  1. Hi, I have another question. It's not that LEGO related, but I still think this is a proper place to ask. Does anyone know of any good online pics or buyable books where there are interiors of Starwars ships and land veehicles. I once found a great picture of an Imperial Venator cout through and interior drawn ... I need this for some mocing ideas I have. I recently bought the pirate tank and am really interested how it looks from inside - where the pilots go and so on. On wookipedia there's only rough descriptions on it saying it has two pilots and that the middle section is also used for transportating other pirates ...
  2. Very, very creative, I love the curtains. Great job and the whisperer made laugh!
  3. Very nice entry, I realy prefer the idea of getting so many smaller parts, which can then be put together as a whole to having just one big thing. This adds a lot to the playability and variations you can set up the look of the bazaar. Also getting so many weapons, tools, other items and minifigs is a feature of D2Cs. I just don't understand the minifig count beeing 9, while I can always count 11 in the first picture?
  4. After almost two weeks of no sleep because of anxiously awaiting my part of the raffled reward, my girlfriend sent me this picture in the morning: Of course the address was not that blurry and it was almost the reason for me to leave work immediately! What was in the package, you ask? You'll never know! Thanks KimT again for the great raffle and the adorable Astromechs. I think I'll take them to bed in the evening ...
  5. What program do you use for making the decals? On this forum I've seen a lot of different decals, some are maid in paint, some in some better programs. If it's grainy it might be the image itself. Try using Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator or some other programs for vector images. I haven't tried anything myself regarding LEGO decals so it's just a guess. Don't think it should be the paper or printers fault. I had similar problems with printing some smaller images to normal paper ...
  6. Agree with above!
  7. Does the vehicle/space ship have to contain only one sit for the Jedi, Sith or bounty hunter, or can it have additional spots for Pilots, apprentices, side kicks etc?
  8. Really great idea, and realisation. Good thing is, that you got the heigts of figures right, which is really important in chess, and usualy Lego doesn't care about that. I think it's my favorite LEGO chess I've seen so far ... I only miss one thing - the flag on the clock! What do you mean; "the clock doesn't work"?! Hamster must've done something to it ...
  9. Just an idea, maybe you should try to make him with the short legs. Would make his height more appropriate ...
  10. Ok sounds reasonable to explain, since some people don't get it ... I chose my nickname back in the days when I had to choose one for Call of Duty which I played online a lot. I was listening to all kind of music in that time and during the Metallica song Master of Puppets, I thought hey, that could be me. It also has many meanings, since puppets can be characters controlled by me in games and hey, it could even be the LEGO minifigs! As already mentioned by some users, Master of Puppets was a bit long so I decided to remove the vowels and separate the words with capitals instead of spaces - like you do with the variables in Java programming (yes I'm an IT). Have been using this name for everything since then and it's really funny when some people see it and whilst playing Starcraft II they respond to me with something like: Your life burns faster!!!
  11. Hahaha, this one really made me laugh! Nice job on the helmet!
  12. Thanks for the info! I am very glad to see the pirate ship piece. But all the feedback they had on this forum and still haven't repaired the beard and the scarf problem. Also some more clothing and faces would be much appreciated, who's going to make pirates with beach shirt or pink shirt under the coat?! Is there any way to import your own skins for heads or clothes?
  13. I hope the figures on the Black Pearl are from the first movie - Barbossa and some more different zombies ...
  14. It's a great move that Lego did this, the boxes were really oversized, and the only reason I can think of, was because you can't sell a 3x3 inch box for 15€ or more. Else there was no point in all the air in the box which was about 3/4 of the content. In my oppinion they should also remove the plastic bags inside, since that is really the biggest problem from an environmental angle, for which unfortunately I do care. And searching parts by costructing a model is also a part of the hobby. Maybe the big boxes (600 pieces +) could contain 2 bags - one for smaller and one for bigger pieces. But at the end of the day, who uses these bags for anything smart and does not throw them away right after opening a new purchased box ...
  15. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with the Hello Kitty ... since it's there, I couldn't say no to any Star Wars sets, especially the Aayla Secure minifig!
  16. Hurraaaaay, LEGO is doing the Hello Kitty, can't wait to get my hands on more pink bricks! Although remember that Hello Kitty has Chuck Norris on the front page of her school notebooks, so maybe TLG should think about their next licensed theme!
  17. If you need more inspiration (Architecture wise) the Grand Ages of Rome is an excelent computer game. Just like Simcity but in Roman age and some militia included as well.
  18. Thanks for the raffle! I was lucky this time, though ... here I complained about not being able to send PMs. This was just my tenth post, which magically made my PMs available ... Didn't notice that one before.
  19. I didn't have enough time at home during the weekend to make it from my Legos, so here's my entry from the designer: Jedi have decided to track down the bounty hunter and found his hideout. They ran after him through a long hallway and entered a big white hanger. What they did not know is that the bounty hunters new armor contained a chameleon feature ... White Boba goes where the blue legs are - flying in the air turning white, like the walls.
  20. I voted for LuxorV's Banner 3, because it has the Clone Wars minifigs and also includes my favorite - Kit Fisto. I also like the lights colors and the positioning. The only thing I'd change is the color of the sign "Uniting Lego Star Wars Fans", so that it is seen better.
  21. Ok, I see now. Also on the official Lego site I found this set under episode III but it's under CW here and on brickforge. I'm just more into CW sets currently so I was wondering weather they might make a newer Kit Fisto in a more cartoonish style just after I buy this one ... But of course it's clear that you can use the ships anywhere. Also Plo Koon's design doesn't look much different to Fisto's (not too cartoonish).
  22. I didn't spot this one anywhere, so I wonder how to distinguish which set belongs to Clone wars and which to the original movie series? I am particulary interested in set 8088 ARC Fighter which is under the Clone Wars group. The problem I see is that the same Kit Fisto was released in a previous set (7661) and that the pilots don't have the cartoonish eyes! I thought all the clones have the same faces, but the clone pilot has a different head. Box art? Well the one from 8096 Palpatine's Shuttle is similar to the newer CW sets but goes under Episode 3. I'm not that hardcore SW fan, so sorry if I missed something obvious. Thanks for answers in advance.
  23. So many nice creations I'm almost embarrassed to post, but since it's a raffle here's my simple container:
