I brought the 'Union Pacific' too, as stacker9000 mentioned , mine does not look that bad either. The only Enlighten train I was impressed by was the 'Deluxe locomotive' and the Deluxe 'passenger car', these were not Lego originals but there own designs I think?. Never the less I am in the process of re creating them out of Lego as it will fit in better with what I already have. I only use cheap Lego for parts you don't see such as filler bricks.

That's a neat little house you've built there!. Fits in well with the other one next to it. keep on bricking!.

How long do we have to wait for this next evolution? a week? or months?. Just a thought could it be the new PF track but you could put it together like the old 12volt track, that would make a bit more sense looking at the picture and would greatly reduce the need for that flex track stuff.

I always had Lego as long as I can remember. I think the first sets would of been my sisters, and when i was born she gave them to me, and funny enough with the help of brick link I've figured out what some of those sets were '296 and 258' i figured this out because these were the only sets around that time with the yellow macaroni piece and the blue arch, using the large figures. Had a bit of the dark ages when i was around 13 but by 20 the Star Wars sets had come out and by 25 my son was born, so I got all my Lego back out and cleaned it off ready for the trains again.

Cool shunter Al FREDDO. Is it based on a real one?, I like the flat cars too. I completely agree Pingles using minfigures in any set up always brings the scenes to life you get a sense of scale as well. I like the ways you have all your pictures on white back grounds so the main feature doesn't loose it's impact, great MOC's and I can't wait to see more, Brick on!!

That is a cool car danthaman11, blue make s it look good too, front of a covette and the rear of a mustang.

Great, that's a good Moc of a 'Pannier' tank engine. As for your question compared to the Emerald night, size wise in real life it would of been a bit smaller (cause it's a tank engine so it would of been used on branch lines and shunting duties). It might not seem to out of place tough when you construct it. Maybe if it was too large you could scale it down to 7 wide?. This is a really good rendition though.

Ah, mulitmeter thanks lightning tiger, i will have to purchase one of those. As for the red battery cover it was fairly simple it just slid off with a bit of persuading using a very thin knife, and being very careful not to damage to out side of the box.

Hello again everyone, I purchased a battery wagon off E bay a while back I got it very cheap but the only problem it very corroded or oxidised ( the copper in it had gone green). Any way, I removed the red plastic cover and scraped out all the green goo, I also took the whole thing apart and used emery cloth to get the corrosion off the copper terminals and make them nice and shiny again. I put it all back together and brought new batteries for it wired it all up, turned the switch and nothing. I can't seem to figure out why it wont work?, all the contacts are touching and the batteries are new the only thing I was not sure about is what it's supposed to look like originally in the inside of the wagon, but I put everything back in the right positions (how I found it). So it should work. The Battery wagon came off the train '7722' . Has anyone had the same problems or does anyone possibly know what could be wrong with it?. Many thanks, Gareth

That really is a good one of the 12volt '7740' train, I really like that one the best, the other's are great too but I feel you really capture the feeling with the 12volt one with the landscape details. Keep up the great work Catty.

Yes the space one that was it, in the Manchester display it was certainly a lot longer than the one in the video and it went all round the display and down onto the base of it (moon's surface) but still on a track, as far as I can remember . That's a better picture of it But it is a bit too hard to see the track, it's a shame that there isn't more information from this period. It looks as if they more or less used the track from the Trains hence the rather large side to the track to disguise it and remove the use of the sleepers, still pretty cool space station hay .

Thanks for the replies, that Sea Tron prototype did they ever release it or did it end up being the new 'Atlantis' sets?. Looked on you tube just maybe thought it would of been on there, there is a small video of the World show in the Netherlands this shows a brief glimpse of the monorail thing, but compared to the Manchester World show it is less than half the size. It under the name 'Lego World show 1984' I can't seem to be able to paste the link in this area, so just go on youtube and you should be able to see what I mean.

Hello folks, A long time ago way back in 1984 my parents took my brother and I to the World Lego Show in Manchester, it was all about the beginning of life on earth as far as I can remember and we had a book with all the Dinosaur models in it, unfortunately I do not possess this book any more. Any way my point is there was a display there quite large as far as I remember with all the classic space mini-figures and there was this little train thing going around a track this was in 1984 two years before the space monorail set was released in the U.K. Was this the first monorail train or a prototype of it? I'm not sure where I should of posted this Topic but I thought monorails are like trains so would come under this area. Gareth

Cool, I see now!. I bet it looks real good when you've got all the trains and monorail running, do you have light bricks in the buildings it would make it look really pretty with the lights off (I always seem to think so anyway ).

Great Fire station zeki. It looks the business defiantly, on the 5 wide van what piece did you use for the 5 wide windscreen/shield?.
-
That's great, I defanatly would be intrested in some. Can't seem to send a message to you Janco mot thriugh P.M or the E mail though.

That does look like an impressive layout Michael S, if I'm looking at the plan right the shaded area is the photo, is the rest of the plan complete or is it all under construction still. Anyway it's looking pretty good so far and I like your tables.

The thing that I find anoying about 'Pick a Brick' is they sell only things in a certain colour for example the train/carrage plate they sell them but only in dark stone colour and for black trains/carrages it doesn't look good. So things from pick a brick compared to Brick link are a bit limited unless you don't mind your construction being multi coloured!.

Cool thanks for that information Guys, when I get payed on the 15th I sure am going to get a couple of copies.

Is there anyway to get RailBricks delivered to the U.K? I'd love to be able get get hold of one (just to save electricity powering the computer when looking at the flash versions).

I agree with Toastie, there are a lot of good trains made from TLG and especially the 12 volt ones always bring back good memories for me, but if you are counting MOC's as well Ben Beneke's BR23 and Teddys's BRo1 are great looking trains not forgetting Selander's BR103. But when I first saw the Metro liner I was quite disappointed, because it wasn't 12 volt and didnt really fit in with them. Maybe if it came out in red then it would of looked better

Hi everyone. Now I don't know if this has been brought up before and I am not being rude but the title reads 'Eurobricks', did the website at first only just include members from Europe and has been up-scaled for the rest of the world?. The reason I'm asking this is because a lot of the members seem to be from the United States or other country's out side of Europe, so shouldn't the website be called something different or would that be daft to change a good name?. Hope someone knows what I'm twittering on about and once again I'm not being malicious just curious. Many thanks Gareth

Nice, On the Railbricks site I found instructions for this train and am currently in the process of constructing it, process because I have to wait for Brick link deliveries of all the various parts. I like the colour they look the same as the pictures on Wikipedia but i'm going to keep mine the same red and yellow like on the insructions plus it would fit in with the colour scheme of the other trains. I like the backdrop too with the alpine skier, great model.

That's a good old fashioned style of signal box, I like the way you've also got a an outside services box (at least thats what I think it is). Ive' seen a lot of buildings this colour recently where do most of the 'Tan/Beige/Sand' colour bricks come from apart from Bricklink are they mainly from the 'Lego Creator' house '4954' ? Great Moc anyway.

Maybe he's going that fast he's already on the water heading out to the boat?, or it's a new way to catch fish?.
