  1. An explosion effect... Now that's an interesting thought. 8-
  2. Ah...Now I get it. Yes, they do.
  3. One of my dad's friends in Olympia, WA, has a CC that he bought and modified. The engine sounded so amazing! Shamed all the mass-produced sports boats out there. X-D Anyway; Ones like that wold be great. On the tank set, all the bricks would be put toward the tank, rather than one good set, and one of the other side, like Ryo's little flying thing in the combat crawler. :-X It depends on how they split the set, I guess.
  4. Gah! Not again! How do I keep doing that? |-/ That's right, it was the Holy Grail they were after... I refer to any boat that is wooden, classical, and has a kick-@$$ engine a Chris Craft. :-P
  5. I'll probably end up getting this set. With a lot (and I mean a lot) of modding, it could be great. I mean, it's a good idea, it just needs work. A lot of work. :-|
  6. Why do you torture me so? :'-( :-D That was my favorite part. Sir...Name... :-D So...Uh, Stauder...Why didn't you post your lair?
  7. Not fair; You torturer! :-P How dare you tease us so. :'-( Make sure to post a review! *sweet*
  8. I really hope we can get a Chris Craft boat chase from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Now that would be something! *sweet* Some Chris Crafts would be excellent for town people. Raiders of the lost ark: Chris Craft chase two Chris Crafts A small dock and a few bueys Includes Marien and Indie, plus two of the secret society guys. $29.99 USD
  9. I saw most of Radio. A very touching story. :'-)
  10. Hee hee, cute hoverboard. 8-
  11. I like the orange and yellow together, it seems like something a space hot rod would have. X-D The 1x1 modified plates on the bottom do make it a bit blotchy, I should probably take those out. I haven't dabbled much with building engines; I like the engines the way they are here, they seem a bit sleeker than self-made ones. I have a Gunship I'm working on now, I'll experiment on those. Most of the fighter rests on the undersides of the engine, so the forward landing gear takes almost no stress. I see what you're saying on the rear landing gear, I'll add some more onto it. The rear ones are clamps, so they should be a little stronger, thanks. I'm not entirely sure what you're saying here- you mean shortening the orange bricks so the trans-grey cockpit is even with the front? I need to remember that. I did something like that; the droid arms on the bottom were supposed to be reinforcement to the cockpit, and the parts on the engines are to tweak the engine's performance, aka status lights, etc. Thanks! I think the helmet makes him more intimidating. X-D POWER! X-D Thanks, I was going for sleek.
  12. Thanks. The sticker is from the Lego Island Xtreme sets, maybe I should have named it the "X-2 Talon". X-D
  13. I think Sne is on vacation now. It might be a little while. As you can see, Sne gets his own special Space tag. :-P
  14. After seeing starwars4J's great Racer/fighter MOC/MOD, I was inspired to revamp a little fighter I made last year: Link I loved this MOC as it was, but I decided that it needed an upgrade. The design is quite similar, but it has more features and greebles. I call it the "B-2 Talon" (I'm bad at making names, all right?). Anyway, here she is- not my sigfig! The orange thing! The Talon is a very fast ship, but very hard to handle. As such, she was never put into mass production. A few select pilots, however, saw the Talon's potential and made them their own. Yes, I'm talking about my sigfig, aren't I overpowering myself? X-D The reason the Talon is so hard to control is simple: She's a small ship with large, powerful engines. On top of that, she has a new, different style, and as such it takes even the most experienced pilot a while to master. I used old town car doors on the blasters as support struts. I was having trouble finding a place for blasters, and I settled on the doors. I think it turned out beautifully. I used two old technic peices for the rear of the ship; I think it gives a nice effect. I modified the underside the most. I put in some greebles, and a flap to control speed and air intake. The flaps: I added landing gear in the front. The cockpit is higher than the engines, so it kept tipping forward. There are also some rear clamps on the engines, if the Talon needs to dock on a ship. The engines. I greebled them as best I could; I found out that I'm no great shakes at greebling. Also, you see the Talon's method of steering- it's short wings. It steers by adjusting the AntiGrav boosters on the wings. I didn't do much with the cockpit. I tried all sorts of ways to make hinge the cockpit, but none worked. So, the Talon still has a removable cockpit. Well, that's it. I'm glad I finally posted it. Of course, comments and criticism are welcome. :-)
  15. A tag is something the Admins or Mods give you, the same as a flag. The same rules apply, but Snefroe was kind enough to make a topic about the space tag- if you asked, you could get a space tag.
