  1. Don't worry, I found it. £54.99 for Scarif? Ouch. It's an alright set but I won't be paying that for it. And £65 for the Y-Wing isn't too much of a kick in the crackers, but I would've preferred £60, personally. But, it is 691 pieces, so it's still less than 10p per piece at £65, so not too bad,
  2. That should be about £60 in the UK then, I guess. If so, not bad at all, really. Is the Scarif set up, too?
  3. @Magmafrost Link please? I can't seem to find it.
  4. Mutant Leader, Blight and Strange look great! You can see Scarecrow with a regular torso print and head piece in the photo too, and a Bane in the forefront. But... WHY DOES SUPERMAN HAVE THE ANGRY CLONE FACE???
  5. Huh, I completely forgot about that set haha, that one isn't up. That's odd...
  6. So, are you American folk not getting the new Star Wars sets in January? None of them are up on S@H for the Americans. They're up here though for Britain, except the Battle of Scarif, which might be a March release or something.
  7. I agree too. I love the sets in this wave, the only thing I don't like is the damn price point of that Phantom.
  8. I must say it is disappointing to have a completely inaccurate rank insignia. I imagine they just decided to re-use the insignia they used on Krennic, but that's lazy, if you ask me. I doubt kids care, but it does bother me, after looking more closely. What's worse is there's no Grand Admiral torso print out there - not a single torso print including the the insignia Forresto describes. I mean, it kinda sucks, but to quote Forresto again, it is a Thrawn fig, one we've been waiting around 18 years for now. An official Thrawn is better than nothing.
  9. This is LEGO, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for them to put desired charcaters in polybags, since they've proved in the past they're more than willing to do so.
  10. Yeah, that set isn't too good on value, but I personally I don't like that set, so it doesn't bother me too much.
  11. These sets are really quite well priced. £20 for the Scarecrow set isn't too shabby at all, neither is the £30 they ask for for the Penguin set.
  12. So, price points. £20 for the Landspeeder, Duel of the Fates and Yoda's Fighter. Not bad at all! All 3 sets come with great builds, and great figs. Desert Skiff is at a reasonable price point too, about what I would've expected for 270-ish pieces. A-Wing at £45... Eh, a little pricey, but it's not too bad, and I'm sure I can get it discounted at £40. But here lies my only problem with this wave. £40 for the Phantom. Look, that's a great set, has great figs, but that's ridiculous. LEGO are known for pushing up their prices sometimes as far as they can stretch them, but they've snapped the rubber band and stretched it on the racks. That's a disgusting price, even for LEGO. My inner fanboy commands me to get the set for Thrawn, but not at that price. I'll have to wait for a discount or save up my VIP Points. I understand Thrawn is a highly desired, popular minifig, but that price is extortionate for what the set is - honestly, £35 I would've thought they would've bumped the price up to. Very disappointed and angry at LEGO for bumping the price point up so high.
  13. Very good to hear Thrawn does indeed have the red eyes - I was scared for a moment then!
  14. That's my big gripe with him too. I know what they were going for (his Batman Forever look) but he looks way off.
  15. Everyone looks great minus Scarecrow and Two-Face. The torso print on Scarecrow kinda lets the fig down, and Two-Face is just... nah.
  16. Oh sweet jesus it's Christmas Desert Skiff: It looks great, looks like it's about £30, and has 4 great figs. Boba, of course, Han with his new hair piece, a cheap way to get Chewie (thank the maker). The Sarlaac Pit also looks great. Landspeeder: Nostalgia, nostalgia everywhere! Man, I love this set so much. Only problem is is that I doubt they'll keep it at £15, they'll probably bump it up to £20 because of there being 4 figs. Also nice to get Ben Kenobi and Farmboy Luke in a cheap set again. Will be picking both of these up. Probably the A-Wing, too. Eugh, this will be an expensive wave for me. 5 sets I need to get. And the LBM sets. Might have to skip on those, these are more important!
  17. Was just about to ask this - should we assume this set is an exclusive? We got the image of this set much later than the rest of them. That also leaves the presumed Landspeeder and Desrt Skiff set images to be released...
  18. My one gripe here is, though not with the set, we are STILL missing a remake of Cloud City Lando :-( Furthermore, is that really 358 pieces? It looks really quite similar to the 2013 one in terms of the build (yes, I know, it's the same vehicle).
  19. Hello, what have we here! Lando looks great, and another awesome looking A-Wing. Is this is a January release?
  20. Old one did, I doubt the new one does, the Ghost I think is a retired product now, or will be very soon.
  21. Clayface set looks more substantial than it does on the box from those pictures, but not sure if it's worth the buy.
  22. I once used a sharpie on one of my Flash headpieces to make it black (for a Zoom custom) and the ink stayed on nicely. I also used Sharpie ink on some red legs to make one side black (for a Deathstroke MOC) and that ink is still on there today. So, I imagine so. Anyway, I don't know how to feel about this. It's not something to rant about, but it's certainly disappointing such a key element of his character would be left out, for no apparent reason either. If they can print heavily detailed faces and figures with the yellow sith eyes surely they can stick some red eyes on Thrawn.
  23. Glad to hear you like the set. I dunno, I might get the set, it looks good, but it doesn't really feel like it warrants the massive price tag LEGO have slapped on it.
