Wow... It's official, EB has just turned into heaven... :'-) I love all of these new sets. Beautiful. Just *wub* . I don't have time to comment properly, but I'll do a small roll-through: Stormtrooper Dropship: Looks more like a speeder to me, but if it was a dropship it'd cost too much. Rebel Speeder: Very cute. I'll actually keep this speeder together, and those helmets are *wub* . Hope the peices with the Rebellion logo on them are printed...but probably not. HD and SD: *wub* They're great. Love the new wheels. But the flick-fire missiles?! :-X How on earth are you going to flick one at a time? AT-AP: I'm mixed feelings on this. At first I thought it was beautiful, but now it's so-so. I think the legs are too small and skinny, and I don't see a third leg. But what the M#G@B(0k$ is that thing on the bottom? :-/ Anakin's fighter: My favorite. I missed out on Obie's, so I'm glad I'll be able to get a EP. II fighter. Don't see anything wrong with it, other than the flick-fires. I call reviewing it, *yoda* !! :-P Rogue Shadow: Huh. Huh-huh-huh. :-/ I love the figs, but without the description, I wouldn't have known it was vader. I don't know much about the ship, but it looks to have a lot of missiles. Ah, zoo story time! I went to the Miami MetroZoo in Florida a year or two ago. There, I met a staff member and got into a long talk about parrots (she was in the petting zoo, feeding the parrots) and then we strayed into birds of prey. I had gone to the zoo to look for a Harpy Eagle, which I have a deep obsession about. I found none, but that was no suprise. I asked the staff member if they had any in captivity. She said that the zoo had two, a breeding pair. I was pretty happy about this, but she said only staff could enter, which wasn't a big dissapointment, I wasn't expecting to get in anyway. What did suprise me was that she told me she'd send me pictures of the pair and the newborn chick! So, I went home. A month later an envelope came in the mail, all the way from florida. I wasn't expecting to get any pictures, because I live in Oregon, a pretty long way for someone I didn't really know to send me anything. I opened the envelope, and there they were, in fairly expensive printing paper. I'm very grateful, the pictures of the chick are so cute. *wub* Maybe I should scan them, and post them. Not quite a pet story, sorry. The only fish I have are a Beta, and the fish in our pond... That reminds me: My old middle school's football field has a dozen or more plastic tubes that extend from the edge of the field down to who knows where. Many frogs live in them when it gets wet. The school had a fundraiser that involved walking around the track that circles the football field. It doesn't sound like fun, but it usually involves lots of playing and free water bottles. During the fundraiser, I looked down and spotted a frog in one of the tubes. I caught it. I carried it around for a bit (gently, mind you!) and then I spotted another one. I caught it, also, and immediately decided I wanted to take them home as pets. I drained most of my water bottle, and put the frogs inside. Now, I couldn't carry frogs around with me the rest of the school day, so I put the water bottle in my locker at an angle, so the frogs could rest on the side of the water bottle while having a pool. After school was over, I brought the frogs and their bottle home, where I named them Tom Thumb and Jimmy. I pulled an old aquarium out of a closet, cleaned it, put dirt, grass, and moss from our pond in it. I filled a dish with water and put it in, too, so they could have a pond. Then, I went to the local pet store and bought a bag of crickets and put them in the aquarium, and watched Tom Thumb and Jimmy go to school on the frogs. After having them a month or so, Tom Thumb and Jimmy escaped as my mother was doing a routine cleaning. She says Tom Thumb escaped outside into the pond, while Jimmy went... somewhere. I was glad Tom Thumb survived, though, and found a great place to stay in our pond. :'-) Needless to say, I never used that water bottle again. X-D

Nice vig. Knighty there gets a cold from fighting Skellies all night, sneezes, his visor falls down, and he falls of the back of the vig. The end. He then ends up in the Darwin Awards. :-P

