Anyone know anything about the bricktober promotion in the UK?

I only got one set of wings in both the crawler and flying fox. I did check the instructions but it only lists one set of wings in the booklet. Did anyone else buy the sets yet and get more than one set of wings?

It kinda sucks that the larger 2 justice league sets only give you one set of wings between two parademons so you can't have them both with the same kind of wings. I was really hoping for a set of wings for each parademon so I could have them all match and change them whenever I wanted.

Technically barbara has one too because her "vacation" batsuit has shorts and short sleeves.

Are you saying that with insider knowledge or just assuming? Because he isn't wearing sunglasses in the film in that outfit.

That's the one with his normal head, hair and collar and then a torso and legs that are just white with black stripes right?

As much as I love batman and enjoyed the movie, I honestly hope to god there is not another wave. I think we have already reached saturation point with sets and I really can't see any reason to have more sets after the next wave.

I completely agree. Likewise the set does little for me but the minifigure selection in particular is poor.

Although I understand why you don't, it sucks you don't get a cowl with Alfred.

Is anyone else kinda underwhelmed? I mean the set is fairly visually appealing but the interior looks incredibly cramped, the eye on top isn't even there in the movie(?) and doesn't fit the design well and it doesn't look like it would be easy to modify into a normal Wayne manor. And then there is the minifigures which I am relieved to see the selection sucks so I don't feel I am missing out. The white costumes are fairly lame in my opinion but I'm glad they won't take up spots in the minifigures series now. Other than them there is only 2 exclusive minifigures(?) and the Alfred one is the only one that would fit in with normal DC minifigures. As someone who definitely won't be picking up the set I am so glad there are no exclusive characters and that the only minifigures I will be slightly sad to miss out on is just Alfred in an alternate outfit.

What if the Wayne manor set is all minifigures in the end credits outfits?

For anyone in the UK, Asda is selling the build your own adventure book with green lantern for only £8. I wasn't willing to buy it at £20 but £8 seemed much more reasonable!

Ah a good point, I was misremembering Owen Mercer's outfit as being the same as the version in the Croc set! But you are correct they technically are the same character just from different continuities now.

If it helps the boomerang in the movie is actually the father of the one in the Croc set so they are technically different characters.

Here in the U.K. Lego stores still get every set, I probably wouldn't have bought the Arkham set if I couldn't get it from the Lego store to get some money back.

The batwing seems exceptionally overpriced. I will definitely be holding out for a deep sale on the larger summer sets!

For those who have built the low rider set, which way did you put the stickers on Joker's gun? Just in the instructions they put it sideways, however in the scuttler set it is vertical and on the back of the low rider box it is vertical. I just wondered what the consensus was on which way to have the sticker?

The prices may be Canadian with the $15.99 one actually meaning the GCPD pack. This would still cover the 18 "building sets" too as LEGO counts that as accessory pack and not an actual set.

I'm afraid not, we already know 18 sets. The prices in the announcement are not US dollars as the Joker balloon escape is only $14.99 not $15.99.

Neither was to scale for minifigures, I hate the micro aspect of hellicarrier and the minifigure selection for the tumbler was just too poor to justify the price for me. Don't get me wrong both were accurate to the source material but personally neither vehicle is particularly visually interesting and both sets were overpriced for what you got.