  16. Nope, no ideas. :-$ It looks great now that I return to it, though. I just thought the way the picture was it looked odd. Maybe if you took a picture further away in landing mode it would look better. I meant to take take away the intake peices, and replace them with two of the same peices you used for the blaster. Experimenting is good. X-D Since this is a small fighter... Now, after messing around with my little orange ship, It is good to keep some of it smooth. Thanks! I'm working with it right now. Oops! :-$ Guess I overlooked that little detail. X-D Maybe put it in as a captured ship, if you have enough room.
  17. Yes, I should have realized that when I said that. (d'oh!) It does seem that a lot of people in my school are like that; it's just hard for me to relate, as I am, I admit, a very sheltered kid. :-$
  18. ...And it's a great mod. I love the green you put into it, it looks great. I love the way you made it actually look like a racer turned into a fighter, and that turned out well. I also love how you integrated it into the story. One thing I think needs to be buffed up a bit is the thrusters. They don't look powerful enough for something that used to be a racer. Racers in space, I think, need to be dangerously modified with the biggest engines possible; you should try doing it here, by putting in some more greebles in the back. That way, it looks like a rebellion ship slightly more by showing even more repair work, a bit like the y-wing. I like what you did with the cockpit. It looks very functional, something you'd see in a real fighter. Although, someone with a bad back is going to have a hard time getting in and out. :-P I'm not so sure about the landing gear. It looks a bit too unstable; the entire ship is slanting forward. If you added more support to the skids, it would look much better. I like the two LIGHT ( :-P ) blasters you have. Very simple, but they're great. The two holes on each side are... interesting. I can tell that they are air intakes, but what I think what would have been better is to use the two sockets that you used for the blasters as the intakes. They have more detail, as the method you have now makes it look a bit too blocky. The underside of the ship is great. I like how you used the three peices as antigrav. (take that, Sinner! :-P ) Also, I think you should have put greebles on the underside of the wings. The way you have the light grey 2x6 is good, but it would have added more character, IMHO. Again, that would have given it the "low on money, as-good-as-we-can-do-with-it" repair look. All right, I'm done. :-$ I've never commented that long on a MOC before, it was really interesting, thanks. You also inspired me to work some more on a little orange speeder I made a while ago: Link. That was before I learned to put in a background, use a tripod, etc. :-$ One last question: Will you be using this ship in your WIP ship? It's small and compact, It'd fit well. :-)
  19. I love your vignette! *wub* The skyline photo does indeed seem dramatic. I think you should replace the Skellie's sword with the dark bley cleaver thing that they usually use, and give the nice shiny broadsword to the knight. :-) Nope... MISTER Tiber is best. :-P
  20. Of course, it's open to everyone. It doesn't matter about the vignette- I don't even have an idea yet. X-D
  21. It looks to me like the over-brightness is due to the camera. I think it'd look just fine in person. Love the Kitchen, very detailed. The whole place is pretty good, too. I prefer an open roof, as well. It's much easier to position things around, and play with it. X-D Who doesn't love Hinckley? X-D
  22. I own the full book of the series. I was brought about to it by my friends, who like to talk about Douglas's quotes at school. I suggest that everyone try to bring a towel around with them on Towel Day, when it comes around. It's tons of fun. *sweet*
  23. I really don't get why people spam... It seems harder to screw around on purpose than it is to just behave, in my opinion. I mean, why spam in the first place? I've wondered about the flags, too. Glad VBBN brought it up.
  24. Where? *turns and runs head-on into the wall* Ah! By Node! *dives into the Minnow's latrine* All by blud id leeging troo by node!
