A harlequin version? What is that? A non color coded version?
  2. You might want to take the midol (and something else) after that fall. :-P
  3. I can't believe that I thought that was a McDonalds. :'-( Oh well, that's what whacking's for. I don't think there's a real rule on how big your sig can get, just as long as it's not TOO obnoxious. Darn BZP and their sig deleting. |-/ Speaking of which ( :-P ) Three men walked into a bar. PERIOD. :-P Anti-climatic bar joke ON!
  4. Ah. I forgot about that. :-$ I really hope not. :-X The stores can't support more big EF sets.
  5. Nope. The bad guy vehicle, whose official name is now "Combat Crawler" is designated 7721. This is something different. Wonder what it could be? My guess is that it's that "secret weapon" thing that Ryo keeps hinting at in the EF comics. EDIT: Wait, how do you know it's red and that it's a robot? Do you have a picture?
  6. Dunamis, you realize I hate you for this review! :'-( You just cost me the fifty dollars and the gas prices for a 5-hour road trip the the lego store. :'-( :-P :-P My thoughts: -I agree, one trooper on the ground is a bit odd. A speeder would have been nice, or a cannon. -That is one huge flick-fire missile! -The fact that it isn't in a movie doesn't bother me so much- anything with a Star Wars logo slapped on it will attract attention, plus you can easily recognize it with the TIE fighter. -$50 = :-X
  7. Yes, I think he is about to be attacked by every fan of Douglas Adams and Dancin' in the Rain. Ready... Go! Oh... And what's level two? Do it. I double dog dare you. :-P
  8. X-O You definitely should! Here's an explanation: Douglas Adams: Author of the most funny and random book series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. . Not to be associated with the movie version, which, IMO, didn't give it justice. Singin' in the rain: I don't know what to tell you. :-P If you've ever seen the umbrella fight scene in Shanghai Knights, you'll get a bit of an idea. :-P It's the part at the end of this clip. EDIT: Here's the original.
  9. I will! ;-) I think someone other than you should do it, though, for one reason: This way, everyone can make up their own annoying question for you! :-P
  10. Wait... What am I saying here? That's not a McDonald's! *wacko* I saw the red and yellow, so I assumed.... Whoops. Or is that the european version of McNasty? I went to Key West once, and there was a Starbucks on every block. It was sad. :-( I believe that battle droid jar jar is actually part of an Aldar Beedo (wasn't he the parts built partially battle droid partially tan slope and weirdness figure in Watto's Junkyard?) but with a Jar Jar head. I'm not sure it's an improvement. Aldaar Beedo was a mold. Not sure what you're saying here. :-/
  11. *wacko* Where do you live? In America, there are at least two per town. We have about 4 in Bend. Wal-Mart is trying to fit that many in too... I understand that there are mass amounts of Starbucks on the east coast, though. BTW, nice title. I suppose people are paying you for the rent? I'm not. :-P *Snort* Timmy Jar Jar. What an odd collection. What is that battle droid/jar jar thing? *wacko*
  12. Something tells me that the enhanced image will be pretty funny. I'm not sure why... *wacko* It's cute when they play with your hair. *wub* My cockatiel plays with jewelry, it's fun if you're watching, but not if he's chewing on your earring. :-D So, Sinner, is it actually possible to wrangle a picture of SN from that...eh...distortion?
  13. :-D So that's the kind of thing you get up to when not on EB. It won't work...

    Mega One

Amazing model, Yellost! His hands look a bit big, but once you add the legs he'll probably look fine. Yeah. He's a larger model, so Mega One. ;-)
  15. oops. :-$ Yes, that would be why there are so many snakes. :-| Isn't it odd how his other job is a historian (right?), yet he destroys the temples he enters just to get one artifact. :-P Reviewing it again, and I can't figure out what that machine gun is made out of (yes, it is plastic). I can't wait to get my hands on that hat. So beautiful... *wub* Reserving judgment on the whip, however.
  16. I think I'm gonna cry. :'-) My 2 cents: The bike set- Amazing. A good size, we'll be able to get the nice off-road bikes. :-) The truck set- Even more amazing. I love the design of the hoods of the vehicles, very realistic. The hood on the truck- |-/ The temple of doom thing set- Not much to say here. Looks good, but I can't make much out. The big set- Wow. Looks huge, that's gonna be expensive. It looks amazing, though. *y* Boulder chase on! The whole theme- I love this theme. It's very comparable to the Johny Thunder sets, but... Indiana Jones. :-P I think my favorite thing about it is that lego seems to be taking a turn back- They aren't going for the biggest thing they can with large holes in them.
