial Times." says the figure, "Why don't you have it? I know you like that sort of thing - you could even read it while you cross the street!" "Why, that's a splendid idea!" Jamie replies. Stepping off the curb, Jamie begins to read her paper... "Bye-bye, now!" the figure yells after her before laughing a quiet "Hyahaha!" to itself. "Wait, why am I reading this while crossing the street?" Jamie wonders aloud, "That's dangerous!!" The oily coast guard officer runs around frantically, looking into the water to see if there are any more corpses to collect, while the motorcycle cop who was called here for seemingly no reason hides her disgust behind a pair of shades. Of course, why wouldn't she be disgusted? Byron's dead eyes seem to stare into your soul, his mouth poised, ready to, at any minute, yell "Poof!" Dexter turns to Tam, unsure of what to think about this new development. However, as soon as he turns back around, Byron disappears in another cloud of smoke. This "Poof" wasn't as dramatic, however... It was still in Comic Sans, though! Unfortunately for Byron, it seems he miscalculated - landing him in the very bay he had tried to avoid. "Wait, help!" he wails, struggling to stay afloat, "I can't swim! Save me! I didn't mean to call you morons... really!" "Meh, good enough." After breaking into the local ice cream shop for a late night sweet treat, Shane Donalds (Shadows) walks out into the New Brickland Shopping Plaza, the light of the streetlamp his only guide. "Man, it's weird how much I'm craving sugar lately... Must be the copious amounts of dope I do on a regular basis. Hyahaha!" "I'm so cool." Satisfied with himself, Shane turns around and walks toward the boardwalk. Unfortunately, he doesn't notice the not-so-dark figure behind him... Well, he does, but it's too late.
