  1. The base of the propeller. It wobbles a bit, but doesn't fall off. Very sturdy. Right side of the rear propeller. And the left (and better) side. The tail. It uses construction similar to the X-wing's nose, but on a larger scale. Definitely cool. A very neat part of the copter. The guns are constructed so that... ... they turn without turning the cockpit. The interior is rather blase, though.
  2. The Copter This is one BIGASS copter. The photos really don't do the size justice. Lower cockpit with cool computer. Too bad it's a sticker, although I'll definitely leave this one on. Upper cockpit with cool computer. See above. Awesome gatling gun. Yes, even the TECHNIC BEAMS have stickers. I'm actually really fond of that little canister thing. I can see using it elsewhere. Yes - that's a sticker. The rope and hook. I forgot to mention it before, this set comes with two accessories besides the machine gun - binocs and one of those little things to slide down the rope. Also, the thing that 'extends' the rope turns. The other side, because they're slightly asymmetrical. One of my favorite stickers. The door says 'SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT'. It's on both sides. Definitely a keeper.
  3. The Figs They're possibly the best part of the entire set, all in all. Nice new head, although the glasses limit its usability. I am in LOVE with the head on that fig. It's perfect for any number of figures - a good 'scarred hero' face has always been on my want list. I'm turning him into my Viking warlord after I post this review. Again, a new head. Great stubbly beard thing going on. My second-favorite head of the lot. Great for warriors, especially with helms. The torsos are fantastic for special forces figures, if anyone's planning to do something like that. Not TOO fond of the lime green on there, but it's still extremely usable. This is actually a really cool machine gun. I like it. I think this would be a good point to note that ALL designs you see - outside the figures and dinos - are stickers. That means a crapload of stickers. If you can't stand stickers at all in a set, don't buy this.
  4. UPDATE: I WILL BE MERGING REVIEWS AS THEY GO IDLE, THIS IS NOW THE DINO ATTACK REVIEW THREAD "What, Jay's not doing Viking reviews!?" Nope, I think Christopher110 took care of those just fine. Instead, I have brought you what is most possibly the HIGHEST-ANTICIPATED set of the year (;) :D) - the T1 Typhoon. And I gotta say - Dinos apart, it's actually really cool. The Dinos Let's get the worst over with. Yes. Those are ALL the parts in that 'dino'.
  5. I vote 'chrome gold Viking'.
  6. - Manor house lakeside to Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Would incorporate elements of the Italian Renaissance on the inside, but mostly medieval castle/church in architecture. - Life-size, working replicas of ancient warships. Namely the Greek trireme and Viking drakkar, although a Chinese junk would be nice. - Pieter Bruegel the Elder's painting 'The Tower of Babel'. - Every LEGO set ever produced, times two. One for MISB and one for building with. - Theatre room with speaker walls and 12-foot plasma TV. - Voice-activated house control. - Jaguar. That's all I can think of at the moment.
  7. I suggest we head back up to the staircase, and investigate the next room.
  8. Once you count them, shoot me a PM. I'd be very willing to compromise on this. ;)
  9. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=137894 That folder just popped up. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/monorail.../de_buit021.jpg If anyone gets me some of those coin bags, I will pay $10 per bag. I reeeeeeeeally need those.
  10. And now, in a shameless act of thread revival, Bloody Jay reveals his collection... Here we have all my colors on the spectrum, as well as the 'sails/string' box, and the various minifig boxes (legs, heads, torsos, head/footgear, accessories). Also, the 'animal' boxes, separated by fantasy and reality. Astute comic fans or European people will also recognize my framed poster of "The Blue Lotus". Here we have my dark gray. It's out in The Big Box for use in my upcoming MOC. And the Viking Army, of course... as well as my misc baggies. In here are such things as weapons (sorted by polearm, sword, etc.), horns (in both colors), and maps. I need mountain pieces, by the way! Give them to me... allllllll of them. Oh yeah, and the Emperor's Ship that Akkh gave to me as well as the slipcase to the 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' audiobook. The Bionicle Bin. Need I say more? I hope to sell this in the coming weeks (with the sets assembled, of course). Also, a small bin of misc parts from Spiderman Train Rescue and the CLUES figures in the corner, as well as - yes - a sock. It's a very comfortable sock. Neutral colors. I put most of the brown over with the spectrum colors because no other neutral is in small bins. Here I have black, dark blay, light blay (there might be a couple bins of that over with the small bins, actually...), and light gray. Oh, and the transparent pieces/windshields. And, finally (I promise ;)) a box of red-brown ship parts. It wouldn't fit in with the rest of the brown (3x longboat hulls and 12 small boats...). My pimped-out monitor. :P I'm actually thinking of switching systems, but for now, that's all! Overall, about 65,000 pieces. Not shabby for 12 years!
  11. That's because your IP address must have been banned. This means that you're most likely a member that was banned, then tried to re-register.
  12. Make sure you angle for a shipping refund! That'll buy you a Viking Warrior vs. Fenris Wolf next time, that will.

  14. That is just not funny... That could be my children some day... The more the merrier! :P By the way, just found this little bit of Phes trivia: "PHES" means potentially harmful exotic species. This refers to any exotic species which may constitute significant negative risks to human health and environment.
  15. Yeah, it is pretty pathetic. (although I had vague thoughts that Saskatchewan had something to do with bigfoot, so I shouldn't be talking) By the way, to anyone that likes the 'I Club Baby Seals' image, here's an icon to go with it:
  16. *Whoosh* And back to Humor and Fun it goes... ;)
  17. Could it be for the other volt type?
  18. Yeah, it's in DC, about 20 minutes away from the Mall.
  19. Hey all! Just wondering if anyone that frequents the boards is heading over to Brickfest this year. I'm considering it, and want to know what everyone thinks about Brickfest in general. :)
  20. Do you even have any of the others...? Anyway, after seeing both VDF and VFvsFD, I confirm that I think the latter is the better.
  21. It stands to reason that if the (possible) killer was in the dining room, they may have been in the nearby overhang as well. I suggest we take that route, but send only a couple people, and be very cautious about the whole thing. A cliffside seems the ideal opportunity for something 'unfortunate' to happen.
  22. The only one we've encountered was in the great hall, leading upstairs.
  23. This happened before... I'm assuming the first time was a test, and that now we should be getting them fairly soon. I edited the topic title so as not to excite people. ;)
  24. Please, prateek, don't dig up two-and-a-half-month-old threads unless you have something to add. And 'lol' or 'thats funny' or 'thats cool' don't count.
