  1. Unless they can't kill. Two nights in and no apparently scum kill. Could we be that lucky? That grammar. Baaaaaaaa-d.
  2. When I saw all of this, I wanted to take a minute to review Carly's situation before commenting, but it was such a group decision (I don't consider it a bandwagon when everyone seems to have a good reason for it) that I can't draw any definite conclusions from it. On the one hand, if she was scum as we suspected, hiding that result keeps us from feeling secure in our decision, and at the same time it hides the potential guilt of anyone who didn't vote for her. On the other hand, if she was town, it makes us assume we're on the right track and jump to wrong conclusions. In other words, we're kind of back where we were at the beginning of day 2, except we're also down a loyal townie through yet another bizarre trap. Bear traps and falling anvils? What is this, one of those documentaries I used to watch as a child, the ones where the coyote was trying to catch the road runner?
  3. Numbers are fun, I spent the whole morning trying to multiply! Baaaaaaa!
  4. *reaches in and feels around* Oh! A giant sausage! I sausage, especially big ones! Let's go home, I'm getting really ... hungry! Baaaaa haa haa! I'm gettin' a big sausage tonight! Four and a half hours? That should be just enough time! Baaaaaaa!
  5. Baa! Who doesn't love a baaaaaaaandwagon parade? Baa! Not much else to say right now. Baa! With the practically universal agreement about Carly, I can't help but feel like we've made a good decision. Baa! Bai bai!
  6. Stay tuned, we're not quite done.
  7. What browser are you using? I don't get this problem with Firefox, Opera or Chrome, but won't touch Exploder long enough to test it.
  8. The ! is my favourite part, it definitely stays. I liked it so much, I added another!
  9. You people have odd imaginations. Nope.
  10. Haha, like Draggy did anything but post the welcome message. This forum is the product of Hinck's banner, my skin, Sandy's dedicated hosting and management and what's-his-name stealing gold for his cave hoard. That about covers it. Ok, fine, before he cries acidic tears all over the place, he also moved all the Heroica posts in here, which is a lot of work for a lazy dragon.
  11. CLOWN! Oh Seamus, you animal! Bring the whip, I've been a baaaaaaa-d girl!
  12. It took a lot to read through all that, but that's what you have to do in this game of life, otherwise you make bad decisions without at least trying hard not to. I just don't see where Carly can justify voting for someone without even giving enough attention to the situation. That's a pretty scummy thing to do, or at least reckless and dangerous to this town. That's enough for me to decide, unless something much better comes along later in the day. Vote: Carly Cow (Tamamono) *falls over on the ground* Baaaaaaa-haaaaa-haaaa. Playing dead. So funny. Baaaaa. Humbug.
  13. They should know who they are, and if they attempt to avoid the subject by acting like they don't, they're just that much scummier. Being honest enough to approach the subject directly is part of the behaviour we need to analyze. BAAAAAAAAA!
  14. That's a little odd to me, given that it's likely the scum were smart enough to hide in every possible quarter, vocal, quiet, some voting for Petey, some for other people (maybe even other scum), not voting, or even changing their votes to get on or off the bandwagon (there was some of that, I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more thoroughly). Of course, there is also the point to be made that of all the people Petey suspected, you were the one he chose to vote for. Still, he didn't really try to sell that vote very hard and to me it felt more like a reaction to being voted for than an honest suspicion. That said, the thing that makes me the most suspicious isn't what people did, it's how strongly they did it. It was day 1, no one knew anything for certain (except the scum), yet there were people who vehemently baited and attacked Petey, even going so far as pointing out (repeatedly) that they were the one who first attacked and voted, people who seemed to defend him for vague or no given reasons, and people who felt strongly about other votes, but none of them quite like the situation with Petey. It was day 1, people, how can you feel strongly enough about anyone to kill them or risk your own life defending them? Petey was definitely the most suspicious of the group, but even thinking that I didn't feel like he had crossed the line into lynch territory. At the same time, I didn't feel he had defended himself enough for me to actually oppose the lynch, he just seemed like a really good target for the investigator. I can't see how anyone else reached a conclusion, and that's what gnaws at my haunches (baaaaaaaa!). I'd like to see the people who felt so strongly on either side explain how you got to that point, because it's clear to me that some of you were posturing for the sake of the discussion today, knowing that you could either shrug it off as a day 1 mistake or try to use it as a sign that you are town. Neither point is valid, so stop trying to hide behind them. If you could take a strong stand yesterday, stand up and take it today and explain yourself. The only people who knew exactly how to vote were the scum, the rest of us had to make a decision, one we may regret now (I don't regret not jumping on the bandwagon as much as I would regret if it I had), but one that we should be able to justify beyond, "aw gee, I just had a feeling." Seriously, some of you have some explaining to do and it's about time someone pointed it out.
  15. You really could use a baaaaaaaa-th.
  16. Further proof of his difficulty in spelling?
  17. Booooo, you 3 syllable monkey freak! Your face is a bad pun. And an animal sound. Freak! I assumed it wasn't a scum kill because it wasn't another sick ritual or a burning, which sounds more like their style. If it was them, you're right, it was an odd choice of targets. That makes me wonder why. Grudge? Something said yesterday? Bunny hate? Why would anyone hate bunnies, they're almost as cute as sheep! Almost. *shakes her baaaaaaaa-ckside* Wait... We know the scummy walrus wasn't killed by the scum. I doubt the bunny was killed by the scum for the above reason (method of kill). Would that confirm a serial killer? And what if the dead walrus wasn't their killer, someone out there could know something like who they protected (a possible indicator of a townie) or who they blocked (a possible indicator of scum)? This could be incredibly important information, if they know who to trust to share it with, and if it actually means what it seems to. I've always been partial to 2, personally, the mob really got taken to town, so to speak. And I felt bad for mine... Now, baaaaa-ck to our regularly scheduled program... Added: Baaaaa-ck for more! EXACTLY! It just took me a lot longer to type up.
  18. I have a baaaaaaaa-d feeling about this.
  19. I don't know, everyone always insists on a lynch the first day despite that rarely going well and having the same horrible odds, but maybe a vig could get luckier than we did. That's the same reason I don't think it's a PGO, I think a PGO would be shown in black, being creeped up on, then turning the tables and killing the scum without ever being revealed. Maybe that's being represented by making the trap black, which seems like a weird colour for one, so you could be right (and god is crazy, so...). The lack of a killing is the best justification for your theory, I'll give it that. Let's hope we really did get that lucky and the scum have lost their killer.
  20. Wow, we got lucky amidst a combination of our own failure and bad luck. I'm not sure what to make of all of it, nor am I sure why things keep coming back to fish. Fish seem very unlucky around here. Paranoid Bear Trap Owner... That's quite a large leap to make and doesn't match the style of death at all, but I guess it's possible that god is being intentionally weird in his method of presenting it. That's kind of what I thought too, seems to make more sense, and if it's true, we clearly owe a great deal of thanks to that bear hunter, or whatever they're actually called. I'm not sure about a paranoid bear trap owner, but there definitely seems to be some paranoia around here.
  21. I'll give you a hint. Look for likely 3 letter words to fill those, remove those letters from the list, then the rest sort of fall in place.
