  1. My Target store literally had a hundred of those TIE Fighter polybags sitting around ...no one wants them I guess.
  2. I really like your idea for a "modification" set addition, randomwalk.
  3. Side-sidetrack... Let the speculations begin! :P
  4. Cool stuff
  5. Good luck with Lego and with eBay. Superb creation! And like Appie said you might want to remove it for sales if you really want Lego to consider it.
  6. I want those bricks and pieces to make my Slave 1 Jango's ship too! I'm tempted to BrickLink those blue pieces but will I be disappointed? >.<
  7. Cool movie stills...never thought about it. Nice MOC, of course!
  8. This MOC makes me think of Canada >.< (Good job btw!)
  9. Hmmm...I'll have to keep an eye out for that too. For example, with the Boba Fett keychain his cape was very stiff and I'm glad it was. A "felt" one or something like that surely would have ripped in my pocket by now.
  10. It keeps getting better and better with each change. :)
  11. I'm surprised no one responded to this yet... I found out that I ordered the pieces from Bricks & Pieces (also a part of Lego though) but they do not honor the free shipping. It has to be from their Pick-A-Brick (PAB) site. *Just a warning to everyone out there so you don't make the same mistake I did. Their Customer Service wouldn't honor the free shipping either and were unable to cancel the order so that I could order from PAB. It's like blaming Obama for something wrong and he turns and says it was the Democrat party and the House of Rep. :p
  12. I just bought $6 worth of parts from Legos's pick-a-brick and was charged approx. $3 for shipping. I thought ALL online orders were free...
  13. Was this done with existing set pieces only or did you have to add in orange blocks? I ask because I want to do that too. :)
  14. Pretty "cool". ;)
  15. I gave BrickCommander your link to this post, he's on these forums (he made the MF you are modding and the Slave 1)...He was mentioning that the landing gear wouldn't pass Lego standards because there is no stoppers on the legs since they rest on the technic block. And it wouldn't be fun for kinds to manually set 4 (or 5) landing gears individually. It's an interesting premise...have you thought about a stopper on the landing gear to lock in place?
  16. I do somewhat care about those gaps though...and so does Lawngnome who created this post to change the model. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117518 Did I still buy it...sure! Do we love the set...of course we do. But we will mod our sets to get rid of gaps. No hate...I love all my SW Lego sets. :)
  17. Sweeeeet! Thanks for the LDD file! I'll definitely be changing the gaps and adding some greebling. The center turret...we'll see. :P Keep changing stuff! :)
  18. I have it and love it. Do it Sam! Besides my UCS X-Wing it's my favorite. The Boba Fett with it is also quite nice.
  19. Oh cool...didn't know you designed the new MF as well. I love both my Slave 1 and my TFA MF. :)
  20. What Anio says about the gap rings true. I wish that were true for the UCS X-Wing #10240. That windshield should DEFINITELY been printed on and NOT a sticker.
  21. You are going to love that X-Wing set when you build it! It's so awesome to look at!
  22. What do you mean by that Anio?
  23. Nice to hear @KlodsBrik I'll need to check out your reviews. :) And @notaromantic I thought about BrickLinking the UCS Millennium Falcon but I don't know...I'm heard about the labor of love and other horror stories (as you mentioned). I BrickLink off to the side but simple stuff, few lots. But never a major set...yet.
  24. When I first saw (in my early 30s) that they had UCS Star Wars Lego sets I knew I had to buy and build those myself...I've been hooked the last year. Naturally played with Legos as a kid but my mom gave them all away to Goodwill (someone got a super good deal I'm sure for thousands of pieces).
  25. Since I do not appear to have the ability to make a poll quite yet I was wondering: When you set out to build a set (preferably something with multiple numbered bags) do you assemble them by opening the bags one at a time and build as specified in the instructions? -or- Do you dump everything out more than likely doubling or tripling the time it takes for you to make a build? vs I personally dump everything out. I like the fact it will take much longer. I don't want the fun and experience to go away! I just built the X-Wing UCS set (approx. 1600 pieces) and it definitely took me 7 hours+...but it was fun and I was sad when it was over.
