  1. Ticket: Check! Fedora: Check! Trenchcoat: Check! Revolver: Check! Suitcase: Check! 2nd Revolver: Check! Switchblade: Check! Lock Picking Tools: Check! 3rd Revolver: Check! I think I'm ready, but I feel like I'm forgetting something ... Thompson Submachinegun: Check! All set!
  2. Titles are fun, yay! This thread is a fun place to post when you get a new title, to explain where you think it came from and just generally show it off. Yay! The next non-staff member who posts in here to blah blah about titles and how they don't want one but really do but really don't and shouldn't be posting and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah is not going to be pleased with the result. Be good!
  3. AHA! That makes a lot more sense, now. So was Widanko shot, or was the shooting the fight and Widanko killed some other way?
  4. I was wondering that myself. It's like it very suddenly went from one to the other. I also wondered how the commander ending up facing the wrong way and shooting backwards. Can we search Widanko? Maybe confirm the cause of death and look for any notes he may have made?
  5. We were promised a look in there, let's get it open!
  6. I've noticed a trend in announcing departures and returns to the forum, and honestly, they don't each need a devoted topic, so that's what we're going to do here. Going on vacation? Summer camp? Prison? Just returned from the beach? Mars? Spelunking? Whatever. This is the place to mention such things, if you really feel it necessary. As for me, I'm not going anywhere, none of you are that lucky.
  7. Ok, so 15,000 of them are numbered and it's any order. I just placed my free poster order. $80 free poster. Don't forget your .98 impulse and cheap minifig hair at PaB, it makes it a little more worthwhile. Maybe a good time to finally get that Grievous if you haven't already.
  8. Aw, that's more like it. I knew we could be friends if you'd get that stick out of your astromech. I think he's saying that Quincy doesn't look like an alien, just a hairy humanoid.
  9. I'd love to see them return, but I've heard that the molds used to make the hats are no longer available and would need to be remade in order to bring the classic line back. That's expensive, and probably not something they would be in a hurry to do. It's a shame, they would sell very well, I bet. I stated my reason for doubting they will return, do you have one or is this just speculation?
  10. Why would I need to? "The Trolly beardy pale scarred guy" isn't exactly nice. This from the girl who accused "Kark"... And I still can't imagine why you think a bearded man is another species. You know, you'd look like that if you didn't shave every day, don't think I haven't noticed your late day shadow. I'll wag your face.
  11. We're all in here, but someone slammed and locked the other door from the outside? Um... that can't be a good sign, I say we high tail it out of here before the cops show up! I want to go through that other door, once I inspect it for traps.
  12. Quincy? What's with you? Trolly? Pale? Scarred? Geez, it's a good thing I'm incredibly beautiful or you'd probably be trying to aim that wagging tongue of yours in my direction. At this point, we have no evidence against anyone, so if there are any theories, real ones, not "he's weird looking" ones, let's hear 'em! Ah, they disagreed a little, but it didn't seem like a lot. It's a bit of a stretch, but we don't have anything else. I guess. This sucks. Don't we have someone who watches the halls at night and sees things? Maybe a peeping Han?
  13. The empire doesn't like women either, so maybe someone should guard us? As for someone working behind the scenes, at this point, the only people who know anything are the spies, so she's right, there could be someone crafty out there using what information they have to try to split us up. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's happening right now. In other words, if someone is whispering in your ear, think about how they could possibly know anything that the rest of us don't. Our investigator died last night, so anyone claiming to know something is either able to speak to the dead or a spy.
  14. Seems he did, he pulled it on the commander. They both had blasters. You don't know how long I've been waiting to hear you say that!
  15. Are you sure the blaster fire wasn't Seadrik killing Jekian? Do you think someone could have killed him and gotten away that quickly, with all of you so conveniently close? And why were the commanders distracting us? He said he was a distraction, and now poor slimy is dead. We have no way to investigate and no one to tell who is loyal or not? We could look through their stuff, couldn't we? I mean, we were seriously relying on one person to determine that for us? What if he had been lying or crazy?!?!?!? I heard a story once that went like that, might have been on Dathomir, I can't remember now ... Still not sure how to get past the inability to investigate. Did anyone see something in the night? Can we look through slimy's stuff for any notes he may have made? That might be our only hope now.
