  1. I notice there are now a couple of decals whose names start with "xx". Do those show up in the program, despite having non-numerical characters? If so, do any other characters work?
  2. Alternately, it's the 2,002th planet of any kind discovered, which was subsequently determined to be a icy and labeled accordingly ("Ice [Planet 2002]" vs "[Ice Planet] 2002"). Syntactic ambiguity is fun. The one thing we know it isn't is a planet made out of Ice-2002 (which is like Ice-9, only much more so. Probably), as that would be "Ice 2002 Planet" (whereas "2002 Planet Ice" is I guess maybe a brand of vodka or something).
  3. Ooh, so that might imply that there's also, like, a Desert Planet team and a Swamp Planet team, etc. that never actually appeared in the sets or tie-in stories.
  4. I'd wager that Ice Planet isn't its own faction but a specialized team belonging to the Space faction. Everything about them (their clothing, the sort of equipment they carry) is geared towards the specific needs of living on just the planet Krysto and nowhere else, but also seems to indicate that it's a place they're exploring, not their home. Maybe some sort of long term scientific expedition with permanent or semi-permanent bases, but not full scale colonization. Plus, their logo is clearly a variant of the Space logo, which is sort of like how NASA mission patches often incorporate the pre-existing iconography of NASA and of the United States into a design that's otherwise unique to the mission (and usually adds some additional symbolism pertaining to what the mission is about, like the icicles and the icy color scheme). They do something similar in the military, though I'm a bit unclear on just what sorts of units get their own insignias (besides, they don't really seem to be military anyway).
  5. Great use of cover to really sell the posing. And I love the thingamabob.
  6. Now, if there were a superhero called Hibiscus Man... or possibly Lily Man? I don't know flowers, I'm just pareidoliizing. Which is the thing that is shaped like how the thing that that thing is shaped like is shaped?
  7. Disemhulled, perhaps? Disemchassied?
  8. I'll admit, I'm intimidated
  9. Thanks. I figured it was something like that, but I was having a devil of a time trying to eyeball it.
  10. Could we get a UV map for 87079 (Tile 2x4) in the next update? I thought a big flat rectangle would be simple to decorate, but for some reason it's throwing me for a loop. I've got two decorations, both exactly 1024x1024 px, but for some reason as far as I can tell they seem to apply themselves differently.
  11. It's been fixed. It's just that you have to manually replace every bugged torso in every one of your builds with a new, non-bugged one from the parts list in order to see the difference. Or that's been my experience, anyway.
  12. Did you ever find a solution for that? I've been having the same trouble for ages.
  13. I've redone my classic Pirates and Space decorations in the new format, which you can find here. I didn't redo the 2x2 tile (which hasn't had its format changed), the flag (which I'm pretty sure hasn't had its format changed) or the pirate captain hat (which I'm unsure about), so I didn't include them in the zip file, but let me know if I should redo those too, or if you'd just like me to reshare them.
  14. Speaking of, I've been (possibly inconsistently) having the same or similar issue with the hands on just the bog standard minifig torsos (76382). Took me a while to notice because I was just re-doing decals, not building, but it's there. This only seems to happen with the regular torsos, NOT the torsos with the dual-molded arms, long arms, various hooks or gloves or other alternate hands, or even the Garmagon-style torso extensions, even though those have the same arms and the same hands.
  15. Thank god for easy fixes EDIT: Now I feel like an idiot. I just noticed I'd already been using that fix in my previous numbering scheme, and I'd forgotten why I was doing it.
  16. So all I have to do is replace the first 0 with some other digit?
  17. I just discovered a really weird bug, though I'm not sure if it's exclusive to the modded version of LDD or not. I created a custom decal for part 17485 and assigned it the number "000000005", but when I tried to apply it in the program, I couldn't find it. After a bit of experimentation, I discovered that this was because the modded decal "000005" was appearing in its place. I would not expect a computer to confuse those two numbers. Or any two numbers, really. Decals "000000001", "000000002", "000000003", "000000004", and "000000006" worked without issue, but then, there are no decals "000001", "000002", "000003", "000004", and "000006" to confuse them with.
  18. Looks like torsos in old builds are still getting deleted, though the problem is noticeably much less common now. That horrifyingly long list of possible suspects I put together a while back has gotten a heck of a lot shorter. Though for some reason I've got a couple minifigs with no neck or waist accessories that weren't holding anything that have had their torsos disappear anyway, which is a bit of a head-scratcher. And now the satyr legs (24323) are vanishing from almost every (or possibly every) minifig that features them.
  19. Whoo-wie, five rars worth of content! A veritable colossus. Looks like most of the bugs with the new torsos have been ironed out too. Very cat-centric, I notice. Was that a creative decision, or did it just sorta work out that way?
  20. Wow, that's like six and a half weeks. That's much longer than I was assuming the early access period was, but I'm glad to hear that everything's on track and it was just a breakdown in communication. Personally, I would've mentioned the release date (and the fact that it was in the future) in the announcement itself. 'Cause just writing "not available" on an actual working and entirely available download link which is labeled as if it were indeed the update mentioned in the post, but is actually just a duplicate of the previous update is super confusing. (To clarify: I'm much more happy and relieved than I am frustrated. The thing I'm frustrated about is just made out of more words).
  21. I have a question about the new parts packs. Are these separated from the main update because, like the sticker packs, they're likely to cause conflicts with parts added in future normal updates?
  22. Hmm... looks like the latest update isn't on there yet. Wonder what's going on.
  23. They changed the format so that a single image can be used to decorate all sides of a piece, but they haven't updated all the decorations to match yet. Or at least, they hadn't updated them yet in that particular update. The June update might've finally done it.
  24. Yeah, there is one. It's easier to check because the update announcements are front and center, whereas on the thread they can sometimes get buried in other comments if you don't check often enough.
