  1. There was a speculation thread but not a thread about a set leaking out.
  2. http://theukghostbustersgroup.weebly.com/news/gb-feig-lego-on-the-way Possibly the new Ecto-1?
  3. You're missing the point entirely. That's why the product placement was there: it was to show how commercialism and corporate greed can quickly lead to disaster and chaos. I don't believe it is, considering how much money could be made from a park featuring genetically engineered dinosaurs. Zoos still have lions and tigers and they are very dangerous creatures. Nobody would pay just to see a triceratops but if there was a T-Rex and Indominus Rex, a lot of interest would be generated. Life isn't full of likeable people, though. Life is full of good, bad and idiots.
  4. I would say, out of the ones I've played: 1. LEGO Dimensions - Purely because it mixes up the gameplay with innovative uses of the Toy Pad unique to this game and provides a varied experience with the number of franchises on offer. 2. LEGO Marvel Superheroes - Best storyline in a LEGO game so far and massive hub world. 3. LEGO Racers - Never gets old. So good it gives Mario Kart a run for its money. 4. LEGO Batman: The Videogame - A LOT of fun and the storyline from the villains' perspective was brilliant (Why didn't this return in other LEGO games?) 5. LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 - Captured the key scenes well but maybe could have had a quicker pace. 6. LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures - Entertaining at the time but feels a bit out-dated now. 7. LEGO Jurassic World - Don't get me wrong, it's good. Just not to the standard of the LEGO games listed above. 8. The LEGO Movie Videogame - Enjoyable enough but spoilt by a few annoying bugs. 9. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Videogame - Varied. The early levels are great but the On Stranger Tides levels could have been better. 10. LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes - Plot feels a bit convulted to get Lex Luthor and The Joker together, plus takes a long time for Batman to contact Martian Hunter. Still good fun though. 11. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 - This is one that could have been better if done now. I played the DS version and the controls were horrendous (tap the touch screen to jump?!?). The cutscenes are entertaining though. 12. LEGO Rockband - Fun for a while but quickly becomes forgettable. 13. LEGO Chess - Pretty simplistic but an alright time-waster. Nothing special though. 14. LEGO Racers 2- Didn't grip me as much as the first LEGO Racers. Felt like a completely different game (and not in a good way). 15. Legoland - The worst game I've ever played. The narrator's voice is annoying (as you'd expect from a CBeebies presenter), the graphics are terrible, the gameplay is boring...This should be fun but instead its just irritating.
  5. You still have to jump off a cliff (or any other method of death whilst on 'cycle regenerations' mode) to unlock regeneration and the Doctors. Wow, I wish I was able to afford as much as you...
  6. Yeah, that's the best thing to do with the level packs otherwise you can't have as much fun with the mixing-up of franchises in story mode. Also: don't forget to throw yourself off a cliff 12 times to unlock every Doctor.
  7. Of course I would but I would have thought their inclusion would mean a full-time commitment from LEGO to produce Simpsons sets for the game.
  8. I don't think it's fair to say Jurassic World is just Jurassic Park again. Yes, it contains the same warning of messing with DNA but I would argue it's more about the power of commercialism and how corrupt it can be. Plus the film was very entertaining to watch with possibly one of the best lead actors at the moment in Chris Pratt.
  9. Agreed, although I think any 'spin-off' will still be called Indiana Jones. I think they'll introduce Chris Pratt as another long-lost son and Indiana Jones will decide to pass on his name as a title, possibly with him either dying of old age or to sacrifice himself for his newly-discovered son.
  10. I disagree, I've watched The Simpsons since I was 8 and there was no material that I found disturbing. I'm sure that must be the same for plenty of kids both now 20 like I am or currently children given that you get things like lunchboxes with Bart Simpson on. Hell, The Simpsons Movie is only a PG! Also, Channel 4 have been showing it at 6pm since I first started watching it in either 2003 or 2004 and only once have they received any complaints from parents - even then, it was only over one scene. If it wasn't felt to be appropriate for children, then it would be aired post-watershed and if aired pre-watershed receive more complaints than one. Whilst Simpsons and LEGO aren't the perfect match in terms of narrative, it's still a lot of fun to have LEGO versions of such iconic characters. I was at least hoping we would get to have all family members of the Simpsons on the Dimensions toy pad at once. I just don't see why they included The Simpsons if they didn't intend to do any more sets beyond Homer, Bart and Krusty.
  11. I disagree, I expected a lot more from the theme and I'm disappointed they didn't use it to its full potential. Why no smaller £45 sets as well as the big ones, for instance? No more Dimensions sets is just going to be another wasted opportunity with the huge potential for the characters the license will have given them. Why even bother giving them a place in the game if they're not going to commit to it?
  12. Well, that is stupid. Not even getting Lisa, Maggie and Marge to complete the family. We better get some more Doctor Who sets or I'll be preparing a long email of complaint to LEGO.
  13. I hope Pixar doesn't have that much prominence. The Walt Disney Classics should be the priority. The only pairing there needed as well as Mr Incredible and Frozone is Woody and Buzz, although I'm beginning to wonder if they'll be kept back for series 2.
  14. Now if Chris Pratt appears as another long-lost son of Indiana Jones', there can be a fourth minifigure of Chris Pratt.
  15. Do you have any inside information on Dimensions sets or are you basing this on the list of rumoured sets that didn't mention Simpsons? If the latter, I don't think that means anything because it didn't mention any returning franchises at all. I think LEGO will be making a massive mistake if they don't do any more Simpsons or Doctor Who Dimensions sets: there's still a lot of characters they can do yet. They haven't even done Lisa and Marge yet.
  16. Lego generally don't tend to remake games though. And they shouldn't.
  17. Well, the hover board is a lot of fun and more than makes up for the very basic level.
  18. There won't and doesn't need to be a LEGO Dimensions 2.0 for more Simpsons Dimensions sets. I hope we get at least three or four more fun packs.
  19. If Rafiki is included, he will need a moulded head.
  20. Not necessarily. Every Doctor is playable via the Doctor Who level pack without having to purchase 12 more minifigures separately.
  21. I actually prefer that to the mini Delorean used.
  22. That is exactly what PC is. The poster in question was right. What boy is going to want something girly like Minnie? Okay, maybe some girls might get Captain Hook because you do get 'Tom boys' but most will find the more female-orientated minifigures more interesting.
  23. Trouble with this world is that it's too PC. You can't say something's only for girls or only for boys now without people telling others they're wrong, even when they are right and not being 'sexist' or any other labels people may use at all.
  24. I doubt all of the rumoured franchises will come true because it would be too much alongside the franchises they already have in the game. Knight Rider, for example, is never going to happen. I hope we get some more Doctor Who (although that's inevitable), Simpsons, Ghostbusters and Jurassic World sets (preferably featuring characters from Jurassic Park also).
  25. Yeah, Davros would make a good fun pack. You could have the 12th Doctor in Davros's chair again too! No. I think Clara looks fine the way she is.
