  1. Very nice although the vegetation looks a little overdone to what I can remember in the episode. Also would have liked to see a MOC of the Imperial landing craft seen in the episode which hasn't been available in an official lego set. This could easily be expanded with the addition of the Jedi "temple" at the top of the hill.
  2. All at RRP though - I'm happy to wait a bit to see Kmart's prices/wait for a discount on these.
  3. So Lego have decided to reopen orders for the Round 1 Bricklink sets *except* for Castle in the Forest which has apparently already sold 10,000 copies despite an initial limit of 5,000? Weird plus why leave money on the table if demand is there?
  4. January 2022 rumour list - accuracy not guaranteed: leaking insider on Instagram: “Keep in mind that this is just from what I've heard, very possible it could change #legoleaks #legostarwars2022” Liking the Imperial Remnant battlepack (hopefully the officer is the female one from the series). Also a cheap way to get Moff Gideon means I could avoid purchasing the Light Cruiser as he's really the only fig that appeals if the Dark Troopers are also available elsewhere...although I do like the ship it's way overpriced. Not much else appeals.
  5. I'm a Roman history nut but that pretty much sums up my feelings about this set (+ where do I put it?). Now a minifig-based arena set with gladiators, an emperor, wild beasts etc would be great (I have the Playmobil arena and that's fantastic).
  6. Instantly selling out of adult-focused sets that likely have a relatively small print run does not necessarily mean there's a hunger among kids for a whole new mass-produced castle line sadly. Certainly my kids don't have a huge appetite for castle/pirate/classic space focused sets - they prefer Ninjago, Star Wars, Superheroes, Minecraft, Monkie Kid etc
  7. No doubt given the Book of Boba Fett releases in December. I'm hoping for a new Jabba's Palace (although that would also be a good candidate for next year's MBS set).
  8. I like the new Boba fig but won’t be buying a new Slave I just to get my hands on him, especially as there are sure to be Book of Boba Fett sets due out at some stage.
  9. Will definitely be getting the ITT and possibly Gideon’s Cruiser. No need for another Slave I as I already have 2 iterations. Would have been tempted if they’d given Mandalorian Boba the Bombur gut piece though…
  10. I've seen 75280 on shelves at Myer and EB Games in the last few months, so it's definitely possible to pick up at retail albeit rarer than most sets. As you've said, I suspect army builders have been snapping them up whereas most other sets don't make much sense to buy multiples of which is why they're more visibly available.
  11. I got 501st BP, Knightbuzzard and Final Duel all at 20% off or better near release, so if you're a little patient you should be able to pick up this year's "Summer wave" at a discount before they disappear. FYI ATAT is available right now on Amazon for 33% off and they still have the Nightbuzzard almost 20% off too. It seems after Xmas supply tends to drop off a bit on some of these sets but if you buy before then you should be ok.
  12. Hasbro is apparently releasing a new Cara Dune action figure later this year, so I doubt the actress' excommunication is going to have any impact on products already in the production pipeline. I like the new Scout Trooper helmet. Darth Vader I'd need a better look at. Probe droid looks ok but is not something I need in my life.
  13. Seems odd to me that they'd do a UCS ATAT when a playset version is still available - although I guess that's happened before with the Falcon and probably the X-wing and possibly others.
  14. Have Lego discontinued this piece?: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30176#T=C I rebuilt an older set last year and found that quite a few of the fronds on these pieces snapped off in transit when I moved house. Most of the new sets seem to have the flat, three-frond pieces now.
  15. Sets I want are Imperial Troop Transport and Moff Gideon's Cruiser (to go with my Imperial and First Order Star Destroyers). $349 is around the cost of the last couple of MBS sets (which would leave the Gunship at $200). I'd like an Endor bunker, Jabba's Palace or even Episode II arena if they go that way.
  16. Guess it's just the Mando set for me. I don't like the new TF at all (although are those vertical streaks on the pilot helmet new?) - it's just too squat. No point getting the new shuttle either as the 2015 version is clearly more detailed/larger and the figs included I already have from other sets. Guess the Xwing isn't terrible but I only collect bad guy stuff generally.
  17. The Xwing and Microfighter don't interest me, and I prefer the minifgs and look of the 2012 Tie Fighter that I already have (this one just looks stumpy like the 4+ version). Will definitely be getting the Mando set but otherwise looks like a cheap wave for me. Hopefully it will be available before Xmas.
  18. For the Mandalorian, I'd like an Imperial Troop Transport (either the one from S1E7 or the one with extra guns on the side from S2E4 would be great) or Gideon's cruiser/Star Destroyer variant also from S2E4. A new Gozanti Cruiser would also be good. Also a set with the Client and some (rusty) Remnant Stormtroopers would be nice.
  19. Cool set - will definitely be getting as long as one of my boys doesn't beg me for it first. Arm printing for first Vader and now the Mando - what's next? Dual-moulded legs as standard?
  20. Will be getting this for sure (either for myself or one of my sons). I already have both torso variants for the "new" Tuskens and I doubt they will make a new one for this set but Beskar Mando and the Child in a cheap set I'm all for.
  21. I'd rather have an ITT with Moff Gideon and some Imperial troops than one with Mando and his mates. A set with the two speeders in S2E1, their riders and hopefully the Child and/or a Tusken would be great.
  22. Glad I didn't hold off buying the Cantina - those Yoda's lightsabers are going for crazy prices on EBAY - mine's at nearly $100 already with 5 days to go on the auction. Nice little discount on the Cantina along with the VIP points.
  23. Based on the review alone - I'd probably give this a 9/10. Having a number of new alien minifigs is great but they really should have taken the opportunity to upgrade a couple of the Mos Eisley Cantina set stalwarts like Han, Greedo (where's my arm printing TLG!), Sandtroopers etc. I feel Betrayal at Cloud City was better in terms of minifigs in that you got Boba with arm printing, dual-moulded legs for Han etc. I don't like how this set renders the 2018 version completely obsolete either, given all the figs from that set are exactly the same here and Greedo's ship is virtually identical. At least the 2014 version had Luke's Landspeeder, more Bith, a Dewback with different printing, different Obiwan and Greedo minifigs etc.
  24. Looks ok - happy to have any landspeeder that isn't Luke's personally.
  25. Razor Crest review - if you can handle a very Aussie accent:
