Hi guys, today I present my new creation: the Russian T-14 Armata MBT. This model is heavily influenced by Brickmania model, whose design I think is one of the best around. Not being able to afford it, I created a very similar moc, but with some differences and modifications. The Armata tank was designed over the course of five years, and features a number of innovative characteristics, including an unmanned turret. The crew of three is seated in an armoured capsule in the front of the hull. The main armament of the T-14 is the 2A82-1M 125 mm. The secondary armament consists of a 12.7×108mm Kord. All guns are remotely controlled. The T-14 is powered by a ChTZ 12N360 (A-85-3A) diesel engine delivering up to 1,500 hp. Both the chassis and the turret are equipped with the Malachit dual-explosive reactive armour (ERA) system on the front, sides and the top. The tank features the Afghanit active protection system (APS), which includes a millimeter-wave radar to detect, track, and intercept incoming anti-tank munitions, both kinetic energy penetrators and tandem-charges. ALTAY Urban Operations Tank (ALTAY AHT) was developed by Otokar. ALTAY AHT, Urban Operations Tank is differentiated from ALTAY MBT with its armour system, mission equipment and a suspension with torsion bars. Key specifications of the ALTAY AHT, Urban Operation Tank designed by Otokar are: Explosive Reactive Armour, Telescopic Elevated Observation System (EOS), YAMGÖZ system that enables 360-degrees awareness, and repositioning of remote control weapon stations (RCWS), jammer, Gunshot Detection System, Laser Warning System, Smart Smoke Curtain, directional dozer, 120 mm 55 caliber smoothbore gun suitable for various kinds of rounds. Interesting. It's always good to see that you are increasingly moving towards the possibility of purchasing individual weapons or packages that present personalizations, even deep ones, or only paints that considerably increase their overall realism.

Nice tank, modern and elegant. I notice that you have been influenced a lot by the Leopard 2A4 in making this MOC, like the design of the nose of the turret, the inclination of the snout of the main hull, and in general the shape of the back, or at least that's my impression. I would say that from the whole, this tank reminds me a lot of the third generation tanks, still currently and widely used all over the world. Then there are a whole series of small details that make everything more realistic, such as the accessories on the back of the turret.

Thank you! It's unusual to see the flag tank of a country like Ukraine, but it's said to be one of the best tank in the world, and therefore it could not be missing from my collection.

Thank You! I applied this new method to convey the idea of the ERAs applied along the entire surface of the side skirts. I find the effect very realistic compared to the original. These skirts I built are supported by clips positioned directly above the tracks but without coming into contact with each other.

The Oplot M MBT armament includes a 125mm gun, 7.62mm coaxial machine gun and 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun. The gun is stabilised in both elevation and traverse. Types of ammunition that can be fired by the gun include APFSDS (armour-piercing fin-stabilised discarding sabot), HEAT (high explosive anti-tank), HE-FRAG (high explosive fragmentation) rounds as well as laser beam-riding guided missiles. The missile can be fired while both the tank and target are moving. The missile has a tandem warhead to defeat targets fitted with explosive reactive armour as well as modern spaced armour, optimised against HEAT attack. The Oplot M is fitted with very advanced technologies as integrated vehicle protection system, which includes passive armour, explosive reactive armour array as well as a number of other tank protection devices that are optimised against modern anti-tank weapons and make the tank considerably less vulnerable to the full range of anti-tank weapons, as smoke grenades launchers on the sides of the tank. One visible feature is the new PNK-6 panoramic tank sight. The Oplot is powered by a model 6TD-2 diesel engine developing 1,200 hp. Other images on my flickr page!

I find that BF16s are really useful and versatile, as a happy owner of many of these. I look forward for BPE07s of which I did not know the existence, and could be useful as an addition and completion for my military minifigures, I find that they are very well suited to this theme, despite the theme of origin.

Thank you! I studied the images of the tank in depth, and I designed, after many attempts and efforts, the ideal solutions to be adopted to make it as realistic as possible. Year after year, Lego bricks evolve and make joints and solutions once unthinkable possible. And I'm thankful for that.

@TheBeeze I'm not a big fan of the original Lego heads on military minifigures, but I must say that these last ones are truly beautiful and original!

The Leclerc Scorpion or XLR is a modernized version of the French-made Leclerc Main Battle Tank (MBT). The renovated MBT Leclerc Scorpion / XLR will keep the same armament as the standard Leclerc tank which consists of a Giat 120 mm 52 caliber smoothbore gun designated the CN 120-26. The turret is equipped with an automatic loading system. The new Leclerc will be able to fire different types of 120 mm ammunition, the APFSDS (Armour-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding-Sabot), HEAT (High-Explosive Anti-Tank), and High-Explosive (HE). A 12.7 mm machine gun is mounted coaxially with the main armament. The Leclerc Scorpion is also fitted with a remotely operated weapon station mounted on the top of the turret which is armed with a 7.62mm machine gun. The layout of the Leclerc MBT Scorpion / XLR variant is similar to the previous version of the Lerclerc tank. The Leclerc Scorpion is upgraded with a new armour package that includes additional modular armor on the hull and the turret. The Leclerc MBT Scorpion / XLR will use the same powerpack as the standard Leclerc tank which consists of a SACM V8X-1500 Hyperbar diesel engine developing 1,500 hp. The tank is fitted with advanced equipments as SICS, Barage counter-IED jammer, multi-spectral GALIX passive countermeasures system, BMS, HL-58 laser range-finder, SAGEM HL 60, SAGEM HL-70 gyrostabilised panoramic sight. Is beautiful! I would be curious to see the military evolution of this fictional country throughout the past century up to the present day, the influences it has received and given to the rest of Europe in this species of ucronia.

That's cool! I hope that in the future new and more diversified modular pieces for bulletproof vests can come out, including new types of pockets, clips, accessories, etc.

For 2020 I would like to see Lego produce the following cars for the Speed Champions theme in the new 8 stud width style: Lamborghini Terzo Millennio: with an unmistakable and unique style, the hypercar of the future, with the hope of seeing new techniques and pieces for this set and possibly less stickers; Koenigsegg Jesko: one of the fastest possible cars in the world with a revolutionary design and advanced mechanical and engineering technologies. As above, I would like to see new techniques and pieces, as a possible new type of tapered windscreen. Jaguar XJ220: the best supercar from Jaguar, iconical of early '90s, it was revolutionary for the time, with the possibility of seeing it with its original color, it does not require a wide use of stickers. Lancia Stratos HF and Lancia Delta S4: two timeless cars in the history of motoring rally, pure Italian style and lots of grit and malice under the hood. The perfect rivals for the current Audi Sport quattro S1.
