@Xon67 Haha.... your creations are always the best, I just thought I'd do a quick render of the mid sized logo after hearing the great news of the sequel announcement :-) Really hoping the second movie is as good as the first even though Phil Lord and Christopher Miller aren't directing this one.... 10 months to go for us Aussies who get the movie 6 weeks later than the US and UK :-(

Well it's official... The Lego Movie Part 2 has been confirmed with the release of the movie logo.... So this means I need to alter my existing 3D logo now ;-) Now to complete all my TLM builds I wanna do before it comes out... Can't wait until February 2019!! Awesome @ionman99!! I'm looking forward to building this one too to complete my Bad Cop Police vehicle collection and have collected most of the unique parts so far apart from the horse I will put inside... Looking forward to seeing your completed build :-)

@ionman99 I can finally view the images of your build... Love it!! That would be cool to include the scene where the Pig Wagon is first seen... definately keep sharing photos of your progress and of your display when its done... Since you are in NZ, and close enough to us Aussies, I have an Aussie Lego Movie Facebook group where you or any other die hard fans of the movie can share pics of their collection, MOC's or just fun stuff from TLM.. Check it out here.... https://www.facebook.com/groups/350489338667751/ @Xon67 I hope its ok that I shared the link to my TLM Aussie group, if not please let me know and I can delete my message.. You are also very welcome to join the group if you are on Facebook as an honorary Aussie since you are a much better Master Builder than all of us :-)

@ionman99 Hey mate, no images have displayed... Have you posted them on an external site like Flickr as you can't post them directly to this forum as I found out when I first joined... If you have Flickr, here is a tutorial on how to link your images to the forum Look forward to checking out your build progress :-)

@ionman99 Its a super fun build, hopefully yours is much more stable than mine.. As I mentioned I will eventually partially take apart to add more supports that can't be seen from the outside of course. Would be cool to see pics of yours when done :-) As you may have noticed some different brown parts in my pics, which is where I cheated and painted some parts, like the coffin as I couldn't get in the right colours in time to build...

@Xon67 This movie should gain attention for much longer than 4 years, as much as I enjoyed the Batman/Ninjago versions, this one will always be the best!! And the Pig Wagon is such a cool vehicle as its so different to most Lego vehicles around... I'm gonna have to revisit some stability issues with mine as I'm afraid to move it much coz its so fragile :-( Also I was thinking recently that rumours of Lego Movie sequel being released Feb 8th 2019... which means all new sets starting to surface as soon as Christmas this year!!! WOOHOO!!! Plus with a CMF series in Jan/Feb too I will need to complete all my Lego Movie 1 wishlist builds before it comes out.... Soooo any chance you have started work on the Submarine at all??.... hint.. hint ;-) I am hoping to be able to build the mid sized version and I will be content... Thanks as always!!

Wow!! Super impressive build there @Xon67.... Glad I didn't attempt a real world build of this, maybe the front entrance one day... However I really like the interior bar area, that would look great built!

Love this build @Xon67 :-) What is the base dimensions for it? Its similar to an idea I had of making a modular building version of Octan Tower, not to scale of course ;-) Would love to build something a similar size (maybe one floor higher) than Emmets Apartment building, but would love to include the 2x2 brick roof as that would look super cool...

Thanks @Xon67... Was definately an interesting build.... Main challenge for me was putting in the undercarriage for the front end and trying to ensure that it tilted slightly whilst still being able to connect to the back half with the side supports... Still a very fragile set, but glad I can now add it to the collection :-) If you ever feel like figuring out the Submarine they escape from Cloud Cuckoo Land in, I would be more than happy to try a real world build of that ;-)

Thanks so much to @Xon67 and his awesome master builder skills for working out Wyldstyles Pig Wagon and for help with images so that I could create a real world build finally :-) After a little customisation on some parts and connections, it's pretty much done!! @Xon67 Amazing job on the Pig Cart and thanks so much for sharing!! Was it challenging to work out? Do you think any changes would need to be made to make a real world build eg: fix floating parts.... As long as there aren't any super rare or expensive parts I'm going to definately try building this one. Any help with close ups, front/rear or alternate angles would be greatly appreciated as per usual :-)

Awesome that you are now doing the Old West @Xon67... really appreciate all the effort you put into recreating these sets for all of us die hard fans :-) I'm hoping you figure out the Pig Cart as I've found a couple of pics online for someone that built a decent looking one, but sadly dismantled it and couldn't supply any more pics :-( Would ultimately love to build the front of the Saloon too someday.. Keep up the awesome work!!

Hi @ColletArrow... At this stage I haven't actually tried putting instructions on it due to the small size of the background, however was thinking of maybe copying and resizing the Double Decker couch instructions to fit this set or something like that...

Ok after a long break I finally picked up the last parts I needed to make a real build of the Instruction Holder that Gail is seen working on in the Lego Movie... Thanks so much @Xon67 for working out the build and sharing a couple of pics to help me work this one out... It's pretty much complete with maybe a couple of alterations needed for the holder that Gail sits on... Also AMAZING work @STeNCH @BlackStar @Xon67, that you are doing on the full scale Construct A Mech, can't wait to see your completed real builds of that beast!! Thanks heaps @Xon67, the rear view, especially with being able to see the lines of where parts are joined.... Will have a play around in LDD to correct my first attempts, as I wasn't sure if the floor plates for the 2nd level covered the whole inside or if they are just placed around the walls of the building.... and if they have a layer of tiles (minimal studs) like normal modulars so each floor can be removed?? Again thanks for your awesome work on these Bricksburg LDD creations. Really hope to show you some real world builds sometime :-)

Thanks heaps @Xon67 So much to fit into one scene, but much happier than the original Lord Business Evil Lair at least... Also when you have a spare moment, are you able to post a rear angle and possibly intersected or complete internal view of your Mrs Scratchen Posts Apartment showing as much part details as possible as I'm looking into building a couple of Emmets neighbours apartments in the near future?? Maybe even showing the internals of the roof, larger bay windows on left hand side and anything else you think may assist me recreating in LDD?? Thanks heaps as always!!

