  1. I personally don't know, I think these videos were cool, Like the Mars Mission Designer video...
  2. Thank you ;)
  3. Whenever I'm Holding 75101 Tie Fighter I don't feel like I'm Holding a 80.- LEGO Product, but more a 60 - 50$ Here is my pic - I had to replace the wing connection because they kept falling off, and I Overall Feel lke this set shouldn't be priced like that, even for a star wars licensed set. What do you think?
  4. [ 700 Bricks ] [ Grey & Yellow ] [ Movie-Driven ]
  5. Okay, I'll say this for the last time. The Story, Is that I once was interested in building a ucs like model based off a star wars ship. I saw the size of teh Imperial Star Destroyer 10030, And thought why not do this for the venator. I Saw other models that people made like techlug's huge version, but I did not rip off any work of any person. There are differences, and I did not just load a .lxf and displayed it. I understand your suspicions, But I assure I have not ripped anyone. Now for Credits, I would go to say Thanks to TechLUG,For the inspiration, and some of his videos showing off. I also saw a video of a guy building it in timelapse usign tlg's instructions, It helped me get a feel for what I should to make my model. The one you are showing not only has alot of differences in the color choice but also on the placement of bricks. And for that LEGO Ideas Project, I was aiming at midi-scale,simply because LEGO Ideas production budget isn't big : They refused many projects due to their size or brick count.... Just because I made a midi-scale TFC doesn't mean I'm not capable of building a Mid-UCS sized set. I've been building and collecting LEGOs for a decade Now.
  6. I know sets like Galidor, Jack Stone and Ben 10 are considered the worst. But LEGO Redeemed themselves later on with some of the greatest sets we have known.... I don't mind studios that much tho.
  7. Hello EB, I have recently been thinking alot in my head about the current state of the LEGO Group. I Think That The LEGO Group's Products have been declining in originality. I find that LEGO Has released a wave of themes in the recent years that make it seem like they ran out of ideas. Sets/Themes Based on third party Intellectual Properties like Star Wars, LoTR, etc... Should be fine because they are directly ripped from their respective universes. But, It's been a long time since I've seen a LEGO Made Theme that has decent sets. Casting Aside City,Creator, and Technic, Sets Like Friends, Disney Princess, Elves, Ninjago, Chima, andSpeed Champion Have Nothing special in my opinion. Some of them I consider even bad. When I go to my retail toy sellers, They never run out of Friends,DP,Elves,etc... They are ALWAYS there. Nobody buys them. But Licensed ones actually sell, and often my local stores run out of supplies for them... I actually liked the Idea of re-introducing Bionicle and Pirates, but again these were made some time ago, so nothing new... Where are the themes like Blacktron, M:Tron, Mars Mission, Agents, Exo-Force, Power Miners, Drome Racers, Harry Potter,etc..? I'd like to hear your opinion about it
  8. 55$, I got it for 85$
  9. I've done mine In LDD, yours has alot of differences like different engines, different types of bricks, etc... I'm using star wars as a reference model, and so are you... yours is bigger. I was inspired to do a venator model when I first saw LEGO'S ucs Imperial star destroyer. Alot of people built UCS Venators,.. And If we are building upon the same base model, of course there are going to be similarities.
  10. Lol I'm still saving up for Big Star Wars set to get this winter, I can't afford to lose too much money right now
  11. Thanks for the suggestion :D Btw Are you the the owner of the TechLUG channel that does all these Star Wars UCS Models? If Yes, Keep dooing what you are doing ;) I love it
  12. The distance doesn't change much. For The scale it's way bigger than the Official Venator Class Star Destroyer from LEGO, But Smaller than the UCS Star Destroyer... Thanks!
  13. Thank you ;)
  14. My Most Recent Purchase From Local Retail store was: LEGO SW First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter My Most recent Online purchase was from Bricklink: LEGO Mars Mission - Crystal Hawk LEGO 2007 Catalog LEGO Exo-Force - Ryo Minifig
  15. My Custom UCS Venator Class Star Destroyer, Inspired by LEGO'S Imperial Star Destroyer UCS Not THAT Big, But still took me Hours to build. What do you think? ;)
  16. It's so massive! But I hardly see any playability with a set of that size. Usually when LEGO Makes playable sets, they make them atleast small enough to be carried around... This looks more of a UCS Set, and I can hardly imagine anyone playing with this
