Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
If I remember correctly, Filoni stated somewhere that Mortis would not be a single, an isolated arc, but that it would be refered to in later episodes. I'm looking forward to it The most interesting idea the author cites is that Mother Talzin described Dathomir as a place being closer to the source of the witches' power than other places. I always wondered if the cave on Dagobah actually was a place where the dark side of the force was strong, or if Yoda just made him believe so. -

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

I guess he'll try to kill him, and I'd say he knows Palpatine's true identity. That's probably why the Jedi want Maul alive. It's an incredible opportunity to determine the true identity of the second Sith Lord, and Sidious knows that as well. I think that "Massacre" was the cruelest episode I've ever seen so far. Grievous was portrayed as a coward, although a great warrior (no cough in this episode). Like expected, Ventress is alone again. I have to admit that she probably has become my favorite character in this show. -

Does anyone know if the skirt of the old (7676) Ventress key chain minifig is glued to the torso/hips? -

Excellent trailer, excellent find I'm stunned, this season's finale doesn't look exactly like something I'd like to miss. Edit: Sorry, I had to post this...he looks so bad-megablocks... -

Dammit...sometimes, I wish I could alter time, speed up the broadcast of the last episodes, or teleport me to...dunno. I'd like to see the complete arc, not just the next episode -
Actually, I'd like to see a re-issue of the AT-TE and the Republic Gunship, if possible, with season 4 figures

No, they aren't This way, they resemble the shape of the feet in a better way, I think.

I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but you are promoting pro-western and anti-islamic stereortypes. -

I don't know. He said the season would become darker since Episode 3 is getting closer. -
I always like the walker in set 8098 (Clone Turbo Tank), but I found that the gun was placed too low. Today, I made a few subtle changes to improve that problem: I think it looks more compact now. In reality, it looks better than on the photo, though, so you might give it a try

Generally, Star Wars is not made for persons of a certain age. TCW is not exactly made for kids; there are quite too many things that cannot be understood and appreciated by kids. I'm pretty sure that Underworld will aim at the target audience of the OT and the PT, which means that kids are not excluded from the target audience.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's save to say that the old Wattoo is either bought by collectors or by speculators. Those who go for nice figures will always choose the new one. I think that noone buys the old "non-TCW" General Grievous because he thinks it looks better than the new one. So I'd go always for the minifig I like most, not for those that might increase in value. -
Brickarms is currently working on some prototypes: I'd wait until they go into mass production.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Maybe we have a different understanding of the concept of "flashback". Personally, I think that there needs to be a person that has the flashback in order to make clear to the audience what happens. That's not the case with "Rookies" and the respective episodes. I still do not understand why "Rookies" was shown in season 1, while it takes place between episode 1 and 2 of season 3. It is correct that Luke mentions teleportation - along with with two other things that are equally impossible. Not sure if you read this I don't think that the main objective of TCW is to make money. It has to be popular though and to draw attention because otherwise it could not be aired (which is one of the problems that "Underworld" currently has). I think that Lucas made TCW for several reasons, and one of them is that he realized that the PT is too short, that certain things simply do not take enough time or attention in order to be understood. So one function of TCW is to fix certain shortcommings of the PT. Bringing back Maul may be a marketing genius. But there are actually people (like me ) who like the idea. So you might consider the possibility that the writers are aware of the fact that a lot of people want to be told fancy stories, and who don't want Star Wars to be treated like some kind of exact science that makes all kinds of events predictable and that has to be consistent with some kind of "code" or "canon". -

I like flashbacks, too. I'd consider the way that Castiel tells his story in "Supernatural" season 6 or the way that Chuck tells a story in the final episode of season 5 as flashbacks in a broader sense I cannot think of a single flashback in Star Wars, though, so it'd be a rather new concept. I find teleportation or "transportation" too "Star Trekish" and too "sci-fiish", so I don't think it will or should be used. -

It does. Although I would like to see the events surrounding the creation of clones on Kamino (Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, the deletion of Kamino from the Jedi archives) or parts of Sidious' past with Darth Plagueis -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Brickadeer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Generally, the series leads to the events of Episode 3. Personally, I'm glad that it has more to offer than just clones and war stories, and that they take the time to tell stories that are not directly related to the war The last arc wasn't really about bounty hunters, but more about Anakin, his relation to Obi Wan, the Jedi Council, the Council's relation to Obi Wan, and Sidous' plotting against them; the setting of the story had to do with bounty hunters, though. The war on the other hand is not the big story. The war is just a means of Sidious' raise to power. So I think it's natural that the series is not just about clones and wars; if I understand it correctly, "The Clone Wars" is just a name for a certain period of time and not a single event, and therefore, the series takes into account certain events that happened in this period of time. -
Thanks guys Still, everyone is still invited to post her or his personal experience with stickers, whether they still worked after a certain period or not.
