You guys are both correct and thank you for the comments... the living room part was, for lack of a better excuse, just timing - I had about 10 minutes to set it up and completely forgot to close off the background. The build was definitely lacking parts, I hated the somewhat mismatched walls etc, hopefully I will obtain more bricks or will just figure out a better way of utilizing the ones I have. The pirates disappearing part - well they are still walking on the second story, they just left the courtyard to let Louis soak... BTW can someone please tell me how to link this entry to the main free build page? How do I do it without copy pasting the long URL? thanks

My first ship MOC. she has one large central cannon, two cannon ports towards the aft - with (currently) one smaller cannon and one more signal, close quarters cannon all the way astern. the cabin has a cot and a table with a map, bottle, and a light fixture. If anyone has an idea about the class of this ship... I would like to register it, but not sure as what class exactly, thank you

Greetings, I would like to introduce my character and to pledge his allegiance to the Empire of Oleon. I am new to MOCing, but have been a Lego enthusiast for a long time. Please bear with me as I learn new building styles as well as how the game is played, I am also learning how to use the site and spent an hour just figuring out how to post a photo (so be ready for dumb questions). I hope to participate fully, but I have a young kid and might not have as much time as I like for building. Thanks for the info guys, but I was talking about a "main intro" for the whole site, like some forums have... I will def post my intro in one of the factions soon. As far as bricklink... And general Lego purchases, I really like the Pirates theme, it's too bad that everything is discontinued, but I will build up my stash :)

Hi everyone... I have been reading this thread for a month now and finally got some time to actually join. I would like to be a full participant, but not sue if I'll have the time. This whole thing really got me back into Lego in general after many years away. I created a character and even a moc with a back story, but am currently figuring out Flickr and the way to post. I have always enjoyed Legos but never really moced before, so hopefully this will be a great learning opportunity...