So I finally took a few photos of my custom Lord Business Evil Lair to share with you guys... I had a bunch of these mini scenes done and sitting on my shelves for a while and also wasn't happy with the official Lord Business set as is, so put them all together with a few extras in LDD to make a much cooler larger version.....and also added some custom decals for extra fun.... All I want to do now is add some relics, foil up Wyldstyle to make Robo-Wyldstyle and build a full sized TAKOS (if it fits through the center doors that is) Glad to see @Xon67 create full sized versions of a bunch of these mini scenes in LDD.... @Xon67 Well I have completed my Metalbeard in his strong & virile body with the purchase of the Pirate Captain minifig and the use of some sharp tools to modify his actual beard (part 15440) so that it would fit closer to the minifig body. Also painted it to look closer to the Metalbeard with his hearty crew in the movie... Thanks for the inspiration!! Awaiting the final parts needed for the "Down on the farm" Metalbeard to arrive too :-) Metalbeards Strong & Virile Body by Nath D, on Flickr

@Xon67 many thanks as always for the explanations!! I actually had a spare Metalbeard which I re-arranged to match the "Down on the Farm" version, have ordered the extra couple of parts for ears/eyes and will try and find a way to connect the floating parts now that I know they are in fact floating ;-) I also ordered a Pirate Captain and extra Metalbeard parts to create the strong virile version, however still wondering what I will do with the 2x2 plate that is attached to the actual metal beard... Will probably leave it I guess. I've also started playing around in LDD on the SWAT Canon Van, and if possible would you share alternate angles of the van to help identify parts used if thats ok to do? I kinda wished I hadn't seen these new creations to replicate as I tend to have too many projects going at one time and start one and move to another, then go back again etc etc Happy I have most parts ordered.collected for the Copper Chopper and am half way through my Upgraded Lord Business Lair MOC.... Look forward to completing some of these projects so I can share!

@Xon67 Really love the Octan Tower interiors.... They are something that I've been pondering for quite some time, of course not to the scale you have been able to do them though. However already did a mini scene with Metalbeard the copier, Speaker Delivery and I'm currently working on putting a bunch of elements together to make a much better "Lord Business Evil Lair" on a 48x48 base. I have tried to include as much as I could from scenes in the tower to feature on the set as I could and also hoping to get a few custom decals to add to it as well.. Will share a pic hopefully in the next few weeks when I've started the build and made a decent amount of progress.. Also thanks heaps for your help on the Instruction Holder, I'm still hoping to build it at some stage as I've collected a heap of parts for it, however put it on the backburners for the moment whilst I do this Lord Business build and also have most of the parts needed for a Copper Chopper... Just discovered your Swat/Cannon van on your Flickr page and was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing a back and underneath view as I'd love to do a real world build of this as well?? Is it based on an actual Lego van like other Lego Movie vehicles to your knowledge? Lastly really love the multiple Metalbeard designs, I have played around in LDD to put together the "Down on the Farm" Metalbeard from duel set, all I can't figure out at the moment is the parts behind the eyes and how the eyes attach and how his pirate hat attaches to the "metalbeard"? I understand the pupils and ears aren't actually attached in your render, but I'm sure I can find a way to get them to stick Definately keeping me inspired looking through your renders!!

Hi @Xon67, Many thanks again for the extra image which definately helped complete this build in LDD... As we both mentioned, I will have to add some "support" parts when doing the real build, and possibly look at the possibility of painted some parts to try and get close to the movie, which is a bunch of those Part 32530/32529 that are definately yellow in the movie, however that part doesn't exist in yellow in real life which I thought was weird that the movie would use a part that doesn't exist in that colour... oh well!! This is my adaptation with a couple of alternative parts used like the black 95347 (2x2x10 support) to replace the 2x2x5 lattice ones used in the movie, just because I can't buy them locally... I will also try and find a way to connect the last part of the trailer which appears to be lose at this stage, other than that I can't wait to try and get the parts for this one :-) And for some reason I can't upload my screenshot of the completed LDD unless its under 10kb which is way too small, wondering if there is a limit for new users in posting images here.... Anyways, thanks again!!

Hi @Xon67.... As mentioned through message, here are a couple of images of the build so far in LDD before I attempt the real world build of the Instruction Holder... The circled areas are highlighting the areas I couldn't work out the exact parts for in LDD?? Also if you had another angle showing more details of the trailer underneath the instruction holder that would be appreciated!! :-) Many thanks for your help... Nathan

Thanks so much @Xon67 for these extra pictures, definately gives me something to go by in attempting the build myself.... Will certainly play around in LDD to see if I can get this one ready for part collecting.. Hopefully not many rare or pricey parts in there ;-) Currently collecting parts for the Copper Chopper and this will be my next project for the new year I think...
