When you just got Galactic Civilizations 3 and the first custom nation you make is the Octan Corporation. I spent 10 mins removing the background around President Business. Hope I'm not the only one who does that kinda thing.

Hey guys, I want to finally start collecting physical Lego and I'm not entirely sure what to get. I only have a few castle pieces left over from before the dark age but I'm more interested in City and modular Mocs and although LDD is good enough for my AG, I think it does not quite work well with my other interests. I've got £30-40ish ready to spend for now currently my shopping list is: 60044 Mobile Police Unit 31046 Fast Car 60072 Demolition Starter Set From where I buy my things that adds up to £40 and it gives me a little bit of everything. Is this the way to go? Should I start with one larger set instead? Would you guys recommend anything different? Thanks for the help in advance!

Not a huge fan of flashy speedy cars so my choice would be the Land Rover Defender! It's not economically viable nor is it in any way suited to where I live but it has a personal connection to me. My family used to own one and I have fond memories of road trips. This one looks particularly snazzy.

Although my collection is shockingly small at the time of me writing this post I want my (future) children to have it. I would want them to enjoy it and pass it down to their kids and so on. I would be okay with them selling the collection if they are desperate for the money but I would want them to seek the help of a fellow enthusiast in order to get a fair price.

Although that is one beautiful plane, I personally prefer the newer ones as the specialised pieces like the wings and the cockpit are really good. I especially like the 7734 Cargo Plane.

I'd say you should get it. It's on my wish list and from the pictures I can see, it looks really nice. The truck looks great and there is a neat forklift. The forklift can be used with other sets and Mocs and it gives you 3 minifigs. I would recommend keeping one guy with that truck, one guy on the forklift and that leaves you with another guy to build a truck Moc for. Maybe something that carries food or anything really that also has the whole forklifts ft thing going on.

It will be fun for the next mocs because I get to experiment with micro-builds and building spaceships which is something I've never really done much of. Although being a pilot would make more sense for the bonuses, it fits more in the story so I will stay as an engineer for now . The Whole Moc:

Being a huge fan, I must say the Big Bang theory set. I love the show and the level of depth that went into the set and I really want to get the set, build it and then complete the whole apartment. Maybe the whole building.

Personally, it was when I saw the Lego movie. After the song was over I started to miss Lego. That started my descent back into the hobby. I really liked that film.

Ragnos signing up as an engineer in the name of Octan. I'll be using a default sigfig for now but I'll replace him as soon as possible. EDIT: created a Sigfig that should be good for now .

I have very sweet memories of Legoland, building my dream park distracted me long enough until I could actually go to the real one. :)

Hello Eurobrick members, I have recently emerged from my dark age and I am starting to get into Lego again. I haven't even touched a brick in years and I am very happy to be part of the community. I plan to make digital Mocs to start with and slowly amass bricks over time. I would say my favourite themes are town, sci-fi and of course Star Wars. I am curious about Andromeda's Gates but I need to figure some stuff out first.
