Let's see... you have 148, total. I have at least 148 pirates. Everyone else can sit and watch. Bring it on.

Perhaps the acid was applied to the tire at a previous stop (by someone with brown or black hair?). The killer could then follow the boss and ambush him when the tire blew out. Problem is, what about all that damage to the front center of the car, as if someone had rammed it? Further, I am confused by the briefcase. Wouldn't the killer have taken it, if that was the goal? Why would they try to open it here, then return the screwdriver to the trunk? No, that makes no sense. Clearly, the boss took the briefcase from someone, tried to open it, failed, and was carrying it in the front of the car when the "accident" happened. Perhaps the force of hitting something (that caused the front damage) threw it forward out of the car? Which then circles us back to the acid. Why apply acid, then ram the car? It's almost like two seperate plots, but if either one was to steal/retrieve the briefcase, why leave it? I'm a bit lost on the clues here. The only thing that seems certain is that the killer was in front of the car when he (or she) shot the boss. That means he could have grabbed the briefcase, but didn't. That also means he wasn't likely to have been following behind the car, or he had time to get out, go around to the front and take the shot. That would also mean that whoever caused the front damage would have been right there as well, so clearly they were working together, or it was the one who caused the damage who did the shooting. I'm getting a headache, I think I need something stronger than tea.

Don't think I can't see what you're doing here, you're trying to get all of us to turn over information on the relative strength of our minifig armies so you can decide who to attack. I'm not falling for it. You'll know how many there are when you see them flooding through your defenses, laying waste to your towns and cities. In other words, I have no idea. I keep minifigs with sets and only store extras seperately. I am currently using 35, 17 compartment containers for completed spares (figures that are assembled to their original set specifications but come from sets I never owned, or are duplicates of ones that are currently with their sets), some of which have as many as 5 in a compartment. Additionally, I have 15 containers of minifig and related parts and several stacks of really really extra torsos. A PaB order of hairpieces, torsos and legs arrived today and hasn't been sorted yet. It's like Frankenstein's lab around here. In other words, I still have no idea.

How did we move on to buns? Oh, I see what you mean... *takes a bun and some tea and waits for further updates from the big voice in the sky*

In this family we call them cajones. You'd expect Dick Linguini to know that.

Love it, blogged it! Absolutely! While the intent of the contest is to create a classically styled scene, it's important to remember that the classic town look spans all decades and like anything else in life, has to be adjusted to the modern day. It's about taking the best that LEGO has to offer and making it into the greatest home possible for your town citizens, much like the forum banner achieves the same goal.

Well, it's good to see the family together again, I just wish it wasn't under such sad circumstances. *looks around* Anyone hear sirens? I'm sure it's just me... that prison alarm is so loud I must still be hearing it. So, can I take a look at the tires for any sign of damage? I'm thinking maybe someone shot out one and then killed poor what's-his-name. Hey... I think I got whacked in the head too many times in the joint, I can't remember his name anymore. Russians killed your uncle? That's terrible, it's like having someone take a dump on your doorstep or something. I'm sorry to hear it.

I've put on a slinky little number, done up my face and hair, and shoved my pistol in this lovely purse. I'm ready! -
You people are weirder than the usual EB Mafia players. I didn't really think that was possible. Good show!

Without seeing it, it's impossible to estimate the value. It might be 40lbs that includes a monorail, a bunch of old knights, an array of classic town sets, a maersk helmet, 3 forestwomen, a white ninja princess and a bunch of white pigtails. It might be crap. I've heard that $4-5/lb is a decent rate, though honestly, I don't buy LEGO by weight. I might place a $100 order that weighs 8 ounces, but I wouldn't spend nearly as much on many times that weight in unknown parts. Especially used unknown parts. I'm iffy enough on individual used parts that someone says are like new, I don't think I'd have any faith in a big bag/box/bucket of bricks. I gamble on eBay, would consider the same elsewhere, but not without a picture. Consider that your best advice here... see what you are getting before you pay, know what you're looking at, be familiar with the going rates for things you are interested in, mentally calculate the value to you (not based on what you think things are worth to someone else, there is no telling if anyone would buy anything you tried to resell) and act accordingly. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Looks neat so far! It's a crazy idea, but you could also try using a minifig torso decal resized up to what you need. I had considered making t-shirts for LEGO events out of them, but haven't actually tried yet. I thought it would be easiest as an iron-on, but maybe stenciling is possible. Take a look around here and see if anything catches your eye.

Hey hey hey there! I didn't start pointing fingers, Alice and Dragonator did. They're probably having an affair or something! Then Hinck came along and called us all nincompoops, which is a sure sign of witchcraft, I have this book that says so. As I recall, you know all about witches, don't you? (this is going to be an amazing game...) -
Yep, looks good, needs something, and I know what! Slopes. Replace a few of those 1x2x5 bricks with slopes to give it a buttressed look. Hmmm? Ok, I'll find a sample pic. Blurry pic, but it isn't mine. See the slopes coming out of the wall on either side of the doorway? Those look good when evenly spaced on an otherwise empty wall, like one of them, then 4 studs of flat, then another one of them, then a window, then another one, then more flat, etc. Alternately, you could do as this example shows and add some pipes or other metalwork coming out of the wall in places. Lots of ways to fill empty spaces on roofs as well: antennae, boxy equipment representing cooling or power generators, pipes, junk, just about anything. Keep up the good work and be sure to update us if you do more!

I still keep a top-loading Beta around in case I need it. I have this insane dream to one day own all of the equipment necessary to view or listen to any form of media. Everything from Edison rolls to whatever is the newest thing at that moment.

I dunno, Adam is looking hotter than you here. You kind of remind me of Bob Newhart, a perfectly funny man that I have absolutely no desire for.

Oh no, what will I do? I have a few ideas.

Lego Star Wars 10th anniversary exclusive on May 3 and 4
Shadows replied to Commander Assassin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The US is the second largest LEGO market in the world, so it's far from 99% of the world getting "screwed", and don't get overexcited anyway, I'm not expecting this to be anything nearly as big as people are thinking. Maybe it's an early release of the new DK book or something. Cheaper to order that on Amazon, though. -
First, you need to join Brickshelf or another image hosting service (free). Brickshelf is easy, here's a tutorial explaining it. Then to post the pictures, just follow this tutorial. Good luck, and welcome to Eurobricks!
