  1. That would be horrendous and completely unfair, I'd expect that the Asylum set will be around £100, the batcave around £80 and Freeze around £18.
  2. I believe the dome is a fair bit wider than the cowl so either type should fit on the head with the armour piece.
  3. I'm kinda disappointed they are more like two separate red lenses attached to his face than goggles.
  4. Agreed about base plates I miss them being prevalent in sets. If that isn't snow then Arkham is covered in a LOT of bird poop XD Haha no bother, the only worry is if the print below it lacks a collar and so looks very odd without the piece on top.
  5. I suppose it depends which version of the asylum this is, Amadeus founded the original and Jeremiah rebuilt it. Given the blankness of the statue and lack of plaque it's hard to tell and the snake is throwing me. Perhaps the snake is a reference to the medical symbol? I think perhaps some sort of document or book may have fit better or even an angel statue perhaps? In regards to the batcave, the pun on the side of that duck mobile almost makes me want to forgive it for being a poor rehash XD
  6. Also does anyone know if that statue references anything from Batman media? I can't think of a similar statue from the comics or films but it may have slipped my mind. A man holding a snake seems an odd choice? Also, finally internal cameras for the asylum rather than outside! And what a beautiful police cruiser!
  7. I'd love that too, it's been too long since we got a Twoface minifigure. Ah good spot! Is that another belt piece or the same one reversed and recoloured?
  8. That's a collar not a bow tie so the crime is averted XD Wishful thinking given that there are 12 minifigures in that set anyway and just because they don't count as minifigures in the description doesn't mean Lego doesn't see them as having the value of a minifigure. In my opinion these sets are fantastic! I don't love the batcave but I didn't love any of the previous ones either, however this one looks a little small and featureless for the price. And why on earth did they waste the piece count on another duck and bat boat, just make that a separate set! I love the Asylum's different take on the buildings architecture from the last version we got as it gives some nice variety but I have a special place in my heart for the last one we got. The freeze set is a beauty for the price but I am not sure how I feel about Freeze's face yet, I may need to see it in person to appreciate it. And to echo what someone said before it is odd Barbara is a detective as in the comics Jim is so against this and that is part of why she becomes Batgirl. Oh and personally I'm so happy to finally get a purple Catwoman but I really hope we get a full purple outfit (and ideally a full black one in a similar style or at least a black mask with goggles).
  9. Actually I think what you're seeing is actually the collar of his shirt.
  10. Given the prices it seems odd that both sets just have one build and not one for the hero(es) and one for the villains.
  11. I think that if we are getting the asylum set it will come with only some of those 12 and the others will be in other sets. Captain Unicorn may have seen the minifigure names and just assumed they came in the asylum due to their outfits.
  12. The same jumpsuit as the 2013(?) asylum?
  13. Wait..there is no Arkham set? But characters in jumpsuits appear in other sets?
  14. I'd love that just for the jacket!
  15. I agree that we shouldn't blindly believe any of this and on your point about the City Park it was an unlicensed set and it didn't really have much in regards to a build whereas the asylum will have to have at least some sort of building bumping up the price.
  16. Not that I don't trust Delta Customs after his spot on information in the summer, but surely I am not the only one who is incredibly suspicious of that description for the asylum set? Other than Batman I can't see any of the other named characters appearing in other sets (except maybe Barbara?) meaning that is at least 6 exclusive minifigures (one of which appears twice in the set). Adding this to the 3 unnamed figures and Barbara and Batman gives 12 total minifigures, this is higher than every DC superheroes set to date if memory serves even beating out the 60s batcave which I believe had 9(?) and cost an absolute fortune! As such the $100 minimum must be waaaayyy off as the set would have to be over $250 by my estimation.
  17. Yes I did mean Doomsday, apologies for the confusion
  18. Although it is kind of sad doomsday and bizarro are mighty micros and not standard minifigures, to me bizarro will be pretty much spot on with regular legs and (although a big fig would be preferable) doomsday shouldn't look too bad with them either.
  19. I completely agree Roy Harper is much less iconic (not sure about popularity as Atom isn't really seen in the modern comics that much) but in terms of seeing Atom in the future I worry he isn't iconic enough to feature in a set or may not be used in a set for fear of confusion with Ant-man (as I presume we would see an Atom minifigure and micro figure).
  20. As long as it isn't a comic based character I am relieved! But given we got a CW arsenal but there are no signs of a comic book arsenal in the foreseeable future this unfortunately may be the only version of Atom Lego makes.
  21. Shazam cuts me deep because although I don't love the character he is hugely important to the DC universe and they minifigure was pretty spot on.
  22. Fingers crossed it is just a batman variant!
  23. Haha it is I wouldn't mind some watchmen minifigures either! Back on topic though have we had any clues as to what the dreaded con exclusive(s) could be?
  24. Hahaha I am exactly the same rebirth has been great so far!
  25. I just realised in the Ra's set Batman is bringing his own sword, am I the only one that thinks that's weird?
