Also the new space subtheme is basicly a Mining theme , as part of it is collecting crystals and opening boulders for research/fuel, as seen in previous Gold Mining / Volcano themes. It doesn't have the industrial vehicles, but still has miner figures in those new yellow spacesuits, with hand drill tools, mechsuits, and little robots with drills.

This is how a farm set should be, well done LEGO : I figure the price is kept fairly reasonable due to not having horses or many large animals, but the build and tractor are just very good, more interesting to me compared to the last Organic Farm that was almost double the price (€55 vs €100) And there's still the 41745: Autumn's Horse Stable for a farm stable that has a living room and beds. 41721: Organic Farm still wasn't a terrible set, but the lack of a plate over the kitchen/living space made no sense, as there's at least 2x10 space to store something up to 2 bricks high there, perhaps could've benefit from a hinged design as well. I know there are no full plates under the 2024 farm roof either but I wonder if that's done to allow horses fit fully inside with their head up.

I think stuntz is 100% done, as it's all retiring this month even the March 2023 sets. As far as sets go, based on what we got now for 2024, and what is retiring for 2023 , I'd say the focus will be on City structures. A new Bank could certainly be possible. Also would be nice to get a horse ranch type of set, as 2024 does not seem to focus on Friends horses much (the 2024 Friends farm barn is great tho) I think something Harbour seems quite likely , with the Prison Island, Crook Hideout being water based, and container harbour pictured in background. Chain link fence with containers seem to really fit a harbour with a crane, but if they do a container ship, hopefully it's it's own set. Also makes sense with the Sailboat set, perhaps a marina too.

LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Those official alternate options are very cool, making the flying space car into a normal car, or a space rover with 6 elevated wheels is lovely. At least that's the set, where the alternate build changes it the most imo. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

It's quite interesting that the 4+ set is only one that directly shows the process of using crystals to recharge those power cells due to the big printed panel. The other sets do have plenty of connection points for those power cells, so maybe there's some other print/sticker in another build that shows it too. -

LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion

I doubt the LEGO mode figure skins will be useable in the battle royale, but some owned skins will retroactively have minifigure versions available. One of those free skins with both a normal and a minifigure version is available by linking Epic and LEGO insiders accounts, which seems to confirm this even more. But that does not mean that there could be actual physical minifigures. The new patch does have LEGO in one of the 4 corners of the load screen, but there does not seem to be any LEGO areas or references in the new battle royale map at all, and I played for a couple hours. It's more that the 4 corners of the load screen represent 4 game modes being : Battle Royale LEGO Creative/Music and some racing/rocket league (I never played) Beside that, the paid Save the World mode still exists as well but that's been around for years so not really advertised, altho it did hit like a record 70k+ players recently so it's not a dead mode either. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
TeriXeri replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Because it's more likely a special series and a numbered series are on the shelves at the same time, where a series 26 would have stores replace series 25 probably. And this space thing is a cross-theme going on, so it's happening more because of that, and not purely just within CMF like those monsters were. LEGO Movie or Ninjago series were not called Series 20 or 16 either, and those had more LEGO products across multiple themes as well. -
In YouTube are speculating about the end of yellow heads
TeriXeri replied to El Garfio's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah Duplo's first articulated figures appeared in 1983, with flesh tone heads, so the color of plastic did exist within LEGO, also duplo had things like animals in colors that would not be seen in LEGO for decades later, a 1985 set 2647: Farm Animals . So if LEGO wanted to change things, they would've had flesh tone minifigs probably in the 80s if they wanted to. But when it came to Duplo bricks with faces on them, they were yellow as well, similar to system bricks with eyes at the time. Duplo started making more varied non-licensed figure skin tones, since around the same time Friends minidolls appeared as non-licensed. I don't see it impossible for LEGO to eventually switch all minifigs to skin tones, but I think minifigs have been way more iconic compared to like Duplo figs or Minidolls, and Minifigs even still have their own Patent, while bricks do not. -
I only came back to LEGO in 2016, and only collected Nexo Knights until 2018, so the earliest City sets are 2018, so did not get the previous Prison Island theme sets, or the forest/swamp/mountain hideouts (I also skipped many police sets that focused on just giant vehicles like the sky police "base" was focused on a giant airplane mostly, or the mountain hideout helicopter is bigger then the structure) Yeah 2023 and 2024 looks to be doing great on it's €10-20 and €30 sized sets again, in both Friends and City. Sure the "battlepacks" starter sets with 3-4 figs for €10 are gone, but at least there are sets like the 2 otter , or seal sets, or many smaller sets come with 2-3 figs still. Even the City Space 4+ set is not overpriced for once, as 4+ can sometimes be, it's €20 with 3 figs. wheras something like Star Wars 4+ 75384: The Crimson Firehawk is a crazy €50+

