that's right ... had I bought the AT-AP ... I bought the AT-AT, as I said ;-) :-P I'm not stupid ...

I noticed that Argos in the UK have 25% off all Lego at the moment. Combined to that, they will give you a £10 voucher when you spend £100 or £5 voucher when you spend £50. Therefore, today, I bought the Rogue Shadow and AT-AT for a combined £105 (reduced from £140) and got a £10 voucher which then enabled me to buy the JSF for just £4.99 :D Bargains ... this completes my purchasing of current sets ... now I just need somewhere to put em ;) {edit} sorry if this didn't deserve it's own thread ...

I think the questions are mis-leading ... the answer is clearly "yes" and "yes" ... afterall, how could I pass on a chance to get a load of figures for not a lot of money ... but I know that it will never happen for the various reasons already stated, so in reality, answering "yes" will make no difference at all!

Surely the only reason people want a Star Wars Chess set is to get a truck load of figures on the cheap ?! The fact that you can play chess with such a set is a by-product ... how many people actually use the current chess sets for playing chess ?!

whilst a Chess set is not just figures ... it is a board game and other manufacturers hold the licence to make Star Wars themed board games. So, as was said above ... unless that changes, Lego can't produce a SW Chess set.

Sorry ... what are you asking about ... Episode I (as in your post) or Episode II (as in the title) ?! Anyway ... Lego have made PLENTY of sets from Episode I and Episode II and indeed Episode III !! perhaps you better do your research in future?!
