  1. A winner is me, and I'm on the calendar! Thanks CopMike and the rest of the staff/admins of EB!! Oh, I'm in a good mood now!
  2. I don't have 10188 yet, but oh yes, it will be mine.* *at some point in the future, when I can rationalize it.
  3. Mostly, my unopened sets are just those that I haven't built yet. I don't have the room or the time, or I don't want to take something apart that's built now so I can put up something else. I have sold sealed sets in the past, either because my interest in a theme cooled off, or I needed the money. I had a few Batman sets, opened the Batwing (which is one of my favorites) and eventually sold the others, because of the reasons above. I had several of the first clone and droid battlepacks. I sold them later for just over MSRP, because I wanted the newer BPs.
  4. Ok, I'll start combing Bricklink now - maybe I'll do a Quatro/Duplo/LEGO entry!
  5. It follows the rules - there only have to be two LEGO parts in the MOC. DUPLO is LEGO, and all of those LEGO animals are DUPLO. (note to self, make entry for next year with QUATRO, really make em howl!) (edit: only one T in the quatro name, verified by checking Bricklink)
  6. Peace on Hoth, goodwill towards Men (and Wampas), but after last year's disastrous attempt at delivering gifts, resulting in the loss of several elves, maimed reindeer, and significant sleigh damage, Santa enlists some local Rebel help (and his fishing tackle) to make the deliveries smoother this year.
  7. Don't say that too loud, LEGO will hear you and respond accordingly. Last thing we need is a bunch of battle droid parts passed off as the deck trim on the Time Cruisers 2 Super Explorer, piloted by figs with young Anakin heads, freckles and all. As for 10221, I am sure I won't be getting this one due to lack of display space and cost.
  8. If LEGO knows what is good for them, there will be a 60s Batmobile in the works. I would buy that in an instant.
  9. You didn't specify. If I get additional information, I'll be sure to pass it on.
  10. Oky, those are all the pictures I have been sent. I was asked to post them here and on a couple of other sites. If I am asked to post others, I will do so. I have no other information about these or any other LEGO products.
  11. Well, the one being given out is final. That doesn't mean the Green Lantern minifig in sets will be the same. Oh, and note that I'm just posting the pics for meat1980, and am not lucky enough to be at SDCC right now. :(
  12. I'm sure some, if not all of them, are still in the prototype stage. If anything, I'd expect them to look better closer to retail. Notice that Green Lantern isn't in the display at all.

  14. I have 6209 and don't intend to get 8097. I think the new one is good for those who don't have a Slave I and want one, but it's not necessary for those who have 6209.
  15. I'm ok with Winnie the Pooh. My kids like Pooh and would happily add him to their Duplo collection.
  16. That 7676 auction is up to $76 and the seller wants $30.00 to ship to the US. No longer a cheap find.
  17. I caved and bought 10178 Motorized AT-AT. I know other people say 8129 is better, but I've always wanted this set and decided it was time, especially with extra VIP points from LEGO. I know they're using that as a chance to dump their old stock, but even that didn't sway me towards 8129, which I can always pick up later.
  18. finally built his 4504 Millennium Falcon the other day and is pleased with the results

  19. Looks like I can save some more money in the first half of 2011 as well. I don't have a lot of interest in the current new offerings, barring possibly the new AT-AT and the Wampa Attack. I'm holding out hope that LEGO will announce a new SW set at Celebration V in Orlando this weekend. edit: forgot to add that it's a shame about the Battle of Naboo being yet another battle droid fest. I'd have liked to see a new Padme.
  20. Picked up a Venator for 50% off ($60) at my local Target.
  21. Maybe it's a single chest hair. This set looks decent, but I'm still thinking about buying the motorized version so I can scare the cat and possibly my kids too. Of course, knowing my 2 year old daughter, she'd probably try to ride the thing.
  22. Good idea and build, but I have one slight nitpick: Luke still has his right hand and he's out on the gantry. He didn't move out there until after it was cut off. Might want to have Luke hanging on by his left hand.
  23. I didn't see Chewbacca in there. He was there and tied up too.
  24. I kept looking for the shoe that's rumored to be part of the scene, but I couldn't find it. :)
  25. Impressive. Most impressive.
