    The new Auckland certified store did not get the halloween exclusive parts. It's pretty hectic there during the weekend, the accessories bucket already ran out of variations. How often do your local lego store refill the bucket?

    Here is my review on 76144 Avengers Hulk Helicopter Rescue. Our local retailers have started putting this on shelves. THE GOOD: Rescue minifigure, this is one excellent minifigure. Exclusive hulk although this version only made a very brief appearance in the movie. Stark Gauntlet! Very interesting way to build the helicopter compared to other typical Lego Choppers. THE NOT SO GOOD: Way too overpriced. The other minifigures are not that interesting. I wish they included scarlet witch instead of Black Widow. Leviathan larvae =( The helicopter doesn't look like a helicopter and the propeller doesn't spin smoothly. Not really representing any scenes in the actual movie. Overall, this is a very overpriced set. I bought it purely because I wanted the Rescue minifigure and the stark gauntlet and I was able to get this with 20% off. Having said that, the Resuce minifigure is excellent. The build of the helicopter is surprisingly refreshing even though it doesn't look like a helicopter. Other components in the set to me are just there to justify the price. I will only recommend to collector of MCU version of lego minifigures and only if you can get a discount.

    I would say yes. There lots of other great useful parts too. black friday and christmas clearance are coming soon, You might get 30% or more if you are lucky.

    I got as part of Free Promotion in Sept. The threshold was $129 NZD to qualify but I had other stuff to order so around total purchase waa $200NZD and got the free shipping as well.

    This applies to most hidden side minifigures, they are all great. Great to know all those histories on appliances. Thanks. it just the design of the stickers gave me this sci-fi feel.

    Here is my video review on the September Promo item 40336 Newbury Juice Bar: THE GOOD: A fully enclosed juice bar! Some nice ways on creating different drinks. Easy to fit in any other settings outside Hidden Side theme. Good minifigures. THE NOT SO GOOD: The slush ice machine a bit too futuristic compare to other components of the set. Overall, this is an excellent promotion set. I really like the juice bar and it's a nice surprise it is not just a facade type build given the size of it. With modifications this can easily be updated to any food stall. I just wish this set is more widely available given the promotion has ended for a while because I think this is a much better and complete set compared to the J.B.'s ghost lab. Totally recommended if you can get hold of one from ebay or bricklink with reasonable price if you have missed out the promotion in September.

    Here is my review on 70849 Wyld-Mayhem Star Fighter. THE GOOD: Excellent Minifigures. Love this Rex's face and they also include 2 hairs for Emmet. Some interest designs on the spaceship and I personally like the colour scheme. The bomber feature is excellent and interesting way to build it. THE NOT SO GOOD: Large stickers on a curved piece. (Easy to mess up with shaky hands) The price is about $10~$15 (NZD) too high at RRP. Limited availability in asia-pacific region. I really like this set in the end. The actual product is way better than in the photo. Yes, it's a bit overpriced but because I really like the minifigures & the bomber feature, these justified it for me. This is also a spaceship that is very different compared to common planes and spaceship builds you get from other theme. However, this set is not widely available in AUS & NZ (only from lego.com with limited availability), so if you live down under like me and really want to get hold of this, be quick. The other 2 sets from this wave are already sold out for quite a while. Overall, I will still recommend this set to fans of LEGO MOVIE or anyone looking for something different.

    yes, there parts I'm not sure what the purpose. very interested to see what's coming next year. Also good to store micro figures to make it looks like figure printer =)

    Bought this alongside with other few things last month for the juice bar promotion, here is my review: THE GOOD: Great minifigures. Some nice pieces. The details in parts of the lab is excellent and I like the 3D printers. THE NOT SO GOOD: Nothing much else happening in this set. Limited to lab settings outside Hidden Side theme. Some very hard to apply stickers. Overall, I think it's a good small set with great minifigures and some interesting part. If you just want a taste of Hidden Side, I will still recommend the Shrimp Boat one because that one is probably by far the best of Hidden Side in my opinion. Anyway, this set is still not bad although may be just $10 too expensive but you can easily get 20% off this.

    Finally finished the build and here is my review on 10267 Gingerbread House: THE GOOD: The Gingerbread House looks great and it surprisingly the right size! (The photo looks a bit over sized but love the end product.) New version of the Gingerbread Minifigure. Surprisingly detailed interior, love every aspects of it. Very great use of the new glittering pieces for the windows. Love the way the star is built on the Christmas tree THE NOT SO GOOD: The roof can be a bit of a hassle to put together. I wish there is an actual gingerbread baby figure. (Still happy with a printed piece but just wanted more) Overall, this is an excellent set and is one of the best winter village sets in recent years. I totally will recommend this to everyone. I absolutely love the look of it. Seriously thinking to buy another one to make a fully enclosed gingerbread house!

    After 2+ weeks wait, my order arrived! Pics here And realised I missed 2 thing I intended to order =( I had this before in August so ended up contacting customer service and sent my order to them in e-mail. Then I managed to order successfully only 2 weeks ago just before they did another shut down. Looks like it's not working again =( . Only one and a half month more until they closed for holiday season ....

    Is your order still In Warehouse? I'll probably chase up the Customer Service again tomorrow and hopefully have some answer but I don't know how they can track it since the order shipped out with no tracking.

    Anyone having issue with shipping time? I've got an order went through on the phone and shipped out 5th Sept, still not receiving it yet. That's a long time considering the shipping speed usually take less than 10 business days for NZ.

    a 16 characters with various new pieces and accessories will be nice, don't really care what theme as long as no more "RARE" figure.

    Here is my video on Hidden Side 70422 Shrimp Shack Attack: THE GOOD: The brick built shrimp sign is excellent. The shack looks great too. The kitchen is actually very detailed. Excellent Minifigures. THE NOT SO GOOD: The vehicle looks bad and not really needed. I do like this set and I think the shrimp shack itself looks great and I'm surprised with level of details they put into the kitchen. Again, all hidden side sets come with excellent minifigures. I like the design of one of the action feature, it does look quite bloody depending on your imagination. The price of this set ain't that bad either. Now removing the mediocre vehicle may have give this set even a lower price tag. Overall, it's a good set but not the best hidden side set, however I will still recommend this to anyone that like Hidden Side or a haunted theme in general. Personally, the shack also ignite ideas on how different kitchen can be built.

    Here is my review on this set: THE GOOD: Ross minifigure is excellent. Very very interesting ways to build the carpet floors. Great Seats/Couches build. Love the keyboard. Excellent interior. THE NOT SO GOOD: Phoebe minifigure is big off compared to the other ones. I wish they printed other small piece given they printed the menu of the cafe. Overall, i think this is an excellent set with a very very reasonable price. (Which is hard to come by recently) The build itself has lots of surprising way in building different elements. The minifigures are excellent too except may be Phoebe but hey, I won't complain since they did Ross very well. I would recommend this set to everyone even you are not a fan of the TV series. By the way, am I the only one think the Rachel minifigure looks like Jennifer Aniston in "We Are The Millers" more than rachel? XD

    I love the dog sitter, cant get enough LEGO poop. I was surprised with the Fright Knight. I like this series to be honest with lots of useful faces and accessories.

    Apparently Asia Pacific will not have wide release for the final 3 LEGO Movie 2 sets because the Jianxing Factory/Distribution Centre is not producing the sets. I just got mine from LEGO shop@home sent from Melbourne and its the EU version. Hence the limited availability.
