  1. There are sites like ricardo.ch, which basically act as a Swiss Craigslist... I've never had a Gunship or dropship, So yeah. I found one swiss seller selling the 2013 version at a reasonable price, but I was looking at cheaper than that.
  2. I'm not talking about bricklink, I don't know if I'm ever going to order there anymore... Had too many bad experiences. Prices on Amazon and sites that have one entity. I didn't know Bricks & Pieces was down, hadn't checked it out for years.. thx for the advice :D
  3. Hello EB users, It's been a while since I first saw the Repbulic gunship, and I've wanted it for a long time. The 2013 version didn't appeal to me, and the 7676 is outragesly expensive... I have been thinking about bricklinking it, but it takes too much time to gather up all parts from diff. shops.... Is there a possibility to "bricklink" it through Pick-a-brick? and what's the best way to obtain at the cheapest price?
  4. I don't mind the more young targeted themes, I just personally feel we don't have enough AFOL themes... It's my opinion, I understand both point of views...
  5. Patience, then. Save Up your money, a computer could do you great things. Or at the very least, get a tablet. There are android tablets for less than 200$. But unfortenately, they don't have the software and capabilities of a pc. You may buy things like Raspberry PI that cost no more than 50$ if you're experienced with linux, but they require a pc to setup. I would say your best option is a chromebook : It's cheap, light and linux compatible. All you need is an internet connection, and you can use Wine to use windows programms. LDD is compatible with wine... http://www.techradar...-the-us-1233696 Simply try to save up what you spend on things that aren't essential. Like saving those 2$ you were going to spend on the morning coffee. With time, you may get enough to buy a computer.
  6. Recently, I see alot of my local stores hiring men roaming around the store with a LEGO checklist, and writing down how many lego sets in X Theme Have been sold, and how many there still is. They carry out a catalog for 2016 sets. I've only recently started seeing this, Therefore I can assume that they are conducting business analysis. It is true LEGO is a company, their #1 goal is money. I've only seen this because in my point of view, very few of what LEGO sells actually appeals to me now. I almost never buy a set to build it and display it as it is. A couple of years ago, I used to love the Idea behind Mars Mission, Exo-force, agents, etc... But Now, Only thing I see appealing to me personally is Creator( Modular Buildings ), Star Wars and Architecture.. If LEGO made more sets that appeal to AFOLs, wouldn't it be more profitable? As a Toy Company, Their first Target would be children, But I personally feel that they could do us more....
  7. That would be very impractical, You're better off building with your own parts in that case. I highly recommend you get a computer, it will allow you to build on LDD or LDRAW, and obtain every part needed...
  8. Any Images or Information regarding these two?
  9. I really need to start sorting out my bricks by color... I just throw them around in bins....
  10. Hello EB, Here are my First LEGO Star Wars photographs, taken from my studio.... I've been using stuff In my kitchen to simulate sand and rocks for some of the photographs... Anakin Skywalker, Next to his Jedi Interceptor : Stormtrooper Looking for R2-D2 and C3PO : R2-D2 wondering in the desert of Tatooine : Kashyyk Troopers, looking for something... : There are other photos, But I didn't feature them because They weren't good enough... My Question would be, what do you think? Are They Good?
  11. Naboo starfighter Is a Very Good choice, comes with decent minifigs and overall content for the price...
  12. Only if It's special
  13. Jedi Interceptor, was lucky to find it at a local store even thought it is discontinued. Kashyyk Troops, also from the same store. and some other battle packs...
  14. Hello EB, I've been looking into re-creating a scene from the star wars movies centered around one vehicule. My Budget for the MOC is approx. 200 - 300$. My Vehicule should not surpass 150$, so I'm kinda stuck. I don't know which one to choose. I equally like these two and I can't figure out which one to pick to replicate. The scene is, for example with the imp. shuttle, The endor landing. Which one would you choose? P.S : I love BIG vehicules. The Bigger, The better. But I'm still wondering...
  15. Great tutorial! But I think it can be improved... Instead of Using Gaussian blur, I think it's faster to just use the brush tool, paint all over the edges, put the layer behind the main one and reduce opacity. It get's a nicer result and a more customizable one ;)
  16. almost, but it's a tight fit
  17. I've submitted both for review on moc.bricklink.com thanks! Indeed, it has some flaws I saw, but when I uploaded on to bricklink, they got back to me saying that too many parts are rare. so I had to delete some of the parts from both the speeder and ground piece. For the endor battle scene, I'm planning on doing many more little battle scenes like that and sharing them with you guys ;)
  18. Hello EB Users, Here are my recent MOCs: What do you think?