Ooh, cool, pics! My immediate thought: Chirox isn't so CHEERy looking. Geddit? :-| Toa Ignika: Flippin' sweet. Anyone with cool shoulder armor I'm going to get. Nice weapon, interesting color scheme. Looks like orange and gunmetal grey. Anyone see anything different? Also, I can't tell what his weapons is. I hope it's not a Cordak Blaster. *shudder* He does look skinny, though. Chirox: Scary. Looks like a Skellie on steroids. He looks to have a big body with thin arms, but I can't tell much. One last thought: Has anyone read the new comic, "the death of Mata Nui"? Well, the Mask of Life can't be that dead if there's a Toa Ignika. 8-

Sheeeesh so many new sets!! I can't take them all in... Go slower!! Has anyone noticed that the goblins/orcs have yellow hands? They look like Halloweeners. Actually, I hate having the goblins. I love the skellies... Why get rid of them? I'd be fine with goblins if only we had Skellies mixed in. That tower is odd. It looks like a prison tower of some sort... but flick-fire missiles?! NO! We're heading back to KK... :-( The seige tower looks good. The effect seems crude, and it fits the goblins perfectly. The mine looks good. Very detailed. Golden axes...Those dwarves are PIMP. X-D

What what what? Are you calling me a rat? :-D I shall only change my avatar once we have an Eagle/Hawk(or buzzard, you Europeans)/owl theme. Until then... :-P

I spent a good half-hour looking at these. Great work! This topic really showed me a bit about Steampunk, an awesome theme, I have neither the peices or the skill (I think) to try it, though. Radiant Kestrel *wub* A work of art... Maybe I just like it because it uses the name "Kestrel" Though. :-P

Looks like it. To be more accurate: another tower. I'd have prefered to see a Skellie Stronghold in 2008, but a Troll Tower.... Hmm.

I think I'll extend it just a bit, and change my sig saying, "one week left, enter now". That way if someone saw the topic when it first came up, but forgot, they'll have some time. I know, I'm stalling... :-P

Giga-Admin Whacking time! Woo-hooo! The comic was hilarious, great to see our CEO dishing out the pain with many heavy objects. :-P Now I really need to go to the event, or miss out on some serious fun.

These are...interesting. Very different for lego, but they don't look too horrible. I don't care about much, just as long as they aren't too skinny. :-P Lewa has lots of detail, with the jets...Sure looks like a high tech toa of air. Pohatu...orange. Odd. I can't see much, but it looks like Lewa nd Pohatu have completely different weapons, so it looks like lego isn't continuing it's policy of giving it's characters the same launchers.

I refuse to change my avatar. I like my rat the way it is. :-P

This thing looks decent sitting there, sure, but to me it's really just a slightly more detailed, cheaper plastic Playmobile set. I'm not sure how it's considered a building set. :-/

New pictures? I'm away for two days, and we have star wars and Castle pictures. :'-) This set is mixed blessings to me. The good: -Good dragons! Not fond of that green spike on top, I'd prefer it silver- but good otherwise. -I'm happy with the trolls now. The face isn't so bad, looks serious, but the droopy ear spikes look a bit cartooney, but they come off. -Beautiful logo for the Goblins! (Hmm...Skellies, so...Gobblies? :-P ) That could be an interesting Mandalorian Mythosaur logo. -We still have the Knight's side -Interesting new goblins. They look fairly scary and not too child-oriented. -We're seeing some dandy new parts, those sails, dragon armor, Gobbie swords, and the Gobbie helmet. Can't make much out of it, but it is a prototype. -Looks like the Gobbie with the whip has some new armor. The bad: -I'd prefer to see some Skellie crew mixing with the Gobbies. Lego can't keep making new bad guys each year. - That ship looks like a modification of the Viking ship. A bit better, but I was hoping for much better.

*Gasp* You're right! That went by so quickly. I think I'll extend the contest so we can have a few more entries if anyone wants to, unless everyone just wants to vote now?

OOC: I am too. I thought we were all on my ship, but now everyone is scurrying around in TIE fighters and in the SD and whatnot. :-P

They look beautiful! *wub* I love the Gobie. He's colorful, cute, and...expensive looking. How much do they cost?