  16. A grim sight... one of our brothers, even a green one, fallen in the line of duty. I guess it was in the line of duty. We could give him a medal or something, but unless he left us a note that will clear some of this up, let's just toss him in the trash compactor. Clearly his force skills weren't all that hot. Well, we're screwed now, we have no investigator and they must have someone who can kill us. At least I'm still pretty.
  17. Woohoo! Heck of a poster, heck of an idea, heck of a game, I'll bet. *gets in line at the ticket office*
  18. I thought I was in the game thread at the time, then I just said, "oh, screw it, no one would be dorky enough to complain about that." I was wrong.
  19. Correct! I suppose that means me. Poll added!
  20. We would prefer not to see that either. The only thing someone should do in that case is hit report. Even replying just pushes it back to the top and causes more people to see it. Same with dangerous links and even plain spam.
  21. Have you looked around? This is a thread based on the inability to click the right button in a row of clearly marked ones. Honestly, frequenting boards and working on one are very different things. The majority of problems that occur are only seen by a small number of people, thus it gives the appearance of not happening. Truth is, until someone sees it from this end, they have no idea what they're talking about and attempting to apply logic based on non-factual estimations of the amount of potential/real problems is pointless. Everyone can edit. Deleting is not nearly as common as you might like to believe. I'd suggest you just check the other major LEGO forums and see how many allow it. Yet everyone griped that new members shouldn't be able to PM because a very small number spammed. Instead of just deleting the spam, they complained in long threads saying, "I GOTS SPAMZORD TOO! OMG!". So there is a dual example of why sometimes people have to be restricted, and why we can't rely on maturity in all situations. If the original post was offensive, let's say pornography, and user 2 quoted it including the images, they would be in trouble for doing so. It isn't a perfect solution. Not having the button is. Plain and simple, and despite claims, I could point to forum after forum that wouldn't consider allowing people to delete their own posts. Another reason that delete is bad, people could use it to increase their post count, thus reaching new ranks. As it is, people spam for that purpose, but as long as the post still exists, we know they're doing it. If it appeared and disappeared quickly, we'd have to watch the logs constantly for something that just doesn't need to be allowed. Silly topic. Don't hold your breath, it isn't effort that prevents it from happening, and it wouldn't be any major effort.
  22. Would you like to be an admin? Then we could ban you and not tell anyone why. Then, they'll start a thread wanting to know the "whole dirty scandal" and we won't tell them about your little problem with bras. I mean, we won't tell them what happened. Then you-know-who up there can add it to his school report. Seriously, haven't you kiddies got anything better to do then stalk the userlist, find out when we add new groups or ranks and ask about people who have gone on to do other things? I'm sure they'd have already told you their life stories if they wanted them shared. Go build something and quit acting like a bunch of old gossips.
  23. The latter isn't a flaw. When regular users can delete their own posts, they play games. Example: User 1 posts something horrible in response to a thread. User 2 comes along and yells about it. User 1 deletes the post then replies that they think User 2 is being mean. User 2 looks bad. Edit is just as bad, which is why the lower ranks can't edit without it being denoted in the post. If people didn't play games, it could all be different.
  24. Great job, they really capture the difference in long face and short face, as well as the LEGO style. Do you work in a larger size and scale down, or is this the full resolution? Any chance of the heads in light flesh? As for the bowler, I've been screaming for one forever. FOREVER! My "Avengers" John Steed will never be complete without it.
  25. And girls! I haven't a clue who to vote for. Our odds would be pretty bad, so I would feel like we were being reckless if we convicted anyone today, unless someone knows something they haven't shared. I don't really think that's possible yet. I'm much more comfortable waiting for what information tomorrow may bring. I would say this, however. If you're in contact with someone by photon messenger (PM), you may want to ask yourself what that person could possibly know and if they're trying to influence you. I've heard that spies are notorious for gaining the confidence of their enemies by that method and would caution against trusting anyone yet, including me, of course. At this point, the only people who should have any information are the very spies we need to catch, and I don't think they're going to be turning themselves in to the rest of us any time soon, but they just might try to privately manipulate us. The Imperials are sneaky scum. Caution is the word!
