  1. Congrats Hinckley! Ahhhghgh; a taste of things to come if I lose in our smackdown! *sing*
  2. Here's my new favourite. It's by Izzo and you can find more here. He even has a crawler version! :-D
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks! Sorry for missing your topic; you posted in my magical sleep time. :-$ You like Lego to eh? Wow! Small world. :-P
  4. Cool! They are getting rare now. :'-( I needed to order from Germany to get my new one. I hope it has the right eyes.... 8-| As for the "quote", that was just Hinkley being a smarty pants and me being one back. I wil delete it now before it causes further confusion. *wacko*
  5. Actually I would love to but I suspect his time is about as tight as mine is! :'-( No need to. The facts speak for themselves.... :-D
  6. :-D A lot of things are like this in life. When I joined the Navy I just decided it one day out of the blue. For years I wanted to join the air force, but never the Navy. *wacko* I say roll with it! :-P
  7. ...and I said in my rant that "the Jury class was designed for space".... :-D (I am joking by the way, when I get around to it I will say more in the appropriate thread. :-$ )
  8. I have the Backhoe, the plane (x2) and the humvee and they are great for parts. (Sniggles promotion in Australia.)
  9. Thanks very much for joining! *sweet* First of all, please note that I did say in my first post that I thought it looked beautiful! :-D I am always stunned when a model like this surfaces and I am left wondering "why"! Thanks for answering that question for the most part. The one answer I couldn't find was the answer of; "Why Titanic?". From what I know (and you will probably know better!), when the Titanic was made the goal was to make a ship that looked impressive, and they even gave it a fake funnel for effect/appearance. But Titanic would have been a forgotten ship had it not been for the disaster. The fact that many don't know that it had two sister ships, Olympic and Britannic, and that Olympic served for many years without major problems highlights this. As you say yourself "it was a plain looking ship", probably because of its age and that it was made with rivets and not welded, and thus was squareish for the most part. Personally, if I was going to make a model of an authentic large ship I would choose a more interesting looking one, like the QE2 or the SS United States. So... is there a particualar reason why you chose Titanic? Is it because it is so well known? No, this isn't my style and I think I have made that clear already, but what I like to build probably isn't your style either. :-P The fact that Lego can be used for so many different interests is one of the greatest aspects of Lego. If you keep going the way you are it will be stunning and I hope you complete it. The stern has been done very well, and I like how you haven't just made a waterline model. I think you are right that once the top it will look far more interesting. I also think there would be a good chance that someone would buy this. There are a lot to Titanic fans out there and large models like this have sold before on eBay, although shippping would be astronomical! :-P It would be a shame for this to just "fall" in the sorting bin once complete. It would make a great bit of lobby art for a hotel.... Hey! You're trying to cause trouble! :'-( I did drop a tugboat on my head! 8-
  10. I'm interested! That's a cool room. :-D I love the big speakers and the trippy rug!
  11. Sure they did! :-P
  12. Happy birthday guys! Should I drop in on you today Mister Phes? :-D
  13. I think you have done a very good job of it. *sweet* It is quite well disgused and the parts that show fit in well. Predictably I ask; are you going to build this? I suppose it might be hard to get that many cannon.
  14. Yes, that green truck is a must buy for me! *wub*

  16. If your idea is for a space station contest you will probably find you won't get too many entries. Even so, if you hold it Nov-Dec I could be interested. I am booked up for the rest of the month though! :-P
  17. That was my first thought! *sweet*
  18. Cool! You couldn't stay away from the letters could you! X-D (How's the poor guy going to reach the top? :-P )
  19. Having the head lower like that makes it look meaner. *y*

Good work! *sweet* The ball joints should have stayed with Bioncle IMHO... :-| Unfortuantly next years line has them too.
  21. Thanks for joining Eurbricks. If your new castle diorama is as good as this one it will be worth the wait! *wub* I like your Santiagos Gate castle. You're about the same age as me! *sweet* (Your English is great too!)
  22. With all seriousness, feel free! I can take it! 8-|
  23. I think the Yamato one has been on pause for a while... :'-( :-D I'd be in trouble then wouldn't I? Better still, get the guy who made the Carrier here as well for a good Sinner whack session! :-P That'll learn me! :-$
  24. Congrats on being invited to join Builders Lounge. Are there any other members on EB? Yep, I'm with J here! This is a great MOC and probably my favourite of yours for a while. *wub* But the brown is a bit much, especially in the guns. The bridge looks so freakily cool! *sweet* The crew are a bit freaky for my liking too, but I supect that is a design choice. Your idea of an apocalypse sure is apocolyptic!
