Hey @LordB These are looking pretty amazing!! Regarding the missing bricks, I'm not sure how to fix that in LDD. If these files were created in LDD since the software can't be updated anymore I would think that all the available parts from the LDD file would work for you in your version.... Although I did see a thread somewhere on Eurobricks of someone finding a way to add in newer created Lego parts into LDD, but I never ended up trying myself and can't recall where I saw the thread... however I doubt that is related to this issue sadly :-( I hope you get it working!

@Xon67 has done an amazing job recreating Lego Movie builds which did take him many many hours to create... I too would love to see some Lego Movie 2 builds, specifically from Apocalypseburg, however only time will tell if its practical for him to do :-)

These are super cool @AnyColourYouLike Thanks for sharing, really like the bus and my fav is the police car which I've built a couple in real bricks :-) You should try some in real bricks as there wouldn't be too many parts to collect either from your spare parts or via Bricklink!!

Thought I'd add a new post of something I built last year that's kinda Cloud Cuckoo Land related as it's Unikitty Land that is featured in both the Unikitty cartoons (which I can't bring myself to watch) and the Lego Movie 2.. Saw pictures of the real brick build of this prop that was featured on display in the Lego House in Denmark and loved the build, so I had to give it a try... I still think we need an "Assembling Apocolypseburg" thread @Xon67 :-) Unikitty Unikingdom Palace1 by Nath D, on Flickr Unikitty Unikingdom Palace2 by Nath D, on Flickr

No worries at all @AnyColourYouLike I don't check this thread as often as I used to as there are much fewer posts :-) I'm sorry you are having issues with LDD and aren't able to open your files properly. I've not experienced this issue before, and the only suggestion I would've offered is to uninstall and reinstall LDD.. Have you tried installing LDDsoftware on a different computer and loading the LDD files there? Anyways good luck, and if you get it fixed feel free to share images/renders of the digital builds as they are always interesting to look at too :-)

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

I'm also in Australia and missed out on the Sparkle Baby set on Lego Shop@Home, and thought maybe I should wait until all 3 of the newer sets are back in stock and get them together.... That wasn't wise as now the MetalBeard (Systar Party Crew) set is also out of stock.. However thankfully I knew someone who was travelling overseas and was able to get those 2 sets for me. Wyld/Mayhem set left and then I'm done thankfully, then onto considering more customs :-) -

I agree that AU$500 for Apocalypseburg is pretty high. I think a RRP of AU$400 is a little more reasonable if you compare it to something like Assembly Square which retailed here for $399 and has a higher part count with ordinary minifgs.. But although I saved up and paid $500 for the set, I honestly don't regret it as its an awesome set!! -
Thanks heaps @Xon67 There were certainly a bunch of part substitutions made for parts that weren't available in the correct colours, specifically the 1x3 normal/inverted slopes, but nothing that affected the overall appearance of the build thankfully. And I did have to use a small amount of Kragle on the dream catcher, but everything else connected nicely :-)

The Master Builders assembled to create one the coolest creations from the Lego Movie, and although they didn't see eye to eye on the design, they still came up with a beautiful build..... that ultimately met its demise moments later... Go on over to the Assembling Cloud Cuckoo Land thread that @Xon67 created to see the final build :-) Ready... Well after some time with part collecting and probably around 30hrs + of building time, I finally completed my absolute favourite creation from the Lego Movie.... the Master Builder Submarine!!! Thanks so much to @Xon67 for sharing his photos of the movie accurate rendered version that seriously helped me build this beast.. The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
NDLG80 replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks mate... I understand sales all over haven't been great for TLM2 sets, however it appears Lego Australia isn't showing any love to the fans who will buy all the sets if they could :-( I'm actually really looking forward to the Wyld/Mayhem fighter as I think it looks really cool. Same here in Australia too... Shop at home is the same I assume as you guys as the Wyld/Mayhem fighter is the only one currently available with the other 2 as "coming soon". But more reports I hear that the other 2 wont ever be available here is very sad as I dont wanna pay ridiculous overseas shipping just to get the smaller sets... -

Awesome, what country are you based in? I'm now hearing that they won't be coming to retail stores in Australia and we might only be able to order them online through Lego :-( Have anyone from Australia heard any different? -

After getting all of the TLM2 sets that I was wanting, I decided to try my hand at a custom build for a set that featured in the movie. So I decided to make this cool build that is inspired by the live action prop from Bianca's room in the Lego Movie 2, that is also on display at the Lego House in Denmark..Unfortunately I had to substitute a few parts as they weren't available in the colours used on the movie prop, however still happy with the final result :-) Unikitty Unikingdom Palace1 by Nath D, on Flickr Unikitty Unikingdom Palace2 by Nath D, on Flickr -

I'm sure Lego has had many complaints about this set as I agree that the purple windscreen should've been placed in a sealed bag on its own since mine also had more scratches than a brand new part should have... -

I know that we should have all 4 sets released together in the Lego store here in May, however will hold off on the Excelsior if I know cheaper retailers like Kmart etc will get them in soonish :-) -

Can anyone confirm whether the next wave of sets will be released next month in Australia? And is there any word whether set 70839 The Rexcelsior will be a Lego store exclusive or if other retailers are likely to get it? -

@Guyon2002 do you own the game or have you just checked out gameplay on youtube etc? I loved the first game for the exploration of the different worlds within the movie and the ability to see how builds were made via the gold instructions...
