  1. The lateral shift is very nice but jurgens ver 2 is a really nice looking machine and a lot nicer than his first version.
  2. It looks like 9398, there hardly going to bring that out? Or will it just the shell?
  3. Changed rear outrigger feet from grey to yellow , real life there yellow and brings a bit of colour to the rear :)
  4. Very nice,if its like any of ur other mocs it will be great :)
  5. Ill also probably buy it as I collect flagships too,but I'm not at all excited as i already have 8421! What's the boss?
  6. Do lego actually build these models that reach over 10k votes? If so would sheepo have submitted the building instructions too them?
  7. I'm not alone! You must be able too see how let down people are this year, iv never seen that any other year which must tell you something! Everyone can't be wrong :)
  8. I'm not sure how cuusoo works but it does not seem fair if this set doesn't go ahead in a scaled down version to reduce cost. It's got over 10k but yet it could be still turned down :(
  9. I couldn't agree more,2013 sets are a huge letdown for me and after seeing 42008 I'm not convinced ether. The wheels look ridiculous on 42008. I'm not sure now if ill buy any.
  10. Also i forgot to add, lithium AA batteries are very light in comparison to alkaline batteries. Win win all round :) I have just bought the 8878 rechargeable pack and yes it is good and has good power but the downside is 7.2 volts.
  11. Still don't see these new motors in lego shop? Was it not march?
  12. I have the best answer, energiser lithium batteries, great power and not drop in power ether, also they last a long time. I'm really buzzled why there not used more by technic fans. http://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Lithium-Batteries-count-Longer/dp/B00003IEME
  13. Does the boom not seem a bit too fast lifting and dropping,in real life these booms are quiet slow, I wonder how close this is to the real 42009?
  14. I might just order a spare 88000 battery , anyway when u build the backhoe 8043 seems a lot less fun so u won't worry about it :)
  15. I have to pull back the side cover to charge too, it's no big deal, i will also leave the model assembled though the battery is now removed and in the backhoe :)
  16. Yes u have to pull out the left panel to charge 8878, Also iv just build the backhoe and it's a masterpiece and even better than the ultimate 8043. It's expensive but worth every penny :) U will see my pics of the backhoe in jurgens backhoe tread.
  17. My speed controller works just fine,:) also I'm using 8878 so can just recharge. I'm in love with this set :) ha
  18. Mmm that's quiet expensive for parts, I wonder is there any sets you could use to even half the number of parts, also what other colour could you build it in that would look nice too?
  19. Finally after getting a lot of parts together iv the beast built :) Jurgens fully power function backhoe! Amazing model and build experience and it really is very big, I'm amazed how complex this model is and how well all the functions work. The backhoe even works very well with the m-motors and the 8878 has no problems powering all the functions. The only change I made was i added a beacon bar which i integrated properly into the roof and it looks very well, it's the old 9v twin beacon with clear yellow bricks to give it the beacon bar look. I also tucked away all the wiring properly too as I like to have things tidy :) It's the nicest model iv ever seen and I have most of the flagships from over the years. For anyone that has not built this please do and u will see for yourself. I would give it an easy 10/10 :) This guy (jurgen is a genious and my favorite mocs are all his. Here's a few photos.
  20. Would this be expensive to build?
  21. Amazing jeep and great review thank you :) Maybe some day ill give it a go though im more into construction.
  22. Don't bother with the v2 receiver it doesn't work :) @ dluder have you a date or is it the 1st of march?
