  1. Very nice. I wonder if it will be stocked in Lego stores. 8-| Why?
  2. Errrr... SNOT is still completely wrong. SNOT: Studs Not On Top A building technique where studs are, surprisingly, not always on top. This can be achieved with pieces designed for the purpose and have studs and/or anti-studs) on two or more faces, or by using pieces in a creative way. For example, most of the hinge pieces are good for SNOTting. EDIT: My tug boat uses SNOT to make the roof and front of the pilot house. Awww, thanks. :-$ Can't say I like the way it sounds though.... :-/
  3. Happy birthday.... ya know, if you want us to remember, it would help if we knew...... X-D
  4. Indeed. Many people like these, but I don't. Especially since they cheated with the head and hands.
  5. I know enough to know that I don't want to do it! There is an excellent article here that should give you an idea of how hard it is. Welcome to Eurobricks by the way! *sweet*
  6. now
  7. topic
  8. You are such a M#g& Bl#ks fanboy. :-P TLC may be in the same business M!g@, but even ignoring part quality, M&g* still have horrid set design. Until they learn how to make a good looking set with good MOC properties they will always be a distant second.
  9. Yay! *sweet* There was much rejoycing thoughout Eurobricks as Hinckley has been returned to us! :'-)
  10. Sad but true! :-$ I'll keep my big mouth shut next time. X-D (Is your power back now?)
  11. I think he might want some pictures in the first entry as an index. 8-| :-D Great story!
  12. Thank you! *wub* I have been drooling over them all morning! *sweet* And thank you too! *wub* Cool idea! I look forward to it!
  13. Thanks very much for the review. You have convinced me that I only want this set on sale. It seems to be an odd year for Technic; most sets seem average except the Bulldozer. The crawler crane is on it's way to me now; it is still available for Australia and that is probably why we can't buy this set yet. The biggest reason for me to buy this set is for the wheels. Very disapointing the complete lack of a drivetrain. :'-( (Any chance of passing on the instuction book codes?)
  14. I have admired this in the past. *wub* I tried to make something similar (I might post pictures afterwoods) but I ran out of pieces so it is only half finished. I might try to make mine again at a smaller scale and I doubt it will ever approach the perfection of yours. :'-( Thanks for posting this.
  15. I'm outta time..... aren't I? 8-| I have several ideas but all require building something. The dino-eats-man-on-toilet would have required near zero building! A possible easy idea is dino-on-a-ship, but I think that would be exceedingly lame, and I don't think my Dino Attack dinosaur would fit anyway! :-P
  16. Oh my M%g@ Bl&ky gawd Landlubber, that is great. *wub* It looks like it is back to the drawing board for me. :'-(
  17. Sorry, my plan was to do what UniqueBuilder did. It's too late for me to do a different one. :-$
  18. I will do my best to produce an entry, and my pleasure! *sweet*
  19. Nice argument, but why not just make 2 mechs instead?
  20. Yesish. When I got married it was in one of those pre-digital camera times so I have only film photos. :'-( I started scanning them all but I still haven't finished. :-$ What I have done is take a photo of the photo, with my ring as it is today to the left. When the ring was done it was anodised, and thus it looked purplish. However, at the time I was a technician in the navy and several years of being bashed on all the metal around the ship scraped it off. :'-( I knew this would happen, and I still like it either way. We are considering having them re-anodised for our 10th anniversary. I really wanted a custom ring for our wedding ring and at the time titanium jewelry was rare. I have short thick fingers so my ring was 100% custom, and the reason why the jeweler had so much trouble. Interestingly I wanted a titanium ring as I love aircraft, but my (now) wife liked the idea as the couple in the movie "The Abyss" have one! (That is why his hand wasn't crushed by the pressure door.) Oh no! I thought it was just having kids that was wearing me down! 8-
  21. Indeed. I suspect you might very well win, but I will still give it a try! *sweet* I think my best chance is to do something very different.... 8-|
  22. Ahh, that is much better. *sweet*
  23. The model doesn't look that different, but I do think the set looks better now. *wacko* I certainly don't think it is good design though, but I do like the cage idea. It is obvously supposed to be the Robot version of Aero Booster. Depending on price I might want it for parts... Welcome to Eurobricks! I would love some better photos when you get around to it..... *sweet* I agree. It has to be the most absurd Exo-Force vehicle yet! :-D When I first saw Exo-Force I felt the same way, but I have since got over it. Yes, it doesn't make sense, but like many stories you have to accept some silly design concepts and see things as a whole. For example 1. All Mecha stories - Mecha simply make no sense at all, but they sure are cool 2. Spaceships banking in Star Wars - Silly. But it is what people expect even though it is completely wrong. 3. The guns and the solar system of 100 planets in Serenity - Both silly, but the concept was a western in space. ...I can go on for a while. But in this case, the story is Robots versus Humans, thus there are Robot minifigs, even though both sides pilot giant robots. It's just one of those things. *wacko*
  24. Indeed, I did. *wub* Thanks. :-)
  25. Welcome to Eurobricks! It seems I have been passed over for promotion yet again. Too many officers here, not enough sailors! :-P
