  1. That's interesting. Is it easy to feel the minifigure packet, so you can tell which figure the magazine comes with?
  2. Excellent lighting, and the details you've included are nice, too. I'm not a fan of custom decals, but your's look quite good. Well done, I look forward to your next vignette or modification!
  3. I never actually knew about that, because I was still coming out of my Dark Ages when they were out. I really hope Alien Conquest's availabl here, because it has some fantastic sets that I'm considering getting.
  4. Agreed (if I have the cash, that is!). So Blackbeard's hat is detachable? That's quite good, because his hat is great.
  5. I've been looking at images of the Captain's Cabin, and I've realised that if you make a few mods to the shelf (take it off the base, remove the clips and bones from the side), you could actually decorate the cabin of the QAR! If I ever get both sets (which I highly doubt due to money and other sets) I'll definetely do that, so that Blackbeard can have a proper cabin, not just a desk.
  6. So it appears we, unlike the Americans, won't be getting the PotC, Alien Conquest or the new City sets this month .
  7. Great museum, TooMuchCaffeine! There's so much to love about this. Great work, and good luck!
  8. Sounds interesting! If they are making these, I'm really looking forward to the underwater one. Imagine the creatures and plants they'd make!
  9. Thanks for those pictures, eiker86! The cabin is pretty disappointing, but the rest of the ship is nice. The box looks surprisingly small. It's a shame about Angelica's hat being connected, but we get her hairpiece without the hat on Syrena anyway. I look forward to more pictures! EDIT: You posted the new pictures just after I posted this. Thanks for them!
  10. That's funny, because the mermaids are the things I'm looking forward to most! I've always loved mermaids, so I was really happy when I heard Whitecap Bay were going to have some of them.
  11. Thanks. Those seem quite fair, but I'll only be able to get the Forbidden Forest.
  12. Wow, that's really impressive! It looks great in blue. The interiors are a little bare, but the exterior makes up for it. Good work, Follows Closely!
  13. I must say, I'm really looking forward to this film. It's got a great cast, and the storyline sounds interesting. Hopefully when I go see it it'll put me in the mood to make some PotC MOC's!
  14. Mine still hasn't. And it's not growing at the moment, either. Recently, the only LEGO I've been buying is CM's, because they're all I can afford! When I plan MOC's, they look really great, but when I get round to building it I just don't have the parts. I do have a lot of bricks, but they're just not the ones I need.
  15. Well that's a relief. I was unsure whether it was normal to have stickers at the toy fairs because I've never been to or seen pictures of them before. I hope that this new head does have a reverse face though, because it would look wierd if she was happy when she had an alien sucking out her brain .
  16. Good job, Prateek! The exterior design is nice, and the interior is even nicer. I love the kitchen and the chairs in the living room. The bedroom is great, and the attic office was a great idea. Well done!
  17. I was looking through some pictures from the NY toy fair, and the news reporter's torso appears to be decorated with a sticker ! I don't know if this is normal for a toy fair, or if this is actually going to happen with the final figure. Also, why does she have a different head at the NY fair from at the Nuremberg?
  18. That's a great MOC, Follows Closely! You should post it in it's own topic when you're done. Just out of interest, how close would you say that your MOC is to the official model?
  19. This just keeps getting better and better! The new bridge is great, and the rock formations are good too. Is the sand area going to be a house? A mountain? A prison? I don't know what it's going to be, but I'm sure it'll be great. Keep up the good work !
  20. Everything! From being able to share your MOC's, to having every proper bit of news on new LEGO sets, to the fact that everyone on here is an adult. I love how organised it is. All the themes are in their own forum, with it's own members of staff to keep everything in order. If there's anyone breaking rules, they get taken off so that the rest of us don't have to put up with nonsense. Other LEGO sites don't really have rules, so unruly children often go onto them and behave in an uncivilised way. Here, the staff actually care about TLG. If LEGO ask them to take something down, they do it. They don't post prelims here because they know TLG don't like it. The pictorial reviews are one of the main things I love. They give us a chance to see what we're getting when we buy. They're usually also quite entertaining to read, with the comments from the author. I also love the Mafia games! I've only played in one, but I loved every second of it. Although it's not necessarily LEGO, it's fun to play, and they are run vey well. The contests are great. It's so good of the staff to do them and let people get free LEGO. I also like how we can trade with other members, so we can get the parts we want. So, yes, I love everything about Eurobricks!
  21. Sorry . These colours are just so confusing. I don't know how on Earth you remember all the names, never mind the numbers!
  22. Well I suppose that's better than it being the exact same colour, but I'd rather it was light yellow, black or dark red. But I'd rather that the zookeeper's hair was the same old colour than the dancer's hair being the same colour. The ponytail has been seen in dark orange and light nougat, which I'm very happy about, but the dancer's hair has only been seen in that colour. Anyway, thanks for that news. I'm now a little bit more excited about this series than before.
  23. I suppose you're right. I don't like buying online, and the spinner set comes with more than just the figure. If I see it I'll pick it up.
  24. Thanks Grogall for those great new pictures! I really like the new Hillside House, it looks so nice and modern. The lighthouse is also vey nice. But shouldn't those pictures be in the "2011 Creator Discussion Thread"?
  25. This is shaping up to be a really great town! I love how it's all so smooth and clean. The interior details of the shops are brilliant. Your decals look grea, too. The only thing I'd change would be those billboards; it looks odd how they advertise real things, with real humans on them. Good work, I really look forward to seeing this finished!
