To me, the LEGO Dimensions Dalek looks like the official Dalek not this Ideas design.

Because it's seeing a bunch of minifigures introduced that people of various franchises will want and could be the reason behind replacing the Simpsons minifigure series with Disney?

The difference with Jurassic World is that they have the Jurassic Park trilogy too that could be used for characters with a number of abilities in Dimensions. Whereas Angry Birds is one movie that A: Hasn't come out yet therefore B: How well it will do is anyone's guess and also C: What kind of abilities beyond 'flight' and (maybe for one of the birds featured in the trailer) super strength could they use for birds that are catapulted around?

Agreed. I prefer the look of the Dimensions one. This design looks shockingly fanmade.

I don't think it would do much use. People have tried asking them about it on Twitter and they just tease some news that never happens.

I don't see why it wouldn't be ready by now. It was announced in February; if it's not ready to show seven months later then there's something seriously wrong.

I'm (kind of) doing the same but not buying a whole load of packs. I've pre-ordered the Doctor Who Cyberman set and I'll probably get either the Jurassic World team pack or The Simpsons level pack when I next go to a LEGO Store but those will probably be the only ones I'll buy/pre-order before I've got the game.

If the Simpsons stuff doesn't sell well, it's nothing to do with the show (the show's extremely popular) but the extortionate prices they charge. For example: most people won't be able to afford The Simpsons' House - you need to be a millionaire to afford either of the two Simpsons sets.

It's ridiculous isn't it? There's a set coming out this year and LEGO are more concerned about showcasing 2016 ones.

I think they should have revealed it at San Diego ComicCon. It would have been the perfect opportunity.

Wait, she's not in the starter pack level? That sucks. I assumed that every cast member they announced for the game would get a role in the main campaign. It would be hilarious to see Batman take on Missy; she's the one character connected to this game who would fit into the Batman universe quite naturally!

I wonder if we could get a LEGO karting game based on this? Imagine a karting game where you could play as Iron Man or The Doctor and race against Batman. It would be enough to rival Mario Kart.

No, she chose Clara to control 'the man who should never be controlled'. I think even Missy would surely know to keep Clara rather than try to get her killed so she could be used later down the line to control the Doctor into one of her traps.

I think there did need to be some sort of motive given that she chose Clara and therefore has a personal connection to her.

Could be to do with the fact quite a few U.S. players had discovered the bugs yesterday and tweeted the Dimensions Twitter about it.
