  1. Imagine how the underside of that ship looks. These are sets that belong in a Junior line. I had high hopes for these sets, but this is really bad. You can't even slightly adjust that Arena build so that you can buy multiple and have a decent one.
  2. Images of the Thor sets are out on Brickset. https://brickset.com/article/27818/thor-ragnarok-first-images#.WQcQjuK6WdA.facebook Really disappointing if you ask me.. Figs look great, but those builds..... Especially the ship.
  3. I've had a Jedi display, but the problem was that they are all so different and don't fit in with the troopers/species which all are the same. So that's why I decided to build the Jedi Council so that I can display them all in there haha.
  4. I've collected figs for a while now, but never had a good display for them. I've always wanted a display frame so when I recently saw one on Amazon.co.uk I just went for it.
  5. Brickvault has posted a video about this AT-AT (I assume this was the other youtuber you meant).
  6. Hmm guess we have to MOD that to a 6th animal and cover up the underside of the top with some plates/wedges. Too bad they didn't show us the set next to the Ferris Wheel. I think they did that to make it more realistic for Lego figures to get on an animal, but I would have rather seen another animal. I've seen some steps on carousels, but they're never used to get on a horse/animal/whatever thing you sit on.
  7. I think there is one more behind the elephant / in front of the frog as it is Flamingo - empty - Swan - empty - Tiger - empty - Frog - empty - Something - empty - Elephant - empty. But I don't get why the animals look so sad in all of their facial expressions (mostly eyes).
  8. Sounds more like a fanmade picture if you ask me.. The wording next to the MF looks off as I can't see TLG say things as 'slightly updated figures'. Besides that all of the text are basically already mentioned everywhere which makes it very easy to put it in a fake post. The UCS Falcon is coming, but we should all wait and see when and where.
  9. Alright, more pieces than the Ferris Wheel and the same price (which should be €190 here) so that's actually pretty cool. I wonder if they don't mention the 2014 Fairground set in the Press Release because it's retired or because it's not really matching with this and the Ferris Wheel.
  10. It looks really really good.. Looking forward to the price.
  11. The most expensive parts were the 6x12 wedge pieces (20 left 20 right in Dark Red and LBG) and the 3x8 tan wedge (mostly because they only came in a few sets and I bought them all from 1 seller to save me some trouble). Most of them are common parts. I think I Placed 4-5 small to mediumsized bl orders and used 10-20% of my own pieces. I think all together it was around €200-300, but I order parts for multiple projects at a time so I don't know for sure.
  12. Hahah good one. :p but I'm not really good with LDD (never get the hinge pieces to work as I want) so there is no LDD file. I tried making it easier by making those underside pictures rather than using the pictures from the Ideas site, but I know it isn't ideal. Unfortunatly not. We are still missing a few depending on the era. Here is a list of the Jedi: http://www.starwars.com/news/the-jedi-council-meet-the-masters Would love to see your version of the council when it's finished :)
  13. Thanks :) I could see Lego doing a smaller sized set like the Carbon Freezing Chamber with 3 seats, but since there are 12 seats on the council you would have to get at least four. Anyway, there are still some small details I need to adjust and add. After that I can focus on a new project :)
  14. Hi guys, Last week(s) I've been atempting to recreate the model that lojaco made as a Lego Ideas set (you can find that one here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/115367). I've made this moc just by looking at those pictures, but I want to give all the credit to this builder. I've made pictures while building this so you can see how it was constructed. 1. The beginning This is how it al started. Finding the wedge pieces in LBG and especially Dark Red was the most difficult. The underside is almost the same as the Palpatine Arrest set (9526) from 2012. 2. We're getting somewhere 3. Getting ready for the floor After building the above I found out the there should have been a LBG layer under the Dark Red wedges so I had to remove all of those again to place some LBG plates under. 4. Almost there 5. End result After a few weeks of waiting for the pieces and some days building I can show you my 95% build of the Jedi Council Chamber. There are still some pieces missing and I need to work on some things, but it's ready for the public haha. I've really liked working on this and trying to figure out which pieces went where, how it was constructed and building the moc. Once I'm finished completely I will make my own scenes, but for now I will use the scene that was used for the Lego Ideas project. Sorry for the backgrounds.. I should get a whiteboard, lamps and stuff like that.
  15. Just look at that Ahsoka, will we ever get another one? For me that is the figure of the year. So I vote Ahsoka.
  16. Yea I did see the videos for the Scarif moc, but he goes all in, which is very cool when you can, and that's something I can't do here with limited space. As for the Hoth scenes: Thanks. I always envy the big Hoth mocs, but always thought I looked too empty and/or dull. If I do something like this I want a very nice display model and that's why I made a 2500 piece 'underside of the eventual moc' (don't know what the correct word is.. Most people use the 2x4 rooftiles for this part of a moc). I want to start right now although I should finish other projects first :p
  17. Still need to find some time to build the 3rd, but I did make a 96x96 studs (80x80 cm) lay-out (on paper/LDD) as a display model with the 3 AT-AT, 2 AT-ST mods and some rebel trenches. Decided to go for a 'smaller' studs base as I would like to focus on the AT-ATs and Imperials. Will be posting pictures when I've completed it, but I think that could take a while haha.
  18. 130$ translates to €140-150.. it doesn't seem to have that many pieces to warrant that price. €80-90 looks more acceptable, but the set with Ahsoka was also €140. Good set tho!
  19. Hehe. First need to wait for some deal.. The 40% off makes it €41.96 here which is okayish, but don't know if Amazon.de matches the prices of the Lego store because they will be €35.99 in Germany..
  20. Alright thank you. The 2 sets together makes it somewhat better, but I think you should make it double in length as well plus making a bigger doors (2 next to each other is fine, but if you do that you should also make it taller). For that you need 2 more or just buy parts but who can resist more shoretroopers.. Of course you can make something all by yourself but I think they that a good job with the platform except for the size. Well then, 3 more Battle on Scarif sets it is.
  21. Has anyone ever tried modifien four (or more) 75171 Battle on Scarif sets into one build? Tempted to do this as a future project, but was wondering if it has been done before.
  22. Scarif and ATST are good ones to buy multiples off. The Xwing will be €60 here so thats still more expensive than some Amazon deals. Too bad the scarif deal is on may 6.
