Personally I hope not. I would much rather get a more recognisable/popular character such as cheetah or if we are going with a cosmic theme perhaps Desaad or maybe one of the many lanterns such as Larfleeze etc.

Could be new packaging for a DVD I suppose? He seems an odd choice for a lego site giveaway for example as he is far more unkown that say martian manhunter or the winter soldier?

Ah that makes sense! I completely agree or even a little bit of light blue on the legs would help to continue the flow of the design.

If you readily admit to the lack of backprinting then, not to sound harsh, but why do you believe the figure is the real deal so to speak? I mean every real batman figure in the superheroes line has had back printing it would be highly odd for lego to skip this one? And at first I thought this may be due to it being possibly a prelim but given how many of the minifig we have seen it seems unlikely that lego would produce such a large volume of prelims leading me to believe that this is most definitely fake. Just to reiterate this isn't a personal attack on you or anything Derzy I just genuinely want to get to the bottom of why these rumoured minifigures are being pushed and seen so much and why people so readily believe them to be real.

Haha no I would say he does not count XD Good catch, if you look on that article at the image of lots of the red and black batman he does not have any back printing. A clear indication it is fake.

Possibly, but would we really be likely to see two more batman sets, that are both unknown to all of our sources, both with a different winged batman, both created from recoloured torsos from discontinued versions of batman?

I don't think any of us here actually even slightly believe these are real and even if we do for a moment take them to be real where are they supposed to fit in with the upcoming sets? Neither fit the 60s batcave or the BvS sets leaving only the chase set which, given we already know batman will have a motorcycle, also does not appear to fit as why would Batman also need the wings? I don't believe we have ever gotten a winged superhero minifigure with their own vehicle before.

I have been a silent observer of this topic for a while now but I can't not comment on these supposed real minifigures. I must say I completely agree with Sir Gareth these are quite clearly fake. Even for prelims these are far too poorly done and lego would not recolour a print from a theme discontinued years ago. Plus lego stamps on the wings do not in anyway prove they are official as they would not be hard to forge. Also not to be cynical but Derzy09 hardly appears a reliable source given his bizarre dodging of questions and inability to take more photos. Furthermore he became a member literally a few hours ago so unlike say Just2good, Sir Gareth, CM4Sci etc he is hardly reputable or trusted as a source.
