I would like to see some sets with Fives and Echo in their ARC armour, plus Even Piell. Possibly the ship that transported the carbonite frozen characters to Lola Sayu in the citadel episodes of TCW. It could come with R2, Fives and Echo, and Even Piell, with carbonite versions of the everyone, minus R2 and Master Piell. It would be really cool, I think. Also, if the ship itself is too small, TLG could add a brickbuilt crab droid. That would be really cool.

Those pics of the figs are nice to have. Its upsetting that Leia has Tamina's face. But, Ithink the one fig that surpasses all my expectations is Wolffe! He is amazing! The face print is just the best! The best from the CW at least.

Seeing as you've seen the film, I have a question. You may not have noticed, but how prominent of a role did acoustic guitars lay in the music? I have the soundtrack for the movie, and there is a fair mix of classic Hans Zimmer music, but also a fair bit of acoustic stuff. Sorry if this is off topic. As for another wave, we may have only rumours, but I would not be surprised to see at least one more wave from this them. I could see TLG going down the same route with this as they did with Indy. Have about 8 sets based on the classic films and the new one, and then the next year, have another wave with a fair assortment from each of the films. I hope we get some AWE sets. Possibly, if the Pearl is based on DMC, the Dutchman could be based on AWE. -
Personally, I like the second and third movies much more than the first. I think they told a much better story. It just felt more rich. Also, Davy Jones ranks up there as one of the best villains ever. The first was good, but it just set the stage. The second and third, I thought, was when the story really got good. Now that I think of it, they should call it quits. This fourth one hopefully will leave it open ended, but not introduce a new quest, like the Aqua de Vida did in AWE. They should just leave the characters off to new adventures, and allow the fans to make up whatever fates they wish for Jack and Barbossa. Also, if they made a fifth, who would be the villain? And what is the plot? If they made a fifth, it could just be a way of giving Jack a proper happily ever after (on the Pearl with lots of rum), and Barbossa should, in my opinion, permanently die. He is just one of those sorts of characters who doesn't really deserve all of the happy ending stuff.

I could see them making a second trilogy. Even though this fourth movie has been getting pretty bad reviews, they will still try to make them. If they do, it will become the POTC version of the Star Wars prequels. They will not be as good, but they will be there, and part of the story. I have not yet seen the new film yet myself, but I have been reading some stuff and I kinda know how it ends. I won't give anything away, but it could have a sequel.

This i san awesome review for an awesome set! Great work. When the first pics of these new HP sets surfaced a few months back, I didn't think that this set was gonna be this cheap! It has a great selection of main characters! Although Harry is n his uniform, which I believe is not accurate to the scene. Its great that TLG has put Voldy in such a cheap set, although I already have him from the Hogwarts set, people who missed out back in the fall will get him now. Also, Hagrid is now in a much cheaper set, which is nice (again I already have him). The true standout fig here is Narscissa Malfoy. Just beautiful! The hairpiece is perfect! Is this the first time TLG has made hair with two colours in it before? Like I said, great review!

I knew they were doing this when I first learned that the Deathly Hallows was being split into two films. They purposely made the first game the first four films because then the two games would have an equal amount of levels. I'm interested to hear more about this new game, and I'm especially excited to see how they do the much darker parts of the films (Harry being possessed by Voldy, Dumbledore's death, pretty much all of the DH Part 1).

I'm sorry, but I believe you are talking about Mustafar, not Geonosis. Anakin and Obi-Wan never fought each other on Geonosis, but they did both fight Dooku there. Just clearing that up.

What isn't open anymore? I might have missed something, but to me this sounds like your saying that the new LEGO Store that just opened in Sherway Gardens is now closed. This seems rather improbable.

Even though Ki is rather ugly, he still looks rather good. The face is pretty well done. The head bit is a bit too tall, I think. It would have been better if TLG had put printing on a flesh version of the fez hat piece, and then done the ponytail in a similar way as Aurra's.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Fives replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I could imagine that if they run out of enough ideas for 16 unique figs per series, they could start releasing less figs each series, but each series will have it's own theme. So say, there are like 7 or 8 figs per series, and they are all History based, or Sci-Fi based, or something like that. It would be a neat idea. -
I emptied my cache and everything is fine now. Thanks for the help everyone!

What did you ask when you wanted the coins in chrome? I would like to call and get these pieces. I have the Isla de Muerta and Whitecap Bay, and woud like to have both versions of the treasure.

I just saw, on a non-LEGO website (I know, blasphemy!) and saw a picture of an upcoming Hasbro figure of Plo Koon in a snow outfit. It had a really cool mask too. I think this is based off of one of TCW comics, but It would make a really cool fig. Just a thought... Also, we really need some commando droids, and possibly a new vibro blade piece. It would be better than the plain old pirate cutlass. Possibly a set with the Trident-Drill ship with some commandos (maybe two) and two new aqua droids. It would be nice to have some more variety within the ranks of the Seppy army. I mean, BDs and SBDs are cool only for so long.

I'm on a Mac, so I have Safari. I'll try cleaning my cache and see if that helps. EDIT: I just cleaned my history. That did nothing.

Hello, everyone. For the past couple of days now, my profile EB account has been acting strange. My name drop-down menu thing where I can access my profile and such is always down, and won't go up, and the emoticons are not on the side of the text box when I'm posting, but rather on the bottom with only a few of them there. Does anyone know what the heck is going on?

Yes the compass played a role in every movie. In the first, it's magical abilities of "pointing to what you want most" was not introduced yet, but it was believed that the compass led to the Isla de Muerta only. In the second it had a much larger role, because of the whole magic compass thing, and in the third, although it's role is rather small, at the end of the third movie, it points Jack in the direction that would start his adventure for the Aqua de Vida. -
Ya, I was just about to mention that. Last summer every set had at least one new fig, if not two or three. Some of the sets this wave have only new figs, like the sith speeder or Darth Maul's ship, and the pods.

Ha, awesomesauce... The Kraken would be awesome, but they need to do it properly. It can't just be a little thing with tentacles, they need to make a big one. Like, tentacles the length of the ship. That would be intense. It cannot just be like an afterthought sort of thing, like a day before the deadline, the designers were sitting there talking "Okay, we are done this set. Is there anything else we could add. Hmmm... How about the Kraken!" Then we get a little octopus off to the side sucking off the barnacles of the ship. -

That minifig listing could be a very possible group. They all play big roles in DMC, and if we get a new Elizabeth, that will be three or four completely new figs, as mentioned above. That sounds about right. LEGO likes to release more exclusive or new figs in their more expensive sets. -
Ya, I heard that Little Fockers was crap. But Tangled was awesome! It was like the great old classic Disney movies.

HAH! Clony, that one is just awesome! Nice work! One of the best ones yet!

Ya, and the sad thing is that I went like 10 pages back trying to find it. -
I must say, in 32 ABY, Palpatine was dumb! Why would he stand on a balcony in his office for everyone to see! I thought he was the smartest guy in SW, but apparantly he is a bit DERP!