  17. Great interview, the more Douglas Adams qoutes the better. :-P Do you celebrate towel day? 8-| Anyway, it was good, though we needed to see Jipay's lair. 8-|
  18. I think human saliva is actually bad for birds... I read it somewhere, not sure where. Have I commented that your bird is gorgeous? *wub*
  19. yeah! This is a good way to make members feel more like they're part of EB. intimate ON
  20. You seem to know a lot about birds of 'prey': Are ravens or crows kept as household pets, or is that unethical? X-D It's actually illegal to keep ravens as pets; I think that you can get some species of crow as a pet. One of the reasons it's illegal to keep ravens as pets is that they're too smart for their own good. The other raven we have, Stark, used to be someone's pet. They took him illegally from the nest when he was a chick, and they raised him. They let him free fly around the house every day. Being smart, Stark would go over to the neighbor's house and try to beg, via jumping up and down on their kid's heads and squawking. The neighbors told the owner that they would take matters into their own hands if the owner didn't stop. That's how he got his name; He was driving the neighbors "stark" raving mad. X-D Also: Ravens and crows aren't really birds of prey, sorry about that. The name "birds of prey" comes from their more accurate name, Raptor. The name raptor comes from the latin word "Rapere", which means "to seize". In the bird of prey world, a Raptor is a carnivorous bird that kills prey with it's feet, rather than the more mistaken assumption that a bird of prey is a bird that eats meat. Therefore, carnivorous birds like the Raven or the vulture aren't really birds of prey. Well, the Raven isn't really grouped with birds of prey, though, is it? It's in the Corvid family. X-D Did you get that? Sorry, I get a bit enthusiastic. X-D I should start up a "amazing facts" thread to put this stuff in. It is quite interesting.
  21. Yep. I probably won't end up getting it, because I'm not much of a shelf guy. I like things to be in some order in my "base". I don't see how I could use the UCS falcon in my plotline. :-P I also plan on using my hard-earned cash to buy mass amounts of light/dark grey so I can color-code my base. I also really need to get those dock plates from the City Harbor set to remake my dock, etc. You get the idea. Not enough money. I might enter in the raffle, though. If I can. I also need the money to go to the EB event, if I can. What a pricey year. This is going to be a lot of UCS sets to be in the lego stores at one time. The kids won't like that.
  22. 45 minutes? Well, you sure are lucky- the nearest lego store for me is in Portland, OR, a five hour drive. |-/ If I pass through the store some time soon, I'll take a look. Thank's a lot for the information.
  23. All right, I have another picture of myself, holding another bird with a sad story. This is Hera. As you can tell, she is a Common Raven. What's not so common about her is that she is blind. Now, I think the fact that a bird can survive being blind is much more than a human. Why? Well, for starters, they can't find food. Humans can always find help from other humans. Someone found Hera walking around in their backyard, and wondered why she wouldn't fly away when they went up to her. So, they called us, and we later found out she was blind, most likely due to a brain problem that was most likely due to her flying into a window. Being blind and with brain damage is not a good thing, and probably no other bird would survive it. However, Hera, being a Raven, is very intelligent. She has figured out quite a few things. First, she has memorized her two enclosures- one outside, one inside, for night- and she learned how to use her beak as a human would a cane. She has also learned to tell apart our voices. When we call her, she faces the direction of the sound. She has learned to step up onto the glove when told a command (step up) or when we lightly tap our glove on her foot. Whenever she is outside on the glove with us, she has learned never to try to fly away or leave the glove. Also, when it is hot, she pants, a bit like a dog (this is normal for all birds of prey). So, we lightly spray her with a water bottle we keep with us. She then faces the direction of the spray and opens her mouth wider, so she can get a drink. *wub*
  24. Wow, that AT-ST is *wub* . Much better than the new lego model. The thighs look a little too big IMO, but that makes it look better. I like that blaster cannon from what I can see of it. Do you have a better picture of it?
  25. Great interview! Hope to see more! That was probably the most serious one so far.
