  1. Maybe...but I have no doubts it is the Darth Maul featured in the next TCW episodes...
  2. This TCW Darth Maul looks awesome...new face printing, new body and printed arms :) Well, !
  3. It is not only to make Anakin feel let down. It is equally about making him feeling inferior to Obi Wan. And it is equally about strengthening the bond between Anakin and Palpatine. If you think of Palpatine's arrest, when Anakin was forced to choose between Palpatine and Windu, he ultimately made his decision for Palpatine. And furthermore, the whole plot about Palpatine's assassination kept the Jedi Council busy. It kept ressources that could not be spent on finding the answer to question who the other Sith Lord is. And it strengthened Sidious' cover as Palpatine. So basically Palpatine had an opportunity to advance his long time goals; why should he not have taken it?
  4. No, he just realized that someone was grabbing through the shield and to the shield generator. I adressed that issue already on p. 72. I doesn't affect the plot how many guards there are, or how Cad Bane was disguised. I think that I nailed the important points on p. 72 as well. Palpatine sent away the guards; Obi Wan figured out that there was a 2nd plot of Dooku; Obi Wan managed to save the Chancellor. That was intended by Palpatine; the consequences were already laid out on p. 72.
  5. Well, it happened to Bane who was on the platform, so I'd say it was only a device to let the audience know. However, to make it plausible to children, it happened so to say in moments when noone had turned his attention to the person in question. I'm not sure if I expressed myself well. The point is that a child must find a plausible explanation why noone sees the flickering, and the explanation that the show gives is that noone has watched him when the flickering happened.
  6. It's beautiful :)
  7. The flickering happens so the audience knows what bountyhunter is currently shown.
  8. Excellent, thanks! So we'll get a new Commander Droid, that's all I wanted to know :) The "Pauldron" of Maglus makes me hope for a new Darth Vader and new ARC Pauldrons as well :)
  9. I finally made it to read all the chapters. It's a good read, I particularly like the humor. Personally, I find the Lego builds fantastic, and I'm a bit stunned both by the huge amount of builds and their constantly high quality presented throughout the whole storyline. The photos are pretty good as well. Thanks for what you have come up with until now, I'm looking forward for the final chapters of the story.
  10. Thanks. The arc aims on showing how Palpatine seperates Anakin from the Jedi. What he has achieved is to make Anakin wonder to what degree the Jedi Council and Obi Wan trust him and can be trusted. He has further achieved to gim a feeling of inferiority since even Dooku praises Obi Wan, not Anakin. Palpatine, on the other hand, appears to be the only one who is loyal to Anakin, no matter what, and who appreciates his abilities. Anakin, on the other hand, returns this loyality: "As long as I live, no harm will ever come to you, your excellency!", which sounds pretty much like a promise or an oath. So, I found it quite interesting to see Palpatine making his moves, and to see how he has begun to seperate Anakin from his true friends. And Palpatines sarcasm, his verbal coup de main at the very end of the episode, "one shatters to think where the galaxy would be without the Jedi", is priceless: he lays his plans for the Jedi Order fully open, but, of course, noone can understand that he doesn't express his fears, but his hopes and his ultimate future aim. The answer to the question where the galaxy would be without the Jedi is clear: in his hands! So I think this is pretty good stuff!
  11. I liked it as well. Palpatine's last sentence was one of his finest. The links don't work.
  12. It appeared to me that the reviewer actually had not the slightest interest in Lego. I wondered the whole time why he's there at all and why he made this video.
  13. Wow, thanks! Does anyone recognize the gun of Boba?
  14. I think he teases C-3PO. Then, he is shot by R2-D2 and jumps up to something. He than hisses down to R2. At least, that is what I remember (and I haven't seen the film for a couple of years).
  15. I expect the price to be EUR 139,99 or EUR 149,99. I think that there will be huge discount, so that the set will be available for EUR 100-110. I immediately thought that Jabba looks a lot like a TCW figure.
  16. Well...I'm not an expert, but I think it's safe to say that the set will we available at some point between July and September. I know that it will come during 2012, and I really don't bother whether it is released one or two months earlier or later.
  17. "...our main product for Christmas 2012", that's what he said at the beginning, and "our strongest product for Christmas 2012" at the end of the video, correct. I was hoping for a Chewie with printed eyes and mouth, but it seems it's the old one.
  18. Wow...I always found Jabba etc. to be the lamest part of Star Wars, but this set looks pretty good to me. The printed Jabba and guard are a vast improvement of the previous set.
  19. Hmm...maybe you mean the thread ARF Trooper Mis-Print :)
  20. It looks Greekish, I immediately liked it!
  21. ...and two shots of Ventress and the new ARC Trooper: Originally, I wanted to recreate the final scene of Commander Colt, but I found that impaling a figure is a bit difficult. For these pictures, I found recent actions of Ashoka dealing with Deathwatchy very inspiring. I'm not yet pleased with the whole arrangement of the scene, but I think, well, it's a start.
  22. I just played around with the new commando droids:
  23. I hope noone will ever read this sentence without reference to the right context. Did you see my pictures of the "modified" Commando Droid on page 2 btw? I think that he'd look pretty cute if legs were in the right colour.
  24. MB, is the visor of your new ARF identical to that of the old ARF? I'm asking because the visor of my new ARF is significantly bigger:
