  1. Thank you @dvogon, unfortunately the proportions of this fanart are not correct - the tail is to wide/short. I guess it is a very early fan model before the mandalorian series was published? Basically it shows similar flaws as Richboyjhaes model. So i assume he used it as reference. But i also noticed at least 2 different Razor Crest CGI within the mandalorian series, but all are minor and mostly about textrues.
  2. The proportions of the body from the topview, i think it is accurate enough for the moment. Any other opinions?
  3. holy moly :) The cockpit window looks really nice but unfortunately it is only 6studs wide. 129€ seems to be really cheap for the official model considering the skyrocketing prices of Din and Baby Yoda Minifigs.
  4. Still working on some panels and proportions. Overall i´m satisfied for the moment. Haven´t received the major brick orders yet.
  5. The shape looks good, have you considered to build the front section with SNOT? The reference picture looks very sleek.
  6. Iteration Nr.2 for the Weapons. And i started with the lower panels - the hinges are invisible - a minor flaw in the original model that was also on my to do list. Switched the frame for the engines to technic bricks as @Kristof suggested. Already built it in real bricks - no bending with the weight of an engine. Next step is the design of the cockpit itself.
  7. Thank you for your contribution @Kristof i like this air intakes and have no idea or plans so far to change them. What i want to change a bit, is the backside of the engines, but with a similar building style. I totally agree with you about the liftarms and i will change them to technicbricks. i used them in the first place just to determine the size and proportions with the engines. And have them in my stock. But this part of the ship is more experimental at the moment. I have ordered all needed bricks in the meanwhile and started with the building process. The landing gear will be a difficult task. The connection with each wall "should" be strong enough. In case it isn´t, there would be enough room to connect both landing gears within the ship´s bottom plate. To get rid of those transclear elements has a high priority for me too.
  8. Good evening @STARHAWK, first i was tempted to buy his instructions also but i noticed this stability issue and now i´m trying to do better. As you said, he designed the first UCS size model at an early time. 1) My intention is yes - but i´m not sure if i can achieve this goal as the built is really heavy! I made a technic support on the walls - similar to the pillars shown in interior shots of the Razor Crest. Those supports are connected to the landing gear but the whole construction rests on 2 4L axles in the end of the day. 2) No, but i already have a plan for a more aesthetic solution. There are no plans to sell or publish the LDD Files.
  9. Thank you @Brick-Wombat! The Engines will need some time but, i made some big steps today! Comparison between 12.5stud diameter engine and 11.5stud - i use the 11.5.
  10. Yes and no, in the beginning i used his design and pictures as starting point, but the changes are way beyond his model right now, it is 85% midlife-crisis 15% richboyjhae. In the end it will be more like 95% vs. 5%. It´s the same ship, but not the same model any more. Thank you!
  11. Thank you! I work on the engines right now - they are definetely too big with 12stud diameter and around 5studs too short. But nevertheless his air inlets are spot on. Partcount now 2997
  12. some steps forward - tail still nee some rework but overall the proportion should fit better now.
  13. checked some images now - the tail of his model as a few flaws. The slope isn´t correct thats why it look "to short" overall. some tail details - longer and a bit sleeker - also the engines should be a little bit longer, maybe the proportion is correct after that.
  14. Hello, yes 6x6 is too small. But those are great parts! here are 2 pictures, i think they show where his design has some light flaws, but no offence to him, he did a great work overall! So the engines are a bit out of proportion maybe 1 stud in diameter too big, 1stud too short, and the upperside of the body seems to be a bit too wide.
  15. Decided to rebuild Richboyjhae´s Razor Crest, he did a really great model, with a few issues i like to build "different" hopefully better. Especially the tail and a few covers around the ship, also i think his engines are great but a little bit too big - will do more research and measurement on this topic. Some connections he used won´t work with LDD... Started from scratch 2 days ago with his fotos, and some pictures out of the mandalorian episodes.
  16. Interesting to see that the Slave One is a favourite of many user.
  17. Post was from 2017! Now here we are 3 years later:
  18. Hi, just curious which is your favorite UCS Set of all time? I´m throwing in the UCS Slave 1, because of the colors, the snot building techniques, the shaping, not the important for me but it has "usefull" play features. regards mc
  19. Sorry guys, voted for the Bomber. :) I´m not really that interested Clone Wars, and i highly doubt LEGO would build something exeptional like Mortesv Nebulon B. Just compare Mortesv Tantive IV to the 3 official Lego Sets...
  20. After another long break... Still building on the rough structure, no ceiling or floor detailing yet. I have rebuild the Hangar door. Now i´m waiting for some parts... not the best picture qualitiy, just handycam.
  21. "Leider geil" Awesome model!
  22. Yes, you have spoken. Great model! Congrats!
  23. Your creation captures the scene very well, i really like it! Never the less the movie was the worst of that season.
  24. Have no ldd File for all changes but basically i used a 32555 as it was more stable than a few studs longer spine. Something like this: But with that change you also need to change the engine section a bit, as the height would be wrong if you just remove a technic brick and use 32555 instead.
