LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
Gregorovich replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was hoping you lived near me, so that there was minifigs near me. It's funny though because I'm playing Geert Rotterdam in a mafia game . -

What country and town are you in? I'm still waiting for them to arrive in Hamilton . -

Thanks for the link to the review, vagrant! That set is very good, but I'm probably not going to get it because there's not that many parts that I'm interested in. -
Why do you collect the Collectible Minifigures?
Gregorovich replied to thegurumb's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Because of their brilliant new face prints, torso prints, hair pieces, legs and accessories. It's fun to try and collect them (although it can sometimes be disappointing when you don't get the ones you want). They allow you to get great minifigures in a cheap way. They are minifigures which would never be made otherwise, and so they allow you to use them in your own creations. Basically, because they are absolutely fantastic! Hopefully that answers your question ! -
Great MOC, Matn! The play feature is excellent, and the furniture in the room is also great. It was a great idea for an MOC, very original. Well done!

I'm sure most of us have been to a house party at some point in our lives. Some people love them, whereas others (like me) don't like them as much. There's always loads of mess, loud music, and, of course, drunks. I made this Vignette showing some of the things I've seen at house parties. It was fun to make, and I hope you like it! As you can see, there's some young minifigures doing various things. There's some people dressed up, drinking alcohol and dancing around. And of course, the one who goes too far with the booze and ends up vomiting all over the place. There's the guy wearing a ridiculous costume he's found somewhere, and a girl enjoying a drink. They're both pretty drunk, and so have removed some of the clothes they were wearing when they arrived. Now there's the boy wearing luminous facepaint and drinking. Next to him, on all fours, is the girl who's not even old enough to be drinking, has had too much, and has spewed all over the host's floor. They've also knocked over the home owners fruit bowl and table. Hope you liked it! C&C are welcome, but I can't alter it because it's already been demolished. Thanks for taking the time to look!

I love everything about this MOC! It's so detailed and original, with excellent building techniques. Well done!

...when the first thing you do every morning is hurt your foot on a LEGO brick! ...when you know characters from films because they've been made into minifigures! ...when you can imagine what LEGO pieces real life objects and people would be made from!

Dongl, that's a really, really, really great MOC! There's so much excellent details. The only thing I'd change though are the swimming trunks on the statues, they just look a little odd. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Who is it that you think may be scum, and why? If you don't want to say it publicly, please talk to me privately. -

I see that today it only takes 5 votes for a conviction. Does that mean if someone gets a penalty for something they'll automatically be convicted? -
D2C Contest: 10234 Ignacia Village
Gregorovich replied to quy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Excellent idea, it's very original. The buildings are beautiful, and look as thouh they could appear in real sets. I think that the interiors of the buildings are a little empty though. Well done, and good luck with the contest! -
I love everything about this MOC, Inkog! The level of detail is amazing, you should be really proud of yourself. This is your first MOC, and it's far better than anything I've ever built. Well done, and welcome to Eurobricks!

Oh, sorry ! I just thought because you posted the link that it was you doing the review. -
I really like this. It would fit in perfectly with any classic town sets, as it uses great bright colours. The details are great, especially the sliding doors. It looks a bit empty inside, but hopefully you'll fill it up. This has inspired me to plan my own supermarket, but due to my small collection it most likely won't get built. Thanks for sharing, and well done!

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Five

Well, who made the weakest claim? I think that I proved my innocence quite well, but if anyone still doubts me I will prove to you that I am innocent. -

I look forward to seeing the rest of the reviews, vagrant! I'm most looking forward to the Whitecap Bay review, because I'd like to see more photos of those beautiful mermaid figures. May I ask where you got these sets? -

I've been thinking about everyone who is on the island, and there's no one I find suspicious at all. Colette, is there anyone still alive that isn't trusted by the rest of you? -
Tia Dalma's voodoo shack would be a great MOC. I also think that the big fight in the pub/bar would be good. You could expand on the Cannibal Island set and make a big rainforest with cliffs and a beach, but that would probably be quite difficult. Whatever you make, I'm sure it'll look good and be fun to build.

I really love the murky water and all the vines and weeds. The details are all excellent, and I love the interior! The only thing I'd change would be to take the stone tower off the top; it looks quite odd. Well done!

Does anyone know when these will arrive at Argos and WHSmith? Could someone possibly ask a shop assistant? I'd do it, but my dad's taken the car with him on a business trip, and the town centre's quite a long walk from my house. -

To all of those who still don't believe me, Colette has explained why I didn't vote. In our private conversation, I agreed to vote but didn't get to because the conclusion had already been reached when I returned to the room. I also provided her with a statement which I think proved my innocence. I thought that Colette had shared it with the people she trusts? So if you're still suspecting me, then I'm guessing that you're not in with the rest of us innocents, or Colette just hasn't shared my statement with you yet. If you'd like to hear it, you can speak with me privately. -

Yes, I agree. Now I know who I can trust, and hopefully the other innocents know that they can trust me. Thanks and well done for doing such a great job of organising us all, Colette . -

Day Five is great! I really love the drowned body in the pool, and how the heads have began to rot. Well done! It's a shame about you being killed off, CommanderFox. You played really well. Same goes for you, Dan the Brickman. You'll both be sadly missed! -

Hooray! Yet another scumbag has been killed! I was going to vote for Danielle, but the conviction had already been reached. It doesn't matter though, as long as she's been killed. It's a terrible shame about Cruz, though. He was a really great participant.
