Haha yea the spider buggy would be cool if itβs the only buggy I have. Some similar buggies in other themes simply surpassed it.

Bought this before the lockdown and here is my review on 76163 Venom Crawler. THE GOOD: IRON VENOM! The helmet is exceptionally well-done. The Venom Crawler build is interesting if you haven't buy any sets with similar design. THE NOT SO GOOD: The Carnage's accessories just seems lazy. The Venom Crawler action features doesn't work as smooth as I would like to. Also the torso of the venom crawler a big too rectangular/square-ish. Overall, it's really a set to sell IRON VENOM. It's an excellent minifigure. I didn't buy any Spider-man set from last year so I feel I got more than just IRON VENOM. Otherwise it may not worth the price if you have something similar already. It will be way better if this includes a new variance of spiderman or carnage too.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Pchan1983 replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Managed to get the Safari Off-Roader at 40% off before the lockdown. Before I bought this, I saw other reviews and criticised the use of stickers but man, it turned out to be perfect. Loved this set and the new lioness. -

Just opened the Fairground Minifigure Accessories Set, love the unicorn print on the torso. Also it's nice they included silver studs for the stud shooter. Loving it =P -
As a fan of the MCU, have to get this set day one. Here is my video review on 76162 Black Widow's Helicopter Chase. THE GOOD: Excellent minifigures. Especially Black Widow's torso! Great looking helicopter. It lacks interior but it's one of the better helicopter in recent years. Boxart ... I think this has set new standard in box art. THE NOT SO GOOD: Would be nice to have specialised piece for Taskmaster's shield. May be include Red Guardian in the set as well. Overall, I think this set is huge improvement compared to the Endgame sets. The build is good and the minifigures are excellent especially Natasha (A brand new hair piece and head print would even be better but one can never ask too much). To my surprise the actual task master minifigure is looking way better than in photo. It's a shame they didn't include Red Guardian but all good for me as I'm very happy with this set. I'm not usually a fan of Lego Helicopter but I do like this one. This set also is a good example on how to use stickers while not being excessive. And I absolutely love the box art. The price ain't that bad considering the overall building experience and end results. I would totally recommend this set to everyone especially to MCU fans.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
Pchan1983 replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I actually like the series. Red ranger.... now how many years we have to wait to get a full team? 5 years minimum, I don't know if I have patience for that XD. -
Finally got time to open some of my 2020 Hidden Side purchases. Here is my reivew on 70432 Haunted Fairground. THE GOOD: The minifigures are excellent. Especially the clown with tall hat, he looks so creepy at time. Nice touch on the interior of the ticket booth. Interesting use of parts to create the clown face. THE NOT SO GOOD: For long time collectors like me, the design of this set lack freshness. The drop ride action feature doesn't work that well. I do wish the drop ride could separated from the coaster in a modular way or detachable. Overall, I think this set is ok. Not excellent nor rubbish. I guess it's always difficult to have roller coaster at this price point, I wonder if there are any fairground ride would gives this more freshness. It's a shame the action feature doesn't work too well or may be it was just not using correctly. And this set is surprisingly taking up lots of space, it's not a huge set but the total width and height takes up lots of space. Despite the flaw, the minifigures in this set are excellent, the clowns sealed the deal for me. I will recommend this for new collectors and for long time collectors, I suggest wait for a discount or just get the minifigures individually.

It's from Denmark given I got previous order from Denmark and I'm in NZ. The latest order however, was from Germany. My big order arrived... unfortunately, they missed 18 of the printed tiles from CNY sets but they accidentally included 200 x of the new jumper piece from DC minifigures .... hmmm More And 100 x poops XD -

COVID-19 and will it impact Lego's profits?
Pchan1983 replied to AMD's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think there will be impact for ASPAC region if the epidemic continues for few months. Reason is that nowadays most sets in ASPAC are from the packing/distribution centre from CHINA, if that location is incapacitated then in the long run ASPAC region may have increased price or delayed release if supplies sourcing from Europe or America. -

NICE Review! I found the roof interesting. love the steps. And more importantly, it's not a gift with purchase. Sometimes, I rather just spent the money on one small set than trying hard to reach the threshold.

LEGO Service uses typical air mail, depending on the size of your order it is mostly sent as letter. I usually get it within 10 business day. (More now due to reduced postie run) I guess AUS will be similar. -
The new Easter parts are now available at the auckland Lego certifies store. By the way, does everyone wipe/clean the parts you get from BAM tower when you got home? I do cause sometime it can be oily.

No but in Auckland because of the reduced amount of mails in recent times so they only do 3 deliveries a week. Only tracked parcels get daily deliveries, -

Great to see everyone's order arriving. I'm still waiting for mine that shipped on 22nd Jan. Problem is in my neighbourhood, the postman only deliver on Tue, Thu and Sat =( -
I just built it and yes there are some flaws but still great. The side of the wall of the apartment is a let down with the fireplace bricks showing but it's ok, it's common in the series. I really like some of the exterior designs although it took be ages to align every thing. Overall, I like it. One last thing, can LEGO releases the same printed tiles for other numbers instead of just 107? would love to build a street of a similar apartment! Oh poor minifigures that will need to find toilets in case of need =P

LEGO Speed Champions 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Built the F8 Tributo recently. I actually like the 8 studs wide design. Love the new printed canopy and the shield piece with black printing. I wonder if there is anyway to make the steering at the right position with a dashboard .... hmmm Anyway, very happy with the new F8 Tributo. -
Just opened my Gamer's Market and loving the Kill Bill reference. And I was blown away from some of the new pieces and so many of them in this set. By the way, anyone have thoughts on how to utilise the additional stickers?