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
LEGO City set lifespan can be all over the place, with some examples like most of the 2022 Farm sets only being officially around for 6 months (Jun22-Dec22), but I doubt this will end up like that, likely not even just a 1 year lifespan, but probably 2. If they do last shorter then that, maybe there will be more sets after 1 year instead, like Stuntz first sets were Oct21-Dec22, but then had new sets in Jun22, and Mar23 to last until Dec23. But then again, this isn't just City, but Space all over many themes. -
Looking at more detailed pictures, it looks like the Prison Island can be seperated into at least 2 sections as there's a visible "seam" on the back side, but also at the 2 slopes and sandgreen part at the dock at the other side. The fire station certainly has the biggest interior since a while, 2 garages, and what looks like at least 16x32 + overhanging office, and the sliding garage doors remind of the cargo door from the Icons galaxy explorer remake , instead of being hinged. I wonder if Garage 1 and 2 can be seperated into 2 buildings, as it seems only connected by a few plates or tiles.

60417 Crook hideout comes with a new dog, just noticed via this clearer brickmerge image : Pretty cool representation of a hideout in shipping containers too for a smallish set. Also can be seperated with technic pin connectors on the dock and teal containers. Money can be hidden under the dock as well. Price / value seems just fine, for 3 figures, 2 vehicles, 1 animal, and still has some large panels and chainlink fence piece.

It's fun that the giraffe and flamingo come back here together, as they were also in 31116: Safari Wildlife Tree House together in the same main build.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
LEGO already had AntiMatter (Ultra Agents joke), now they have crystals, so that explains the warp drives, those spacecraft have no obvious rockets. Star Trek has those cylindrical Antimatter storage containers, and also cylindrical Plasma Injectors, so those batteries using purple cylinder pieces is quite fitting. -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, the game had constant queues during this OG season which brought back an older map and older items. Maybe because it was just a 1 month season, it was more queues then usual, but still. The end-of-chapter event also had big queues. New chapter and island tomorrow (for battle royale) , LEGO Mode is next week. -
To me, the design is a direct reference to the Eurocopter EC-135 (minus doors) , I see those fly around a lot here, as both Police and Medical versions. Operated in 60 countries, 50% of which are medical helicopters.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
It's so nice LEGO actually has cross-theme compatibility here, like the Friends set uses the same orange connectors, to add the Friends base onto a City space section. And even further, the Friends space base is very modular by itself as well, many grey technic bricks used between sections, could even put it with regular "earth" city set structures as it use the same 8x8 scale for some of it. Also the Friends space base toilet is funny. -

After seeing more pictures of the City Space Station, looks a lot better , when they show modularity and options to turn it into various spacecraft, and the center of the circle has an attachment point to build vertical as well. Will certainly look forward to mixing it with the 2019 and 2022 modules. -

Possibily, as the next crewed moon landing is currently planned for December 2025, space will be in media for a while, especially if no problems/delays arise. -

I do like that new orange color more and more, while it's not a replacement for trans-neon orange, I think the new color will still work well for Ice Planet MOCs etc. -
And it comes in a small €10 set, Great , good expansion build to the Cat Hotel as well. I LOVE the farm sanctuary set, almost half the price of what the 2022 Organic Farm was, and looks generic enough to be used alongside the City animals as well (like a similar styled set to the old 2009 City farm), also a printed calf in another small set (autumns baby cow shed). Also saw a small pic of a karaoke set ( I suppose it was 42610: Karaoke Music Party) looked like it uses a similar design set to the 2023 "rooms" sets.

TeriXeri replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Creator buildable astronaut, is NOT a big space minifig, just cooincidence it was very similar price + piece count to the upscaled minifig , but still looks interesting if it has articulation. Dreamzzz space buggy is pretty cool, will likely fit well with fans of Space Police 3, flying space cars, I imagine the 2-in-1 feature is moving the wheels into their normal car position instead of thrusters. -
Prison island set looks interesting, I like the colors being different, more like the old Swamp Police, going back to Dark Blue and white , and no blue windows this time , only seen a small picture, so might have a cave system in the back as it's built on a rock. Police getting it's own Lambo like sports car as well :) Need to see more of fire station but it certainly looks different. Medical helicopter looks like it continues the 2022 color scheme but with the best design yet and no large 1 piece cockpit but a more of an Eurocopter EC-135 , very recognizable.
